  1. Hippo says:
    (link)

I’m in a half point PPR and had a few roster questions. My team consist of:
    my starter this week are:
    qb – dalton
    rb – blount, matt jones
    wr – jeffrey, diggs
    te – clay
    flex – j. matthews, a. andrews
bench is – hyde, calvin johnson, west, john brown, r. mathews

My Ds are Atlanta and Arizona….didn’t know if I should just drop Arizona D on their bye
    and Kicker is hauschka

So, I need a Kicker for the week

Do I drop Arizona for Hauschka?

Also, would you make any other swaps? The free agents out there including Heath Miller, Michael Floyd, Woods, Romo, Vereen

    Thanks for the help.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hippo: I think you have enough depth. And I think that drop for a kicker is fine, but I’m also okay with switching it out with Mathews for a week.

  2. Nick says:
    (link)

Morning Jay, I saw that last night the new Titan HC said Andrews would be the workhorse going forward…now I know not to put much stock in what coaches say but should I continue to hold Cobb for a little longer to see what happens in my 10 teamer? Another team grabbed Sankey/Andrews before that news broke so surprisingly all Titan backfield is owned in my league..

Question 2, I’m going to make a claim on Stevie J, & think my drop will be Joique Bell. Since I have AP/DeMarco starting & Duke J/Cobb on my bench… You know my WR core is rather weak (Ty/Amari/Garcon or D Adams) therefore what would you bid on Stevie? I have $28 FAAB left & alot of my leaguemates are getting closer to my budget as 1 person blew their entire FAAB For D’Angelo & others spent a nice chunk for Langford, Aiken & Davis..

    Thanks as always!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nick: Yeah, I didn’t bother ranking Cobb this week because I think they take it slow with him. Andrews will see the bulk this weekend, but I think it’ll slowly transfer. Yeah, that seems fine. I agree with Smokey, I think Johnson is the big winner here with Allen out. I’d say half that is enough. We’re getting late enough into the season where low dollar moves take place of big ones, so a bulk of that won’t hurt you.

  3. Wendy says:
    (link)

Have a stupid kicker ?, my team
Bree’s, freeman, gurley, Forsett, Martin, d Williams, a brown, cooper, j brown, Matthews
    Eifert, barnidge, tucker and Atlanta
Do I drop tucker during bye or just take a 0
    I’m 6-2
People don’t like to trade but would you trade Forsett and j Mathews for A Jeffery

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wendy: How’s the other team looking? Tucker is pretty special for a kicker, and tanking the zero could be worth it if you still have a chance to win. And I like that trade for you right now.

      • Wendy says:
        (link)

        @Jay:
He’s playing Rivers, Julio,Cobb, Gordon, Crowell, Cameron, decker, Gould and he has Arizona but hasn’t switched them out yet – he’s 1-7

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Wendy: might be worth taking the risk.

          • Mark says:
            (link)

@Jay: does your league allow you to pick up players on Sunday after the noon games start but before the FA pickup’s game begins? If so you can see how the day games go and then pick up Sturgis, Gould, or Lambo if it looks like you need a kicker to win and one of them are available. I personally would just drop Matthews.

            • Mark says:
              (link)

              @Mark:
Actually cancel that last part if you’re talking about Jordan.

            • Wendy says:
              (link)

@Mark: I like that idea- if the scores are close I can drop tucker and pick up lambo – the others you mentioned are taken

  4. frogger says:
    (link)

10 team keeper @ 0.5 PPR… contracts are either 1 year at same price or 3 year starting at same price with $5 increments in y2 and y3.
I’m tied for second and 5-3, first place is 7-1. his team is (cam, freeman, d.lewis, lynch, edelman, a.brown, Barnidge with Latavius, and Eifert on the bench)

