What’s going on everyone, and welcome to the third week of the 2018 NFL season! I hope you guys all had a great Week 5 thanks to some awesome performances from Drew Brees, James Conner, Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Odell Beckham Jr., Eric Ebron, and Tre’Quan Smith (of all people!)

Below are my rankings for Week 6, for all scoring systems, so enjoy!

And like always, be sure to check out Rudy’s fantastic premium tools here, and follow myselfMB, and Jay on Twitter.

In the meantime, I’ll be back on Saturday for the sixth edition of my 2018 Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em series!

It’s week 6 and according to our comment section, business is still booming for our readers and I’m very happy to see it. If you’re at 2 or 3 wins, you just have to win it on the waiver wire and Kerry can help you out with that. If you’re looking to make trades to give you that extra edge check out Rudy’s trade analyzer. There are two teams on a bye this week and they are the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints. Here are my week 6 rankings and I will see you in the comment section.

Back like we never left! I’m bringing you three guests each week, short bursts of hopefully meaningful content. This week I’m getting into Rankings with one of the masters, Jake Ciely, now of The Athletic. I also asked Bob Lung, of Big Guy Fantasy Sports, how his Consistency Guide got its start, and how it can help you. And finally, I got to get the perspective of a Dynasty noob, as Kasey Kasem of Fighting Chance Fantasy discussed her experiences thru the first quarter of the season. If you only want audio, there’s a link below. If you’re interested in the Overall #DWG4 Standings, there’s a table below. If you want to get into the 2019 contest, send an email to [email protected] and put — #DWG5 Pre-Registration — as the heading. Lastly, I am putting in the sweat to bring you these, so by all means… give me your feedback! Are you learning anything from the guests? Is it entertaining? Is it boring, or not for you? I really do want to know, and don’t worry, tell me how you really feel.  I can handle it:

Welcome back, my Lovelies, to another e-rousing week of Hit it or Quit it, with Yours Truly, your Goddess of innuendo. This week has been another pound fest for your all-knowing Goddess. I went 4-1 this week and that 1 is really sticking in my…throat. See, what many of you are not aware of is I am a giver. And being such I made the decision in my Razzball RCL this year to stock my team with nothing but sleepers and waiver wire meat. As a result, I am currently 0-5 in that league with it not looking up anytime soon. C’est la vie. Let it be known that I like to give you all your money’s worth and emasculating men in every one of my leagues (albeit fun for me) does not help my reading base grow. And if there is one thing you, my faithful Horde know, is that I am quite the master of making things grow.

Jameis Winston (@ ATL): Jameis Winston and a guy named Chester in the same article and I’m not making that the headline? I deserve some praise for my maturity. It’s already been reported that Winston will be QB1 in Atlanta in week 6. The Falcons are tied for second-most TD passes allowed and are 10th in passing yards allowed and have allowed 20+ fantasy points to their opposing QBs in 4 straight games now. Jameis is only 12.6% owned and just like with Baker Mayfield — he won’t be that available for long.

What a time to be alive if you drafted your franchise QB at the top of the 2018 NFL Draft. You had Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen all to pick from and all of whom went out and won this week. Imagine if your team had an aging QB who was 37 years old showing significant decline in play and with the 2nd overall pick in this past draft, you decided the clear choice was a running back. Man. That team would be crazy to do something like that. So guess what Giants fans? I have started the preliminary work on a mock draft (to debut at the end of the season) and I have you guys actually taking a QB. But enough of that for now, let’s see what happened in a couple of the games yesterday.

You know that things are mixed up when the Browns and the Bills beat teams with a combined 6-2 record coming into Sunday. More on one of those games after the jump. In the primer, I always give our readers a weather forecast. Let’s be clear, rain really doesn’t matter as much as you think it does at this time of year. Pat Mahomes threw for over 300 yards against a very good defense. The weather wasn’t the reason that he didn’t throw for a touchdown, it was the Jaguar’s secondary. 60 degrees and rainy is a lot different than 37 degrees and rainy and I’ll do my best to express that going forward.

What a fight that was last night? McGregor/Khabib fought such a good fight and McGregor/Khabib didn’t stand a chance. I knew it the whole time, I tell ya! Can you believe that *insert celebrity* was there? How about when *insert fighter* called out *insert fighter* trying to garner up a big money fight? No seriously, I’m really excited for the fight that will be finished by the time this posts. I can’t believe Khabib actually made weight and Tony Ferguson made it through a camp without getting hurt. I’m sure we’ll have a lot to talk about by the time you are reading this. That was talking MMA with MB!

Is there anything more frustrating in sports, than when management doesn’t put the best players on the field? As a Packer fan, why Green Bay is still using a RB by committee is infuriating. Aaron Jones is in an entirely different class than Jamaal Williams, yet Mike McCarthy continues to use them in rotation. As a Dynasty player you can try to take advantage of this situation and add some depth to your team. Owners may be frustrated with Jones usage, and if he doesn’t get the workload this week they may try to cut bait. Aaron Jones is an explosive back with hands. He averaged 5.5 yards a carry last year, and is over 6 in 2018’s small sample size. The reason I’ve heard for him not being in on every down is his lack of pass blocking. I just don’t see it. Go acquire Aaron Jones everywhere and hope that McCarthy sees the light. He is putting up starting back statistics without a starting back’s workload.

What’s going on everyone, and welcome to another entry in my “Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em” series! Last week, I had the pleasure of watching the Bears come out and put up 45 quick ones against the Bucs, as I hoped they’d do, so let’s keep the good fortune going!

We’ve got some very interesting games to talk about this week, so without further ado…

Let’s get to it!

I’m going to take this moment to point out that the Rams and Chiefs are putting up bonkers-level offensive stats by throwing early and often, aggressively utilizing #AirRaid principles to get big plays on any down. It’s beautiful to watch. Meanwhile, the Raiders have committed $100 million guaranteed to a coach who laments the death of the fullback and is publically willing to talk about how he enjoys watching Wisconsin smash-mouth football (I’m not kidding – “I sit down and watch Wisconsin, and I feel like I’m breathing fresh air again”). Jared Goff and Patrick Mahomes are shattering records and he wants to watch Wisconsin pound some 220 pound Ron Dayne wannabee up the middle for 4 yards a carry, 40 times a game.
