2013 RCL Football Well… All good things come to an end.  And if you were cheering for me to lose, then shame on you!  Because I had a legit shot at an upset before Aaron Rodgers got hurt last night.  But alas I fall to 8-1 and shockingly 4 of the 5 8-0 teams suffered their first loss this week.  That means, yes, Yes, YES, YESCHEESE (!!! sorry, RCLgasm) is the last undefeated team in RCL land, and will be atop the standings at 9-0.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Tons of big scoring this week in the RCLs with more teams surpassing 200 than ever before, and topping all of those teams was the Naysayer’s in the Monday Morning QB’s league, dropping knowledge and 216.68 points all over the RCL stratosphere.  Riley Cooper and T.Y. Hilton led the charge at WR with Keenan Allen also in the mix, then big games from Jason Campbell filling in for Kaepernick on the bye and Stevan Ridley has the Naysayer’s immortalized in RCL glory.  Even with Knowshon Moreno on a bye too!  Naysayer’s is still climbing out of a hole at 4-5, while the very tough kitchen stinks barely edged out Stick’m by 4 points to move to 8-1 and near the top of the RCL standings.

Razzball Writers League – Guru’s The Dirty Turban’s took me down this week, getting big games from Gio and Garcon.  My team has Aaron Rodgers, James Jones and Jordy Nelson, so yeah, Rodgers getting hurt right away really did deteriorate my team.  Hopefully he’s not out long.  Bet the Farm led us in scoring, beating poor Nick by 2 points and he had the second most points.  Nick falls to 1-8.  If Rodgers is out, I’ll have a tough time avoiding a two game skid against the Reign Maker$ in week 10.

JB’s Random Commenter League – Jack Full of Hate was full of points this week, racking up 196 with an unreal combo of Andre Johnson, Riley Cooper and T.Y. Hilton, that scored like, 250% of his points.  Jack gets above .500 at 5-4, I lose a tough one to go to 6-3 in 3rd, but the first place Green Bastards also lost and managed a ridiculous 51.78 points this week.  From a 7-1 team!  Sure Aaron Rodgers getting hurt and Calvin Johnson on bye didn’t help, but 51?!

Take On Jaywrong – Huge week from Jagen H’ghar with Andre Johnson and Jimmy Graham leading him to awesomeness.  Love that dude.  But the big matchup was last week’s top scoring Redeye Raiders who just came up short against Yeshcheese, who sits alone at 9-0.  Injuries couldn’t keep me up with ya!  Yeshcheese will look to go 10-0 against Rum Ham this week.

Take On Jaywrong 2 – Absolutely huge week from Sacremende’s Finest, who broke the 200-point barrier with 204.94 in an elite RCL game.  Unfortunately, the season as a whole has been disappointing as Sac moves to 2-7, but the big week from Andre and Chris Johnson has the Finest hoping for a late playoff push.  Then in a ridiculously close matchup, JayWrong’s Sisqo’s Other Hits beat Release the KRAKEN! by just under a point 154.94 – 154.00.  Even in the smack talk, Kraken is already crossing his fingers (or claws?  what does a Kraken have?  talons?) that a stat correction might save the day.  Either way, Kraken is still #1 in the league at 7-2.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Wheeden – King Daddy Crunch led the Wheedens this week, with 178 led by AJ and Gio.  Daddy gets to 6-3 and second in the league, while the Barking BassetHounds, while not constantly checking on their REL Hoops team, lost and moves to 7-2, but still is atop the league.

Razzball Rebels – In a big matchup amongst Rebels, Sex Cannons was able to put it in the Poon Jab for a 164-121 win.  Monster game from Andre Johnson led the Cannons to the highest points and beating a very tough Jab team.  Poon stays in first at 7-2 and will look to get back into the W column against the Baton Rouge Beavers this week.

Rancho Rajneesh – Another league where a 1-7 team picked up the most points to go to 2-7, the Van Buren Boys led the Rachos in scoring with 175 led by Andre Johnson and the big Brady bounceback.  In another huge RCL matchup, Mega Gronk SMASH! came through and upset the mighty ReadOptionForDummies who had been leading the RCL standings for multiple weeks, and suffered their first loss.  Nice work SMASH!  Peyton Manning on bye came at the worst moment for Read, and they’ll look to bounce back at fuller strength against Mountain Dew Kid this week.

Murphatron’s RCL – The Cheeseheads took down Murph Razzball this week with the most points in the league at 174, led by Andre J and Ridley.  Hopefully the Cheeseheads isn’t in a big depression after Rodgers got hurt!  The Feverish Beavers had another solid week, and moves to 7-2 as the best in the league.

The Shituation Room – A pretty spread week of scoring, as Heisenberg led the room with 153.88 points led by Hilton and CJMaybe1K.  Heisenberg moves to 5-4 and 5th place while One Potato Two moves into first at 6-3, leapfrogging the Manwich Men.