My team (draft value — or can not keep due to expiring contract)
    QB: Rivers ($5)
    RB: Mark Ingram ($30)
    RB: Doug Martin ($17)
WR: Julio Jones (can not keep)
    WR: Allen Robinson ($10)
    Flex: Cobb (can not keep)
    TE: Heath Miller ($1)
    D: Streaming
    —– BENCH —–
RB: Frank Gore (can not keep)
    RB: Danny Woodhead ($5)
RB: CJ Spiller (can not keep)
    WR: LaFell ($1)
    WR: James Jones ($1)

__Do i trade my future keepers in the following trade__
    Allen Robinson ($10)
    Doug Martin ($17)
    –for–
    Deandre Hopkins (can not keep)
either AP (can not keep) or Charcandrick West (obviously wouldn’t keep)
    Denver DEF ($1)

This guy initially offered Robinson for Deandre… I countered for him to throw in west… he countered with the above. This guy is also out of the palyoffs already, so he is just buying for the future.

    Things to note
    1) I wouldn’t play first place until the championship in week 16 assuming i finish 2nd.
    2) AP’s playoff schedule sucks… I know he’ll bounce back on TD’s, but still it’s a rough schedule
3)by making this trade, i’m left with no legitimate keepers for next year

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@frogger: Flags fly forever. This is a win now trade, and I like it for that reason alone. I’m still going best player there in AP.

  5. Frank says:
    (link)

Hello! I am 5-3 in a 12tm half ppr. Started out 5-1 but had 2 toughs weeks. This is all without Dez, Peyton sucking, and due to Devonta’s emergence. I also just lost Keenan Allen.

So I may be looking to improve and talking to one team now. Should I sit with the roster I have or flip one of my RBs (possibly Devonta) and WRs for Antonio Brown?

    My team –

    Peyton, Fitzpatrick (been starting him)
Demarco, Latavius, Devonta, Polk, T Coleman
Dez, E Sanders, Crabtree, K Wright, Boldin, D Jax
    Eifert

Devonta is the only main guy with a bye coming up, week 10.

    Other team –

    Eli
Dion, Martin, Andrews, Duke, Karlos W, Darkwa
A Brown (wk 11 bye), Calvin, D Hop, Randle, Benjamin
    Kelce, Heath

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank: I’d try a Murray/Sanders combo for Brown, but beyond that, I’d keep Freeman unless you’re blown away. He’s probably the best back in the league right now, as silly as that sounds.

      • Frank says:
        (link)

@Jay: Yea I’d agree with that on Freeman. Thanks!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

          @Frank: Any time!

  6. B.J. says:
    (link)

    Good morning fellas,

I’ve been offering the following trade in my 12 team NonPPR league

I get: one of these WRs:Dez/Marshall/Megatron, Ingram, and M. Bennett
I give: Gronk and Chris Johnson

I’m slightly concerned that I don’t have a legit #1 RB after losing Bell and Foster for the season. I was content with my team until losing both of my top RBs. In a panic move to get RB depth I traded AJ Green for Latavius and then I was offered Gronk, Chris Johnson, and TJ Yeldon for Olsen, Diggs, and Cooks. I couldn’t say no to getting Gronk, but I feel that I’m lacking at WR now and feel that getting either of those 3 WR1s will help my WR situation greatly, plus I’d be getting Ingram to use as my top RB. I realize that the dropoff to Bennett is drastic but he’s a decent TE option when my starters at the other positions would be very good.

    What do you think?

    My team
QB- Matty Ice WR- DT, Evans, S. Watkins
RB- L. Murray, Ivory TE- Gronk
Flex- Yeldon K- Walsh DEF- New England

Bench- Chris Johnson, Hausckha, D. Carr, Carolina D, Ma. Floyd, C. Michael, A. Ellington
    IR- Ajayi

    • Lex says:
      (link)

@B.J.: who is your backup TE if u lose gronk….I’d take all those recievers and ingram quick

      • B.J. says:
        (link)

@Jay: @Lex: hey fellas I’d be getting Martellus Bennett to use at TE. I could pick up Jordan Cameron as well. Although he hasn’t been that great this season.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@B.J.: I think the trade’s a win for you then with Bennett.

          • B.J. says:
            (link)

            @Jay:
Hey Jay, he no longer wants Chris Johnson and is asking for Latavius Murray.

