Week 6 is upon us and we have some exciting games this week with some involving divisional rivals and others involving high powered offenses. This week I’m going to take a look at the best streamers and list different options for you to potentially pick up and start while your players are on byes. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Sometimes you’re the dog — sometimes you’re the hydrant. Ben Roethlisberger was one of my QB sit recommendations last week and this week he is my first QB start recommendation. Last week I recommended you start 49ers WR Marquise Goodwin and this week I want nothing to do with anyone on offense for San Francisco. What a difference a week makes!

Week 2 Review
In the interest of full disclosure I’m going to review some of my good and bad calls each week. I have no shame in admitting when I’ve made a bad call — if I was right 100% of the time I’d be living like Biff Tannen!
Start Philip Rivers: 17.9 points
Sit Isaiah Crowell: 3.7 points
Sit Pierre Garcon: 5.6 points
Sit Patriots D/ST: -2 points
Start Jared Goff: 10.9 points
Sit Carlos Hyde: 17.3 points
Sit Dez Bryant: 18.9 points
Sit Travis Kelce: 24.3 points
Week 2 had some mixed results, but I’m confident in my start/sit picks for this week:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. The monotony of repetition quickly bores me. For the last ten weeks I have been writing the same post. Different players, same game. Well today I’m saying f-ck it and I’m zigging when I normally zag. They’ve sent in a run play, but I’m calling an audible and throwing the ball down field. If I’m putting my cards on the table, the last four times I’ve done this I’ve thrown three incomplete passes and an interception.
For those that are actually looking for my weekly waiver wire lineup of misfits, I’d hate to disappoint. These guys combined for 177.94 points. I was going to say that they combined for 206.24 points and see if any of you actually bothered to check my math. I’m betting that no one would have caught on.Please, blog, may I have some more?
One of the most difficult words to say in the English language has five letters and starts with an ‘s’. Any guesses? You could go in a multitude of directions here, and before you take it down the avenue that garners a solid (not the word) ‘That’s what she said’ from Michael Scott (also not the word), let me just try to get this out.
So…wait. (Exhale). Ok, deep breathe. Let’s try again.
Sor…nope! Not easy. Just simply too much pride in the male ego. But we can do this. If Justin Bieber can sing an entire song about it, I got this.
SORRY. (Cue fireworks, confetti, streamers, balloons and kazoos). Man, I feel a little better now. Do you?
Truth is, the past two weeks on this little advice column have been quite poopy. Call it bad luck, of which a large dose of fantasy football is comprised of, or just bad math, either way it hasn’t been pretty. Each week my goal is to give you great options to compile the best lineup for a 22-man league in FanDuel. Why?
Each week we offer a 22-man Razzball-only FanDuel Contest that pays out the top-5 finishers! Think you’re good enough to operate beyond just luck and work your way to the top of the standings? It takes a lot to beat an opponent. Beating many? Even harder. No, we’re not talking hundreds or thousands of competitors, but when faced with the task of topping dozens of potential victors decision-making becomes all the more crucial. Luck drops so that wisdom can rise. There’s a proper description for that, but rather than write it out I thought I’d let ol’ President Dubya narrow it down to one word.
Eeeexactly. Strategery. And you’ll need a lot of it to win a 55-man league in DFS. Listen, fantasy football is filled with luck. In my completely uneducated opinion thrown about all willy-nilly, I’d presume around 54% of fantasy football is luck. However, there’s a reason that the same people continually compete in your leagues and rake in stacks through daily fantasy. Ingenuity. Resourcefulness. Persistence. Which, once again, is encompassed by the word: strategery (quit trying to auto-correct my spelling, damn it!).