Hernandez Hit Men – I think more teams this week topped 200 than any other week, and welcome to the 200 club Peter’s Perfect Team!  With 209.26 points, it was a huge week led by Andre Johnson, Gio and Forte.  Peter goes to 5-4 and 5th while the team they vanquished, Cabello, moves down to 6-3 but stays atop the league.

Pabst & Razz – A surprisingly low scoring week in the Pabst league as no team topped 150, and the top scoring team was decided by 0.02 points!  Blah Blah Mustache narrowly edged out Turrible for top scoring honors (luckily they weren’t playing each other!) with 142.98 led by Andre J and Wilson.  Turrible also got a W and moves to 7-2 and atop the league.

A League of RCL Thrones – Big week from The Hound who led the Thrones in scoring (nice job following the league’s theme!) led by Gio and Adrian Peterson.  CreanNCrimson’s Team is looking more and more like an RCL Overall winning contender with another win this week, and will look to move to 9-1 against the Amish Mafia in week 10.

RCLBBWSVU – The Defenstrators took a bigger step in strangle-holding the top spot in the league, leading in points with 186.80 and moving to 7-2.  Big games from AJ and Stacy led to the big week, and over a 100 point win over Sheriff McRawDawg (love ya Sheriff! hope it’s going better so far in hoops!).

My Wife Frowns Upon This – The Crimson Extremes had a huge week in one of the RCL’s highest combined-scoring matchups against the very tough Sex Panther by Odeon.  Big weeks from AJ and Keenan Allen helped Crimson beat the Panther, even with Nick Foles in the lineup.  One I’d Willy survived a scare , winning by under 1.5 points and moving to 8-1.

Cracklin’ Brats RCL Big week from the Hang Dogs, with 179 led by AJ and Gio to move to 4-5 and 8th place.  Still plenty of time for a run!  And a very close battle resulting in a 0.14 win for Go Pack keeps them in first at 7-2.

Bobby Boucher’s Water Bottle – Straight Cash Homey was inches away from a 100 point win, but still gets a big week to lead the Bottles in scoring with 175 led by AP and Gronk.  Cash is still fighting towards .500 though at 4-5, with Dougie Fresh’s Team moving to 8-1 knocking off a very tough D-Town Stompers team that falls to 7-2.  Foster’s dud really killed any hope for D-Town.

The Podcast Kingdom – Despite a rough season, Bonzi led the Kingdom in scoring with AJ, Gronk and Brady leading them to a 178 point week.  They move to 3-6 while Hold moves to 8-1 and atop the standings.

Nick’s Bad JB Impersonation – Dude, Jack Full of Hate killing it!  Putting your articles on speed dial.  A huge 210.74 point week for an elite performance yet again.  Led by the core of Keenan Allen, Riley Cooper and Zac Stacy, team J-FOH moves to 5-4 and 4th after a ridiculous 120 point win.  Blunts and Fortes stays in first at 7-2.  Go easy on em Jack!

Any Given Sunday – Big week from the Horse Collars who led the Oliver Stone league with 163 points led by the historic Foles outing.  Horse gets to 6-3 and 4th while Its a sorgi orgy gets another W to move into first at 7-2.

Booty Hunters Unlimited – Two teams scored 187, with FootballinYourPants .46 short of Suck for Luck who led the scoring with 187.84.  Suck must be an Eagles fan with a core of Foles/DJax/McCoy and moves to 6-3 and third place.  Not sucking enough, Luck!  The big total for Pants moves them to 7-2 and tops of the standings.

The Razzbro League – 21 Graham led the Bros this week, getting big games from his namesake and CJPossibly1K.  Graham gets above .500 at 5-4 while the Scotch Fueled Guru stays in first despite suffering a Week 9 loss and dropping to 6-3.

The Shadynastys – Team Long!  Shall the entire universe sing of your praises and triumphs!  With a score of 161-140, Long knocked off Gtoxitis to tear down another of the formerly undefeateds.  Despite Gtox getting handed a gold mine from Andre Johnson, no one else could deliver and it’s welcome to the L column!  Gtox will look to bounce back against Sarah’s Team this week.

Razzball Experts League – The Gridiron Experts also tore down a previously undefeated, edging out the Rushmore Beekeepers by just under 3 points.  Rushmore lost Aaron Rodgers too, so it looked like a walk in the park, tough break.  Rushmore obviously will still be atop Sky’s league, while Sky’s Razzball squad suffered another loss… Been a brutal year in this one.

One More RCL – Last but not least, another RCL team to break into the elite class of 200ers, FillingAll’erF’oles (not sure who this was originally, but I know that’s a name change!) put up 203.72 led by, of course, Nick Foles and unlikely games from Aaron Dobson and Mike James as well.  The huge game takes Kobayashi Maru down to 7-2 and for the first time in a while out of first, with Devastation Squad Jr. moving to 8-1 and in sole position on top.

Shoot your RCL smack talk below and thanks again for joining the RCL Football Leagues this year. Good luck in week 10!
