Arizona Cardinals
- In the 2nd week with no Trey Benson (and no James Conner), Zonovan “Bam” Knight (51%) lead the team in snaps slightly over Michael Carter (44%). Emari Demarcado had only 3 snaps, but also left the game in the 2nd quarter. Bam is dealing with a knee issue. If I had to start a Cardinals RB, it’d be Michael Carter.
- Marvin Harrison Jr. left the game in the 2nd quarter for a concussion. Zay Jones lead the team in snaps (79%), out snapping Michael Wilson (75%) for the first time this season. Greg Dortch (44%) and Simi Fehoko (12%) both got in the game as well.
Atlanta Falcons
- With no Darnell Mooney and no Ray-Ray McCloud, it was Casey Washington (80%) and David Sills V (44%) getting snaps.
Baltimore Ravens
- With no Lamar Jackson, Cooper Rush got the start and played most of the game, but Tyler Huntley also made it in the game. While it seemed like a possible benching, Huntley also was reverted back to the practice squad. Likely doesn’t matter as the Ravens are on bye this week and LJax is expected back in week 8.
- Derrick Henry had his first promising game since week 1, yet he also was under 50% snaps for the 2nd time this year. The game got out of hand, but Justice Hill was only 3 snaps behind King Henry.
- Zay Flowers is the clear WR1 (91%). After Flowers, Rashod Bateman had the 2nd most snaps, but he also dropped from 81% in week 5 to 56% in week 6. DeAndre Hopkins had his most snaps of the season with 26 (33%), which could be a sign that the Ravens intend to use the veteran moving forward, or it could be that he’s just a better blocker than Bateman in a run heavy game script.
Buffalo Bills
- In an unusual, play from behind game script, James Cook saw his fewest snaps (30) and snap rate (53%) while Ty Johnson got his highest snap rate at 42%. Ray Davis saw all of 2 snaps.
- After missing the start of the game for disciplinary reasons, Keon Coleman then played 86% of the snaps. Khalil Shakir stayed as WR2 (60%), but Tyrell Shavers saw his snap count jump to 49%, which was his highest of the season by far. Elijah Moore saw 25% while pre-season darling Josh Palmer had an ankle injury and played only 11%.
- With no Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox played 81% of snaps while Jackson Hawes from 54%. Knox and Kincaid have been splitting snaps (more than any Kincaid owners want to see) all season.
Carolina Panthers
- Rico Dowdle was 2nd in snaps taken (59) and 4th in snap rate (88%) for week 6. I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more Dowbell. Unfortunately, we’ll have to see how the split looks this week as it seems Chuba Hubbard may return.
- Tetairoa McMillan is the WR1 and Xavier Legette the WR2. After them, it’s fairly even distribution between Hunter Renfrow (27%), Brycen Tremayne (34%), and Jimmy Horn Jr. (21%).
Chicago Bears
- Rome Odunze, DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus are the top 3 WRs. I like Luther Burden III for dynasty (nice buy low potential), but he’s the clear WR 4 for the Bears right now.
- Colston Loveland returned and was out snapped by Cole Kmet by 6 snaps. Both are TD flyers at best while they’re splitting time.
Cincinnati Bengals
- Article is coming out after the Thursday night game. Not going to just say stuff and be wrong already. Come on.
- Are they still giving Chase Brown just a little more than 50% of the work?
Cleveland Browns
- Quinshon Judkins disappointed for the first time and he and Jerome Ford split snaps evenly and Dylan Sampson took some (18%) as well.
- With David Njoku leaving the game, Harold Fannin Jr. becomes the primary TE and a not uninteresting streamer with Njoku misses.
Dallas Cowboys
- Jalen Tolbert (91%) actually out snapped George Pickens (84%). The return of CeeDee looms for Jalen Tolbert’s playing time. Ryan Flournoy was WR3 (69% – giggity) in week 6.
Denver Broncos
- Courtland Sutton is the WR1 and Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant are splitting WR2 snaps. Marvin Mims and Trent Sherfield battling for WR4 snaps.
- The tight ends are still a mess with Engram leading at (47%), but Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins both got 38% of the snaps.
Detroit Lions
- After a boost in week 5 for David Montgomery, he fell back into clear RB2 status with 31% snaps to Jahmyr Gibbs 69% (giggity).
- Kalif Raymond, not this year, again.
Green Bay Packers
- Dontayvion Wicks left the game with an ankle injury and Matthew Golden became the clear WR2 in his absence where the two WRs had been splitting WR2 duties.
Houston Texans
- Take what you want from this game as it was a blowout…Woody Marks (39%) leads the team in snaps for the 2nd straight week, but barely, with Nick Chubb (34%) and Dameon Pierce (23%) getting work as well.
- Nico Collins got some extra rest with Xavier Hutchinson (67%), Jayden Higgins (56%), and Christian Kirk (49%) all getting reps.
Indianapolis Colts
- Josh Downs is dealing with a concussion. Alec Pierce was the WR who stepped up in week 6. Ashton Dulin seems like he has the lead for WR3 work is Downs misses.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- With no Brenton Strange, it was Hunter Long that got the primary TE work.
