After just one week of live reps, there are some monumental risers and fallers in the dynasty landscape. It’s a minimal sample size, but a lot can be deduced from things like Aaron Rodgers tearing an Achilles. I can and will speak on every player on this list eventually. We are just getting started, folks, and Week 2 is coming in hot.

Who stands out to you? Leave a comment below, and let’s talk rankings and trades, friends.

Player: Calvin Ridley

Preseason Rank: 79

Current Rank: 41

In week one against the Colts, Ridley was targeted 11 times and racked up eight catches, totaling 101 yards and one touchdown. Ridley immediately looked like his vintage, dominant self. Jacksonville looked to get him going early and make him the offense’s focal point. His route running still looks elite; he is fast and still very much a dangerous playmaker. You can easily see the chemistry and trust that he inherently has with Trevor Lawrence. I have been calling for that 2020 top-five season this year for Ridley, and week one strongly confirmed this sentiment.

Stance: Very bullish. Where I have Ridley, I am not moving him easily at all. Aside from a full-blown stripped-to-the-studs rebuild, he is an excellent addition to all builds. Starting with a 2024 first-rounder is likely what it will take.

Player: Brock Purdy

Preseason Rank: 96

Current Rank: 67

It is abundantly clear that the 49ers are an absolute wagon on both sides of the ball. Remember that this was an East Coast 1:00 road game against a tough defensive front. Purdy shined, completing 19 of 29 passes, 220 yards, two passing touchdowns, and a completion percentage of 65.5. He threw some ill-advised balls, and Aiyuk saved his bacon on the back shoulder touchdown when it simply was not there. San Francisco had this game in hand from the start and was still pretty aggressive. I can’t wait to see Purdy in a shootout matchup.

Stance: I am interested in acquiring Purdy but not breaking the draft capital bank. His price will continue to spike quickly at this pace of play. This offense is absolutely loaded, and the Niners have gone out of their way to show us he is “their guy.” If you need a quarterback, I would try offering two 2024 2nd rounders before I let a 1st go. I believe in Purdy and, more importantly, Kyle Shanahan, so I would move a 2024 first-rounder to acquire him now.

Player: Daniel Jones

Preseason Rank: 31

Current Rank: 82

After Monday night’s debacle, Daniel Jones plummets down my rankings. I get it; it was the Dallas defense with the elite Micah Parsons, but seriously? Two interceptions, taking seven sacks, and passing for 104 yards will never even come close to cutting it to winning a game, let alone a division. I am a tremendous supporter of Brian Daboll since his impact on Josh Allen specifically, and I believed in the Giants offense last year when many did not. I drafted Jones in the 13th round of startups in 2022. This year, he was drafted early fourth-mid fifth round. His value lies somewhere in the middle, like a ninth-round startup pick. My stark ranking drop of Jones is an indictment of him just not being very good, throwing rushing upside and the brilliance of Daboll out the window.

Stance: Firm hold unless the offer is right. I am not looking to acquire, but where I roster Jones, he is my QB3, and I’m not about to sell off a terrible performance at a discount. However, he puts together a few good games. I’d also move him in a QB tier-up/down package with 2024 draft picks. If someone offered a “sure-fire” early 2024 first round, I’d take it for Jones.
