I know, everyone is sweating this situation in Pittsburgh. We have this running back who puts up monumental numbers, and he hasn’t even sniffed the field this off season. How will the Steelers, let alone the droves of fantasy owners, replace this guy? You don’t find guys who averaged 22.78 points per start in 2016 […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
It seems I have a thing for Rams and people named Chris when I do these sleeper posts as I gave you Chris Ivory and Sam Bradford earlier this month. Don’t take that statement about Rams as a bestiality thing, BTW. The only animals I’d go after are the kind Tom Brady married. They’ve got cool horns! But enough about this, I’m here now to talk a bit about a man. A man we don’t all know but should love. What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets?!? Woah, going Symphony of the Night on me there, are you imaginary reader? It’s summer and I’ve been playing the classics. You’re young enough to call a game made in the late 90’s a classic…now I’m sad…but enough about video game nostalgia, I’m here to talk to you about Chris Givens and why he’ll be a sleeper for 2013 Fantasy Football…Please, blog, may I have some more?
As I sit here watching another episode of Fringe on Netflix – please don’t disappoint me like you did with Lost, J.J. Abrams! – it comes to my attention that a lot happens around us that we don’t notice or analyze for what it is. We go about our merry way, oblivious to the changes going on around us. Well for that reason, you can shave my whole body and call me The Observer because I’m witnessing something that seems to be drifting under the radar of most fantasy footballers. It’s happening in St Louis and hopefully it happens on your team for this season. I speak of none other than Sam Bradford. I know, much maligned and a ne’er do well on the lips of many who’ve drafted him in the past but I see a brighter future for the 2013 Fantasy Football season and beyond. Follow the typed word into the next paragraph if you wish to know more or run in fear from the unknown of which I’m about to lay upon you…Please, blog, may I have some more?
Where have I seen this name before? *Riffles thru notes* Ah here it is! Hrm, that’s nice and all but I seem to remember seeing it somewhere else… *Riffles thru more notes* Ah yes here, I knew the title of this post sounded familiar. BTW, do you know the difference between ‘riffle’ and ‘rifle’? I didn’t until today and now I have something to talk about at the next fantasy football expert cocktail party:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Fantasy drafts are happening all over the place and yours may be this weekend. Or maybe you’re planning on doing your 12th fantasy draft this weekend because you have a fantasy football addiction like me. It’s a common affliction this time of year. Whether it’s your first draft or your 12th draft, the late rounds […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Nothing beats a rambling preamble. By the time the tumbleweed stopped tumbling, Sam Elliot wrapped up his narration, and the Dude finished paying for his milk with a check for 69 cents, you knew you were about to witness greatness. Circumnavigating the fantasy football world, you come across a lot of bizarre characters. (When did […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
I was asked by my main man Marv who I thought was flying under the radar in the 7th and 8th rounds this season. It’s hard for me to see anyone actually flying under the radar since I am so ingrained in fantasy talk and research every day (this is not something to be proud […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Raiders have been the butt of many jokes the last few seasons and rightfully so. And I don’t see them becoming a contender anytime soon, but I do see them improving with Jason Campbell leading the way. Yes, JC wasn’t wanted by an awful Redskins team, but they had their sights set on McNabb […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
