The time has come for all fantasy owners dreams. The “Fantasy Super Bowl”. If you were fortunate to make it this far, obviously you should keep doing whatever got you to this point but for this week I have some streamers that would potentially help out your lineup. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Congratulations everyone! You have passed the first grueling test. After thirteen weeks of non-stop ascent, we’ve reached a clearing where we can all exhale and stretch those weary bones. Grab a mug of tea and admire just how far we’ve come. We used to squabble over whether Chris Godwin and Mike Evans could both be top 10 WRs. Some of us thought it was wise to draft Antonio Brown. Some of us thought Josh Gordon was a league winner. Please, blog, may I have some more?
The running back stash/wheel of death continues this week; I’m sensing a trend, maybe you’ve noticed? Early weeks, wide receivers were the dominant adds; now, its survival of the fittest running backs. So there are three wideouts I’d bid on this week and a bunch of RBs that may or may not help. Some should’ve been added prior weeks. There are even a couple of Tight Ends, which if you’ve been reading has been really tough to pin down which TE will hit each week. Please, blog, may I have some more?
First, I’d like to say I hope the counsel of the Waiver Sherpa helped keep you warm during these cold nights. If you don’t make it past next week, I am thankful you have chosen me to be your guide during the 2019 season. Now, onto business! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Holiday weather is here, folks! The entire East coast was one big wind storm and it greatly affected the game play. The scores were low, kickers were missing a bunch of kicks and quarterback play was way down in that part of the country. Even Russell Wilson struggled to get anything going. We will see more and more of this as we head into the fantasy playoffs. With weather becoming more of a factor, it makes the lineup decisions a bit more complicated on a week to week basis. It helps to have drafted good running backs early in the draft. I’m talking directly to you zero RB truthers out there. Let’s get to what I saw during the early games on Sunday, starting with the quickest and least exciting game of them all in Buffalo. Please, blog, may I have some more?
The air is getting thinner and thinner as we ascend to the fabled peak of fantasy football. The week 11 wire is one of the slimmest all season and there aren’t many guys I would be excited about adding. I hope you all have been storing away sustenance to get through the next 2 major bye weeks.
It will continue to be a slog until the contenders have been separated from the amateurs and life is renewed in week 14. Hang in there even if you’re sitting at 4-6. As long as 7-6 is possible, keep the dream alive my friends! Please, blog, may I have some more?
Few people know why the Packers are called “Cheeseheads.” It’s tradition: the worst Packer performer from the previous week is bestowed with a chunk of stinky Limburger cheese which is stuffed into the bottom of their helmet for the following game. In week 9, Aaron Jones took 8 carries for 30 yards and hauled in 1 catch for -1 yards. Needless to say, he was Mr. Limburger for their week 10 game against Carolina and their dairy boy tracked down an extra stinky piece of cheese for this contest. This wedge of stank carried such a putrid scent that the Panthers defense gave the Packer running back a little extra space to roam on Sunday afternoon. Aaron Jones took full advantage, rumbling for 93 yards and 3 touchdowns on 13 carries—he now has an impressive 14 touchdowns on the season. Rest of Season Player Rater has him listed as RB#10 and I’d even bump him a couple spots higher. Anyway, here’s what else I saw during yesterday’s late games in fantasy football:Please, blog, may I have some more?

Week 2 is in the past, and we have a somewhat clearer picture of what teams want to do. The Dolphins want to suck. The Patriots want to win another Super Bowl and apparently Dallas wants to play defense to go with their offense. With this in mind, we look at some move which you should consider making in hopes of cashing in on some of these trends. Whether it be selling a player before they lose value or buying early. Here are some moves you can make to get yourself, hopefully, to the playoffs in your fantasy leagues. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Donkey and B_Don are back this week, goin’ deep on new Steelers’ quarterback Mason Rudolph. After breaking down the film from Rudolph’s second half performance against Seattle this past week, the guys take a look at how the fantasy relevant Steelers will be impacted. Is this a chance to buy low on early round studs JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner? Will Vance McDonald continue to thrive with the youngster Rudolph at the helm? Are any of Donte Moncrief, James Washington, or Diontae Johnson worth rostering? Tune in and find out.