So the deal would be my Gronk and Murray for his Dez, Ingram, and Bennett. Still go for it? Or should I pass? I’m having some second thoughts about moving Gronk.

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@B.J.: I’d pass then. I’m rather keep Murray and it sounds like he had second thoughts. See if he’ll take the original deal.

              • B.J. says:
                (link)

@Jay: thanks for the quick response! He’s adamant about not wanting CJ. He has said that he likes Yeldon. Would you do the deal with Yeldon instead of CJ?

                • Jay

                  Jay says:
                  (link)

@B.J.: I really like Yeldon. Tough one. Still leaning no there.

                  • B.J. says:
                    (link)

@Jay: ok cool! Thanks again. I’m thinking of just walking away from the table. Not sure why I’m overthinking this. Gronk is a certified stud at a very thin position. If he comes back and says he’d do the deal with CJ I’d pull the trigger, otherwise I’m out.

                    • Jay

                      Jay says:
                      (link)

@B.J.: I liked the original deal, because CJ is more of a risk, but I think Gronk can do just as much as what you’d be getting back.

                  • B.J. says:
                    (link)

@Jay: Hey Jay, sorry to bug you on a Friday afternoon, but I think the other owner and I have hammered out a deal. I get Dez, Ingram, and Bennett. I give up: Gronk, Chris Johnson, Andre Ellington, and Malcom Floyd. I am fine with moving Floyd and the two Cardinals RBs because they are bench options at this point. This makes Sammy Watkins my WR4, which I find much more palatable. What are your thoughts?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@B.J.: Yeah, depending on who can be put at TE, I think it’s a good trade for your team the way it’s aligned right now. You definitely need a WR. I’d lean Dez there.

  7. Hometown Heroes says:
    (link)

Standard scoring Lafell or M Floyd ROS?

      • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
        (link)

@Jay: interesting answer since we don’t know which mfloyd

  8. Ian says:
    (link)

Hey I was offered this deal and was looking for advice, i’m very on the fence about it. Losing Brady would be a hit but adding evans and diggs could be huge.
Russell Wilson, Mike Evans and Stefon Diggs for
Tom Brady, Willie Snead and CJ Spiller

What do you guys think? Thanks! It’s a full point ppr league. I have Tyrod Taylor on my Bench to help with Wilson and my only other consistent WR is Brandon Marshall.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Ian: I like this deal for you, yeah.

  9. Chuckles Tiddlesworth says:
    (link)

Jay! So you’re thinking Sammy Watkins doesn’t play or hurts himself AGAIN early in the first quarter? Am I blind or is he not on this list?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Chuckles Tiddlesworth: I decided to keep him off for now, quite simply because I’m not sure where to rank him yet. I usually update this list a few times today, after reports start coming in.

  10. Kendrick Llama says:
    (link)

    Two questions:

    1. Gore before Hill? Feel lik Gores matchup is EXTREMELY tough and it looked like Hill would be the man getting the carries this week. Is your ranking based on you being unsure of usage?

    2. I have Eifert and Reed in PPR. Feel like Reed definitely gets more targets this week. But Browns give up TDs to TE. Is it bad to be worried about starting Eifert if I also start Hill?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Kendrick Llama: 1. Yeah, in standard, Hill is ranked ahead, but in PPR, I think Denver’s defense is going to force a short-game by Luck. I’m expecting some check-downs there.

      2. I don’t think so, there should be enough there.

  11. Fizz says:
    (link)

    Need to start two.
    R. Mathews, T. Coleman, Sproles, and A. Morris.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Fizz: leaning Mathews and Coleman right now. Morris is close.

  12. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

Hey what’s good!’ Not great choices all around but would you start Marvin Jones, LaFelle, or D. Adams this week? Thanks!

  13. Duke says:
    (link)

Grade the trade in a standard 12-teamer: I gave up Ryan Mathews, Diggs, and Cameron for Blount, Rishard Matthews, and Delanie. My only other RBs were Hill and Ivory so I made this trade with that in mind.

