Poor Daniel Jones can’t catch a break. The Giants can’t even let the other team lose properly! On Thursday Night Football, with the world watching, the Giants quarterback rose to the occasion and played one of his best games that I can remember. The New York Giants had several opportunities to put the game away, but penalties, receiving blunders and an inexcusable special teams debacle handed the Washington Football Team the win in the closing seconds. Overall, it was a good game with 5 lead changes including a back-and-forth 4th quarter and a game winning field goal on the last play.

Last week I recommended you start 49ers WRÂ Marquise Goodwin and this week I want nothing to do with anyone on offense for San Francisco. What a difference a week makes!

Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. The monotony of repetition quickly bores me. For the last ten weeks I have been writing the same post. Different players, same game. Well today I’m saying f-ck it and I’m zigging when I normally zag. They’ve sent in a run play, but I’m calling an audible and throwing the ball down field. If I’m putting my cards on the table, the last four times I’ve done this I’ve thrown three incomplete passes and an interception.
For those that are actually looking for my weekly waiver wire lineup of misfits, I’d hate to disappoint. These guys combined for 177.94 points. I was going to say that they combined for 206.24 points and see if any of you actually bothered to check my math. I’m betting that no one would have caught on.

One of the most difficult words to say in the English language has five letters and starts with an ‘s’. Any guesses? You could go in a multitude of directions here, and before you take it down the avenue that garners a solid (not the word) ‘That’s what she said’ from Michael Scott (also not the word), let me just try to get this out.
So…wait. (Exhale). Ok, deep breathe. Let’s try again.
Sor…nope! Not easy. Just simply too much pride in the male ego. But we can do this. If Justin Bieber can sing an entire song about it, I got this.

It takes a lot to beat an opponent. Beating many? Even harder. No, we’re not talking hundreds or thousands of competitors, but when faced with the task of topping dozens of potential victors decision-making becomes all the more crucial. Luck drops so that wisdom can rise. There’s a proper description for that, but rather than write it out I thought I’d let ol’ President Dubya narrow it down to one word.
Eeeexactly. Strategery. And you’ll need a lot of it to win a 55-man league in DFS. Listen, fantasy football is filled with luck. In my completely uneducated opinion thrown about all willy-nilly, I’d presume around 54% of fantasy football is luck. However, there’s a reason that the same people continually compete in your leagues and rake in stacks through daily fantasy. Ingenuity. Resourcefulness. Persistence. Which, once again, is encompassed by the word: strategery (quit trying to auto-correct my spelling, damn it!).
