Hello Razzballers! Less than a week until real football starts! And that means lots and lots of fake football at our end of the spectrum. This season we will have a weekly game here in Razzballtopia. One that I used to play in my early years of Sporting News. I remember Red Grange being my go to guy back then. So, the game goes a little something like this. You will pick the top fantasy quarterback, running back and wide receiver for each week. The winner will be the person whose three players total the most fantasy points for the week. We will be using standard ESPN scoring to determine the points.
The winner each week will receive a subscription to Fantasy Football Crystal Ball which gathers weekly rankings from many different sites (including ours truly) and lets you filter through them to help you pick your lineups. It’s a nifty little doo-dad. This game is completely free to play so I hope you guys will do what you do with the picking and the writing in the comments. Or in English, for week 1 of the NFL season please write in the comments, your predictions for best QB/RB/WR. The tiebreaker will always be the total points for the Monday night game. And since there are two this week, we’ll go with the San Diego/Kansas City game.
Example: QB: Matt Leinart RB: Julius Jones WR: Sidney Rice, SD/KC: 134 total points
Your entry will not be counted if you put “Manning” or “Williams.” Make sure to put full names to avoid any confusion.
So get to your necromancy or soothsaying or whatever it is that you do!