My other WRs are Demaryius, Robinson, Lafell, J-Matt, and Marvin Jones. Someone should help fill the void right? Reed is a beast at TE, though he does get hurt quite often.

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Duke: Yeah, the trade is okay, but the Dolphins remain an enigma for me. I think you got the more useful parts here, but giving up Diggs might hurt a little.

  14. ryanoger says:
    (link)

    .5 ppr keeper

Who would you rather have…Joique, Ryan Mathews, or Devante Adams?

    thanks jay

        @Jay:

        10 team .5 ppr keeper

You like Devante over James Jones?

        thanks jay

        • Jay

          Jay says:

          @ryanoger: in a keeper, yes.

  15. Steve D. says:

Single point PPR, pick one for FLEX slot:

    Melvin Gordon vs. CHI
    LeGarrette Blount vs. WAS
    Allen Robinson @ NYJ
    Danny Amendola vs. WAS
    Dorial Green-Beckham @ NO

  16. Mike says:
    (link)

Hey Jay thanks for getting me a win last week! DFS…start Travis Benjamin & Marvin Jones or Taylor Gabriel and AJ Green and also gotta decide on Eifert or Barnidge. Something tells me the Bengals will not have to use Eifert much

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mike: Congrats, no probs! Yeah, leaning Barnidge here in DFS, along with the Jones, Benjamin combo.

  17. Connor says:
    (link)

    Jay!
Got a trade question for you. 12 Team .5ppr keep 3 league. Just traded John Brown and Abdullah for Char West.

    QB- Mariota

    RB- Woodhead
    WR- Julio
    WR- DT
    WR- Alshon
    TE- Eifert
    Flex- Langford
    Flex- LaFell
    D/ST- Vikings

    Bench
    Stafford
    Matt Jones
    David Johnson
    ASJ

Got offered TJ Yeldon and TY Hilton for Alshon and Langford. What do you think?
    Thanks man

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Connor: I’d take it.

  18. Steve Stevenson says:

.5 PPR ROS, J. Bell or Matt Jones?

  19. jojo says:
    (link)

R Wilson or Tyrod Taylor ROS? 12 team league standard

should I drop one of them?
don’t want to waste a spot holding an extra QB.

    thanks!!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@jojo: still leaning Wilson there, but he is on the bye.

  20. JohnnyBeGood says:
    (link)

Hey Jay! in 1 pt PPR, for my Flex, which u like best: L Miller, M Bryant, D Moncrief ?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@JohnnyBeGood: Miller, but I thought about Bryant for a long minute.

  21. JohnnyBeGood says:
    (link)

oh and which QB for this week: Rivers or Brees ?? Thank you~~~

  22. Clint says:
    (link)

What do you make of the Bears’ secrecy over this Forte injury? From Ben to Mariota to Le’Veon all of the other MCL injuries this year seem to have been known fairly quickly and at least a timeline given within a few days. I don’t remember Fox being so secretive with injuries before but I can’t seem to find anything that says whether Forte’s out 2-4 weeks or what and we’re hours away from it being a week since he was injured.

    • RotoLance

      RotoLance says:
      (link)

@Clint: I’m actually inclined to believe that John Fox is one of the coaches that likes to be secretive with injuries. Forte was not injured Thursday, by the way, he was injured Sunday. I say that because your “hours away” reference seems to imply that maybe you think he was injured Thursday. So just trying to clarify that.

Speaking of hours away, my injury report post is in fact a merely hours away and I’ve got some Forte info there, but it’s basically all speculation on my part because I didn’t see much out there, as you are saying, it’s just not there.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Clint: Par for the course with John Fox. He did this with Jeffrey too. I’d bench him for now.

  23. JohnnyBeGood says:
    (link)

Sorry, last one….start who this week; R Fitzpatrick or M Mariota ??

      • The Harrow says:
        (link)

@JohnnyBeGood: mariota, that saints defense is sooooo leaky.

