I’ve been talking about this since last season and I’m sure no doubt you’ve heard about it plenty this off-season as well. Arian Foster went over the 400 touch mark in 2012, finishing the playoffs with 460 total on the season. Now there are great achievements you want your running backs to unlock over the course of the season. You love it when they clear 1000 yards rushing. It’s great when they clear the 10 touchdown total as well. But joining the Misfortune 400 List isn’t exactly something to strive for as history can attest to. Consider this a pre-draft warning that Foster is going to carry a lot more risk in 2013 than many will assume. To find out what I mean by this, pretend I’m the ghost of fantasy football season’s yet to come and you’re Ebenezer Scrooge as we journey into what the future might hold for Arian for 2013 fantasy football…but wait, there’s more! But not about Arian, this is about Facebook. In particular the Razzball Facebook page. For many years, we couldn’t stand each other. We just HAD to have a different Facebook page for each sport and we were spreading the love thin. Well, now you can go to one place on the Facebook interwebs to get your Razzball lovin cuz like a human centipede, we’ve merged into one page! That exclamation was for excitement not sarcasm! Ok a little sarcasm but mostly excitement! So if you could, mosey on over to that Razzball Facebook link and caress it, hold it, love it, and lick the screen. After all that, all we really wanted was a ‘Like’ from you and a ‘follow’ if you’re in the mood for such things. We don’t ask much…ok, we will ask for one more thing. You see that big mural of how we’ll work for fantasy sports? Yeah, like that too. Maybe if you’re lucky, we’ll even let you poke us…woah, we meant on Facebook! Ok, now on with the fantasy sports…Please, blog, may I have some more?
Hola gang. Here are some quick target hits from week eleven. Eleventh Heaven Joe McKnight-McKnight earned himself a seat at the roundtable Thursday night with his 121 total yard performance (59 on ground, 62 through the air on six receptions). His role certainly increased with Tomlinson sidelined but when he got his opportunity,McKnight ran with […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Week 5 didn’t hurt too bad. We’ve lost LeGarrette Blount and Julio Jones for a while, but they’ll be back. The most significant loss was Josh Morgan, who was really starting to play well the past couple of weeks. He’s now done for the year with a leg injury. Of course there were a few […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Hola Razzballians. We are finally starting to settle in to the NFL season. At this point you should be expecting some trends to develop, but many trenders were tarnished in week three (see the law office of Green,Davis, Simpson, Burleson, and Branch). Trying to predict what will happen in this crazy fake sport is like […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
(EDIT: Here are the most up to date rankings –> Auction Values, Tiers and Cheat Sheet for PPR – http://su.pr/A17UuB NonPPR – http://su.pr/9DEgIM) Here are the PPR Rankings for Running Backs. For some reason the running backs who have more receptions are the ones that score more points here. Weird. Here are the rankings. Be […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
(Doc’s note: First off I’d like to thank everyone for sending in entries for the first round. I had an extremely difficult and rewarding time narrowing these down. As the chief honcho here at Razzball and a nerdy English professor, I found good stuff in every entry and feel like all of you have the […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
It’s always a good idea to draft for value in fantasy drafts. Seems obvious, right? Yeah, it is. I like being obvious sometimes, obviously. This here is a list of a few players that have some nice fantasy value this year based on their Average Draft Position (ADP). It would be a wise move on […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Bengals are a hot mess and even though they will suck next year they need to just cut bait on Palmer, Ocho and TO. Draft and rebuild. It’s not like they are going to be any good with those crap bags still on the team. Trade Palmer for a sack of croutons and dishonorably […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
This is nothing like Foggy Mountain Breakdown, but I like that diddy. These two games have kept me up at night (not really). I have gone back and forth on my predictions and I’m hoping that writing my game break downs will help me come to a decision. New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers Last […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Here are this week’s rankings. Both games have good defenses, are in cold weather and should be close games which makes ranking the individual players quite difficult. I’ll break down the games tomorrow with a little water boarding and sleep deprivation. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers – GB at CHI Ben Roethlisberger – PIT vs NYJ Jay […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