Kansas City Chiefs
- Rashee Rice returns and supposedly they aren’t planning on easing him in, but we’ll see. Xavier Worthy has lead the team in snaps the last 2 weeks with JuJu Smith-Schuster being the WR2, Hollywood Brown as WR3 and Tyquen Thornton getting some scraps.
LA Chargers
- With no Omarion Hampton, it was Kimani Vidal (67%) getting the majority of the snaps over Hassan Haskins (31%). Who knew Nyheim Hines (2% aka 1 snap) was still playing?
- Signs of life from Ladd McConkey (70%) finally, but a random Tre’ Harris (83%) snap lead. To be faaaaaairrrr, the Chargers were up big for most of the game. Quentin Johnston seems like he’ll be back this week to retake co-WR1, snaps wise, with Ladd.
- Oronde Gadsen got his season high in snaps/snap rate. A little interesting.
LA Rams
- Jordan Whittington (92%) lead the team in snaps following the Puka Nacua ankle injury. Tutu Atwell should be back this week to work in if Puka misses. Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith fighting over breadcrumbs.
- Even with no clear competition, Tyler Higbee splitting snaps with Davis Allen and the returning from concussion, Colbby Parkinson.
Las Vegas Raiders
- Jack Bech (75%) may have finally cemented himself as the WR3.
- In his return, Michael Mayer (92%) was the primary TE with no Brocks Bowers. :(
Miami Dolphins
- After Jaylen Waddle (81%), it was Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (63%), Malik Washington (44%), and Dee Eskridge (20%).
- Darren Waller (69%) lead the team in TE snaps for the 2nd straight week over Julian Hill (64%).
Minnesota Vikings
- Jordan Mason (66%%) has stayed around the 60% range all season, and lead the team in snaps even before the Aaron Jones injury. Zavier Scott (22%) likely irrelevant whenever A-Jo returns.
- Justin Jefferson (100%), Jordan Addison (75%), Jalen Nailor (65%), and then… Adam Thielen (22%).
New England Patriots
- TreVeyon Henderson (30%). Sad Face.
- Kayshon Boutte (67%), Stefon Diggs (59%), Mack Hollins (55%)…Demario Douglas (25%), Kyle Williams (22%).
New Orleans Saints
- Alvin Kamara (63%) and Kendre Miller (39%) are the only ones here getting work. Perhaps a showcase week for AK though.
- Chris Olave (88%) is WR1, Rashid Shaheed (61%) and Brandin Cooks (64%) are splitting WR2 and Devaughn Vele (32%) gets the rest of the story.
- Still the Juwan Johnson (71%) show at TE even with the 2nd week of Forster Moreau (36%).
New York Giants
- Cam Skattebo (74%) and Tyrone Tracy (32%) aren’t leaving much for Devin Singletary (6%).
- If everyone is out after Wan’Dale Robinson, Lil’ Jordan Humphrey, Beaux Collins, and Gunner Olszewski would be up, I guess. Yikes
- Theo Johnson (94%) getting all the work that he can handle. It’s going to happen, right?
New York Jets
- Josh Reynolds (88%) and Arian Smith (60%) look to lead the way with Tyler Johnson maybe getting some work, although it sounds like Allen Lazard will be back from his personal matter.
- Mason Taylor (96%). If the Jets get a new QB… it’s still probably not overly interesting.
Philadelphia Eagles
- You know what’s going on here. At least snaps wise. Jahan Dotson is the clear WR3.
Pittsburgh Steelers
- They’re playing before this article comes out. I’m not going to be dumb and say stupid stuff. Lot of splitting work at RB last week… that’s it, that’s all I’ll say.
San Francisco 49ers
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling (61%) was the WR3 behind Kendrick Bourne (80%) and Jauan Jennings (77%) after Demarcus Robinson (19%) lead the team in week 5
Seattle Seahawks
- If you can explain to me what Zach Charbonnet (60%) does better than Kenneth Walker III (35%), that’d be grrrreeeeaaaaaaattt. But Charb continues to lead in snaps.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Without Bucky Irving, it is the Rachaad White (77%) show.
- Tez Johnson (72%) lead the team in snaps. Sterling Shepard (49%), the injured Emeka Egbuka (53%), and Kamerson Johnson (49%) split work. Ran Miller still can’t crack 25% snap rate.
Tennessee Titans
- Tyjae Spears (59%) lead the team in RB snaps over Tony Pollard (43%).
- After Calvin Ridley left the game in week 6, Epic Ayomanor (93%) lead the team in snaps with Van Jefferson being the biggest beneficiary (74%).
Washington Commanders
- Bill (Jacory Corskey-Merritt 66%) had his season high in snaps/snap rate. Jeremy McNicholas (32%) is the only other RB that got more than 3 snaps.
- WRs here are the same they’ve been. Deebo Samuel(72%), Chris Moore (68%)….. Jaylin Lane (42%), and Luke McCaffrey (38).