  24. Jack says:

PPR Pick 1 for flex. I am torn. Gore, Malcom Floyd, T. Benjamin, Allen Robinson, or Barnidge? Thanks.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jack: Leaning Arob… who’s in your TE right now? Barny should be starting unless you have Gronk, Olsen, or Kelce.

  25. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

Here’s the only questions I can possibly have about my team for the week:

    A.Rob or Diggs?

    L.Miller or Jog DMC?

    0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards receiving/100 yards rushing – 6 point bonus at 135 yards receiving/150 yards rushing

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Wilsonian: leaning Diggs and Miller.

    • The Harrow says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: jog dmc best nickname for him yet, better than mcglass or any of those.

      • The Harrow says:
        (link)

@The Harrow: when he gets a little older jog at the mall dmc.

  26. Connor says:
    (link)

Does it sound absolutely insane to play ASJ over Eifert? I hate Thursday games. Dalton gave me nightmares with his Thursday night performance last year against the Browns and I’m concerned Hill runs all over them. The Giants matchup looks so inviting for ASJ… Help! Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Connor: it’s arguable, so not crazy. I’d say go with your gut.

  27. Jack says:
    (link)

PPR – Allen Robinson or Jonathan Stewart? Thx.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jack: tough one. ARob is the ceiling, Jstew is the floor. I’m going ARob.

  28. Jack says:
    (link)

Sorry – one more. Gates or Barnidge?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Jack: Barny.

  29. Brown L says:
    (link)

You worried at all about Woodhead’s usage last week? Doesn’t look it according to your rankings. Was assuming I’d be starting Latavius over him, but now you’ve given me pause.

    • Brown L says:
      (link)

      @Brown L: Half PPR, btw

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brown L: not really. Rivers spreads it out, sometimes the volume gets wacky.

  30. MikeY says:
    (link)

1/2-PPR league. Have to pick 3 of Jeremy Hill, McFadden, Dion Lewis & Blount.

Hill vs. Cle & McFadden vs. Phi are givens, right?

Dion Lewis is basically a receiver, so he’s a PPR monster, but if they get up big on the Redskins, they’ll probably run Blount a ton, right?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@MikeY: because of it being PPR, I’d go with the first three. I understand the Blount thing, it’s just so hard to figure out that running game.

Standard. I need to start one as a flex and one as wr.
    A. Hurns, Marvin Jones, D. Sproles, A. Morris

      @Fizz: Hurns and Jones.

Hey Jay and any others who want to chime in…

    16 team keeper league.

My WRs are Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Garçon, and James Jones. Ugly. But my RBs are gorgeous. Peterson, Lacy, DeMarco Murray, Muscle Hamster and Hillman.

I’ve been offered Eric Decker for Hillman. Is Decker enough of an upgrade to my sorry-ass WRs to make the trade worthwhile? Hillman is $3, Decker is $14.

    Thanks, man!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Chupacabraj: Naw, I think you could do better. I’d actually wait until a good game for Peterson or Lacy and see what they can fetch.

  34. The Thumb says:
    (link)

10 team standard, would you trade Allen Robinson for Dez Bryant?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@The Thumb: Yeah, I’d do that.

    Hey Jay–great work!

Which side would you prefer in 12 team, 0.5 ppr league:

Side A: Demaryius Thomas, Latavius Murray, Stevie Johnson
Side B: Julio Jones, Justin Forsett

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scott: I’ll take Julio, but that’s a super tough one.

  37. TOG says:
    (link)

What’s your take on Stevie Johnson? Will he become a target monster like Keenan Allen?
SD playoff schedule wk 14-16: @KC, MIA, @OAK

Think he’s worth grabbing in PPR league? I’m already stacked at WR.
I would have to drop one of: Cutler/Taylor, Crabtree, Ertz, NYJ/CAR
    QB: Cutler, Taylor
    RB: West, Woodhead, Hillman
WR: Hopkins, Green, Cooper, Landry, Crabtree
    TE: Watson, Ertz
    DEF: NYJ, CAR

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@TOG: I would say 50% of what Allen was doing, which is still pretty good. I would drop Ertz.

