210 teams in 21 leagues are vying for the Razzball Commenter League championship this season. Here is a page with links to all the leagues, plus a rundown of the settings we are using. You can also find a link to the 12-team Razzball Writer’s League, which is not part of the RCL, but should be interesting to follow. The Master Standings will be up in a week or 2, and will use a formula devised by Rudy to take into account the toughness of each league, so hopefully everyone will stay active throughout the season. So far I can tell you that the Fighting Texans (17 Razzles) have put the most points on the board (267.72) and are one of 46 undefeated teams. Egregiousity ¬†(Automatic Second Down) is next with just over 255, but are 1-1 after a tough loss to Frozen Banana in Week 2.

Bandits (Deez Razztastic Nuts) are perhaps the luckiest team with a perfect record despite scoring only 177.18 points. They trailed IAmTheOneWhoKnocks 77.40 – 74.76 going in to the Monday night Atlanta – Denver matchup. Each team had 1 player active, and the Bandits’ Eric Decker outscored Julio Jones 5.30 – 1.50 to secure the victory. On the other hand, Can of Corn (Razzles) have scored 40 more points, but are 0-2.

Romo Rooters (Razzball Hippie League) were the top scoring team in Week 1, beating the Yahoo projections by 44 points. Falcon teammates Matt Ryan and Julio Jones led the way with over 55 points, as Ryan passed for 3 TDs (2 to Jones) and rushed for another. Meanwhile, the defense of the Jets contributed 19 more, thanks to 4 turnovers and a couple of TDs.

The Fighting Texans set a new record in Week 2, just surpassing ¬†Romo Rooters’ Week 1 total. Victor Cruz and Vernon Davis were very impressive, combining for 43 points, 24 more than projected. Cruz had 179 receiving yards and a TD, while Davis scored twice on 73 yards in receptions.

Damn i was so close this week, I had 141.62 and that was with Jermichael Finley’s .60 and Marques Colston’s 4.90.

@Jack Full of Hate, Nice, 66-point win. Those guys knew you didn’t need them in that matchup.

@VinWins, HA!, I was very satisfied with the beat down, I was just trying to crack a razzball article instead of the comments section, I just want to “Be Somebody”, ala Steve Martin in the Jerk.
