Happy Thanksgiving season to you and yours! We are in week 12 and if you’re still reading this column that means you are likely still alive in your fantasy football playoff hunt! Hopefully you’re reading this because you’re making your playoff push or fighting for a high seed and want to keep winning. Regular seasons are ending and this could be a win and in week for you so let’s get you a couple of solid flex players to use in your lineup this week. That is exactly why I write this column, to help you make these tough decisions and win your weeks!

As you know, every Thursday here on Razzball, I will be posting the weeks “Sexy Flexies” to give you a couple of players to consider starting in your flex spot. The objective isn’t to point out the obvious guys you’re starting in your RB or WR slots, but to take a look at a couple of players who are a bit more under the radar. These will likely be guys that you won’t start every week but will be good rotational pieces in the flex spot of your lineup based on matchup and opportunity.

What I do here is look at the matchups and opportunities and highlight for you a couple of guys who I believe will perform in the situation they are in for the given week. For this column, we will be looking at players who are ranked 60th or later at the flex position for the week, according to Fantasy Pros Consensus Ratings, but will still get you double digit fantasy points in your flex spots. Let’s take a look at the players who will be the “Sexy Flexies” for week 11!

Jakobi Meyers – WR – New England Patriots – vs Arizona

Since week 7 we have seen Meyers establish himself as a go-to guy for Cam Newton in the Patriots offense. The offense as a whole was struggling to find any rhythm and it started to look a lot better once Newton and Meyers started clicking. Meyers had 4 straight double digit fantasy performances from week 7 thru week 10 but only managed 7 last week. I believe that game was just a speed bump as Meyers say a lot of coverage from Bradley Roby and Cam took advantage of the matchups against the other, weaker corners. Newton and Meyers will get back on track this week.

The Patriots play host to the Arizona Cardinals who have a high-powered offense and put up points. The Patriots will likely be playing from behind and will have to use the passing game to try to keep up with the Kyler Murray led offense of Arizona. The Patriots lost Rex Burkhead, who takes some targets away from the receivers, so there are a few more available targets for Meyers this week as well. The Cardinals defense has struggled a bit in the secondary lately and has allowed multiple wide receivers to finish with 12 or more ppr points over the past 3 games. I look for this to continue with Meyers catching at least 6 balls in this contest and adding the yardage to make him a solid double digit flex option for you.

Jalen Reagor – WR – Philadelphia Eagles – vs Seattle

Since his return from injury, Jalen Reagor has been a reliable and steady option in the Eagles passing game. Right before the bye week he scored his first touchdown and then came out of the bye with back to back 9 fantasy point performances. What I liked was the consistency as he caught 8 of 12 balls thrown his way for 99 yards. What I didn’t like was how Carson Wentz and the offense has struggled as a whole. Reagor is an explosive young receiver who the Eagles see as a big part of their plans for the future and if they want to continue to contend for this division he needs to be involved.

This week they face the Seahawks who have a very vulnerable secondary. Wide receivers have accounted for a 66% target share against Seattle this season, the highest percentage in the league. In the 10 games the Seahawks have played this season, 25 wide receivers have finished in the top 50 in fantasy points that week. This is a plus matchup for Reagor in a game that the Eagles will have to throw the ball to try to stay with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks to make it competitive. I look for Wentz to look his way often in this one and I project Reagor for 6 for 70 and a touchdown to help you to victory this week!

As always, lets crush this week and hopefully these Sexy Flexies will help you get some wins. Both players have great double-digit point upside and should have significant roles in their team’s game plan this week.