  38. Dave says:
    (link)

Would you start Jordan Reed or Lacy in the flex this week (PPR)?

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Dave: Going Lacy here.

  39. Mark says:
    (link)

What are your thoughts on the keeper value of David Johnson and Matt Jones? Johnson would be a 12th round keeper next year and Jones an 11th. Should I hold on tight to them or ditch them to improve my bench with guys who may have more value this year (Ben Watson, etc)?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mark: Jones. I think Washington wants to make that happen as fast as possible. If you’re in it, going for a Watson (depending on who’s your TE) isn’t a terrible idea.

      • Mark says:
        (link)

        @Jay:
Do you foresee David Johnson having a big role next year? I know it’s impossible to know for sure, but something about dropping him in a keeper league feels wrong. I feel like he performs when given the opportunity and Chris Johnson is only on a one year deal and they clearly don’t want to use Ellington much.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Mark: I do, but Chris Johnson and the extension talk makes that a bit complicated. In a perfect world, I’d want to keep both. Just depends how much difference a Watson can make.

Dynasty question 12 teams .5 ppr. 220 auction budget

Would you rather Kelvin Benjamin for the next 2 years at $2 per year or Keenan Allen at $14 for only for next year.

    Thanks

      @brett: Kelvin.

@Barker: I’d want the Lacy side.

  42. onemoretime says:

everywhere I look Martavis is ranked higher than Dez, the dilemma I have is that I already own Antonio Brown..

would you rather start Antonio, martavis, and alshon or Antonio, Dez, and alshon this week?

    thank you.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@onemoretime: It’s unique when you have two players on the same team. I don’t mind diversifying in this case.

Pick 2 – Woodhead, Cooks, Eifert, Decker?

    Thanks!

      @Ron: Woodhead and Cooks.

      • Ron says:

@Jay: @Jay: Even after Melvin dominated the snaps last week you still have confidence in Woodhead?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Ron: yeah, he’s still very much part of that offense.

  44. tripwirealarm says:

I am in a standard ESPN league, my team consists of:

    QB- Roethlisberger
    QB- P Manning
    RB- Ivory
    RB- Petersen
    RB- Gore
    RB- Yeldon
    RB- M Gordon
    WR- Hopkins
    WR- C Johnson
    WR- J Brown (ARIZ)
    WR- Diggs
    WR- Floyd
    WR- Snead
    TE- Gronk
    D- Bills

I am thinking about dropping the Bills D for the Bengals or Eagles, for ROS, what do you think?
I can pick up Sammy Watkins, Tyrod Taylor, Bortles, D Adams R woods. Should I drop anybody on my team for one of those players and if so who do I drop?

    Thank You for your time!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@tripwirealarm: I think it’s fine. I’d go for the Bengals. I don’t see many drops on your team, so I think you’re okay.

    14 team 0.5PPR 4pt passing TD

The owner of DeAngelo Williams is dangling him out there. He offered DeAngelo and Tavon Austin for DeAndre Hopkins. I think this is too much, but I do need RB help. Should I counter for that same package, or try something like Evans for Williams?

    QB – Andrew Luck
    WR – DeAndre Hopkins
    WR – Brandon Marshall
    WR – Mike Evans
    RB – Charcandrick West
    RB – Ronnie Hillman
    TE – Jason Witten
    W/R/T – Brandin Cooks
    Q/W/R/T – Drew Brees
BEN – CJ Anderson, Victor Cruz, Adam Humphries, Kendall Gaskins, Shaun Draughn

    • Cheese says:
      (link)

@Cheese: Or I could do gore for cooks.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Cheese: Evans for Williams is more likely, but I think you’re still over-buying here. Any other deals out there? You should be able to get a tier 1 running back for Hopkins.

