Good afternoon to my very few dedicated followers.  I regret to inform you that this will be my last streamer post of the year… I hope that I have steered you in the right direction, more often than not, during the course of the season.  This is not a time for sadness, but a time for rejoicing.  For the closing of the fantasy football season summons the beginning of the fantasy baseball season, in which Grey will entertain us with his daily quips.  It’s just around the corner, folks, and many sleepers have already been posted, so get yourself over to the baseball page immediately!  Also, thanks to all the commenters for your input this season.  It’s been fun.  Don’t hesitate to connect with me on Twitter either.  Anywho, we’re here for football, so luckily, that’s what I’m going to give you.   Championship Week streamers here we come:

Quarterbacks

Blake Bortles (7%) v TEN : As many of you know, Tennessee’s defense has been struggling mightily.  The Jaguars haven’t lit it up offensively, but this is a good matchup for Bortles.  Consider Bortles a safer stream with upside.

Alex Smith (38%) @ PIT: Smith will be facing a decent pass rush this week, but I still think he’s one of the more consistent quarterbacks available.  You know what you’re getting when you plug him in.  Boringness.  I would not expect a career day out of Smith, but if you need your QB to just not drop a stinker, Smith seems like the safest stream for that purpose.

Robert Griffin III (35%) v PHI: Although the division rivalry always makes me uneasy, Griffin III definitely has the highest upside out of widely unowned QB’s.  He also has the highest risk tied to him.  If you need a big gamble, grab Griffin III, but if you want to avoid a heart attack this weekend, leave him for some other mope.

Tight Ends

Jared Cook (30%) v NYG: With the TE free agent market being so light these days, Cook offers the best value of anyone available.  He had a down game last Thursday, but so did the entire Rams team, so I expect this week to be different.  Cook is a safe stream on Sunday.

Owen Daniels (39%) @ HOU: The Ravens don’t have a great matchup this Sunday, but with the tough Houston pass rush, I think Flacco will be checking down quite a bit.  Daniels offers the next best value at the tight end position after Cook.

Defense & Special Teams

Jacksonville (3%) v TEN: This is a true matchup play against a severely struggling offense.  It’s a risky move on Thursday night, but you’re not looking at much better on the wire.

Kickers

Josh Scobee (1%) v TEN: While he won’t hit his mark from last week, Scobee will most likely get plenty of chances to kick Thursday night.

Matt Bryant (35%) @ NO: I fully expect a shootout in New Orleans, and Bryant is still a good kicker.  The points should come this week.

Matt Prater (28%) v CHI: Chicago has just been awful against kickers in fantasy, and Prater has been averaging over 9.5 points per game as Detroit’s starter.  Consider him a safe stream this week.