  46. Money Mike says:

Hey Jay, after all the pickups were made yesterday there were a few interesting names available on the wire. Alfred Morris, Matt Jones, Ameer Abdullah, Rashad Jennings, and Orleans Darkwea are all available. My RBS are DMC, McCoy, J. Bell, Karlos Williams. Do you see any moves I should make for ROS value? Thanks bro

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Money Mike: Not really. Ameer for Bell maybe next week, but I don’t see anything that’s necessary here.

  47. Bad Newz Kennels says:
    (link)

Jay, I’m in .5 ppr league and I have Gio and Blount as my RB’s. Alshon and Edelman as my WR. Really feel like I need a better RB. If I trade Edelman, I can play Decker, Moncrief or Floyd in his slot. Trying to gage who I should I try to get for Edelman. Deangelo? Murray? Martin? Those guys makes sense? Or stand pat?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bad Newz Kennels: Yeah, DeMarco sounds reasonable, and I’d probably target him.

14 team league with 2 keepers (went into year with a.brown in the 4th and forsett in the last), can’t keep 1st rounders. PPR with 6 PT TD’s passing. start 3 WR.

    rodgers
    duke johnson/stewart/forsett/vereen/powell/j.allen
    hurns/snead/evans/a.brown/garcon
    gates/clay

allen is clearly handcuff value, add any of these over powell: michael/rid dick/starks/coleman?

    • Mike Hunt's Honorable Discharge says:
      (link)

@Mike Hunt’s Honorable Discharge: right when they say they “need” to use duke johnson more he’s barely used. this makes sense. at last tarbin isn’t taking from crowell anymore though, but it’s so late it’s not as if anybody could’ve actually started crowell though.

      • Mike Hunt's Honorable Discharge says:
        (link)

@Mike Hunt’s Honorable Discharge: first CLE game i’ve seen all year, and crowell looks good. Why they ever just didn’t let this guy run all day is beyond me.

      • Mike Hunt's Honorable Discharge says:
        (link)

@Jay: i’m actually very very lucky to have had a decent duke johnson day with how ugly manziel looked. good thing i dipped/dodged/ducked/dived and dodged and played m.jones over benjamin in one PPR league contra rankings. didn’t like benjamin without mccown, in road division game against good D, rookie with little prep time.

  53. Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: wow, CLE’s coach is so perfect for CLE coach, did they actually go out looking for guys who looked similar to bulldogs?

      • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
        (link)

@Jay: well, he ended up with 1 for 3, but 6 targets is nice. and in most weeks i’d be playing aiken/hopkins and only 1 out of m.wilson/gabriel/inman, unlike this week.

  54. Pugs&Slugs says:

    Hi Jay,

I’m in a 1-point PPR league. I need to get another WR (2 byes in week 11 and depth). I am also torn on which RB to play as my flex this week. Lastly, I was offered Kelce for either Woodhead or L. Murray. Here’s my team.

    QB: Brady
    RB1 Martin
    RB2 McFadden
    WR: A. Brown
    WR: Cooks
    TE: D. Walker
Flex: Woodhead (seems like a good bet for 6+ receptions)
    Bench:
    L. Murray
    Hillman
    CJ Anderson
    Desean. Jackson

    I appreciate your help.

  55. Cram It says:

Donnell is out. Seferian-Jenkins not looking good. If ASJ doesn’t play is there a clearly better play of Walford and Tye? Or does it not friggin matter because poop is poop?

    • Let us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
      (link)

@Cram It: went through almost same thing in a 20 teamer in first 3 weeks, got literally zero pts from three different TE’s while i waited for Gates. got lucky the 4th week i found close the barnidge.

      • Cram It says:
        (link)

@Let us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves: Yeah, I actually had Barnidge week 3 but let him go thinking it was a fluke and expecting ASJ or Ladarius Green to get healthy. Hell, I might just use TB’s backup TE if ASJ can’t go. At least he’ll start!

        • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
          (link)

@Cram It: i’m completely with you in thinking (for many weeks into it too) that barnidge was fluke, but since 20 teamer i can’t drop him, and certainly couldn’t before gates came back. Plus due to 20 teamer, playing both of gates/barnidge is now my best play most weeks.
