Week 10 of the NFL was another wild one. The Lions did not lose; the Cardinals, Rams, Raiders, Browns, and Falcons certainly did. Another top running back was injured. And parity reigns supreme, as at least 20 teams probably still feel like they have a chance at the playoffs. Let’s dissect the developments of Week 10 and how they affect our dynasty league waiver wire.

I’ve been married for seven years now, but we’ve been together much longer. Through our relationship, I’ll often turn to her, look deep into her eyes and say, “You know those dogs from Homeward Bound are dead now right?” I get the death stare every time, but readers of Wright on Waivers I have a secret to tell you. I sort of love Homeward Bound. I believe this is the second time I have referenced it in my short time here at Razzball. The scene I like most (spoilers) is when Shadow comes over the hill and sees Peter after their long time apart. It gets me all misty. I mean who does not love a story of someone finally making their way back home. Our lead name in this week’s waiver article is a lot like Shadow. He still has a few journeys and walks ahead of him. It is just nice to see him taking his final trips in a familiar place. Welcome home Cam.

I was working in the lab, late one night. When my eyes beheld an eerie sight. For my monster on his slab began to rise and suddenly to my surprise… He did the Mash. The Monster Mash

Just take these wise words in for a moment. Breathe them in. The monster… he did the mash. And don’t we all do the mash sometimes, much to the chagrin and sometimes excitement to our contemporaries? Yes, even sometimes it will truly be a “graveyard smash”.

What was this section about? Oh uh Halloween injury report. Right. There was a thread here but I got carried away in the poetry of Bobby “Boris” Pickett & The Crypt Kickers (Side note: Here’s a great TV performance of Bobby Pickett doing the Monster Mash, a real masterclass in making really weird faces and being a weirdo).

The teams who will have some extra trick-or-treating time on bye this week are the Ravens and the Raiders. See ya next week!

Let’s get into this week’s horror show!

Life is rarely simple, as pros and cons must be seesawed before rendering a decision. We all love football, but what if the only game for consumption was the Jets vs Giants? I see y’all nodding your heads up and down. Now, shut down gambling and fantasy. What now tough guy or gal? How about sex? It’s wonderful and, without it, humans would cease to exist. Calories are burned and smiles are formed, but what if it was Lady Eloise from Boomerang who was purring “Marcus, darling.” Yuck, but it’s sex. Which brings me to Marcus Johnson of the Indianapolis Colts. Who? Exactly, but he caught 5-of-8 targets for 108 yards yesterday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Fling or a thing?

Donkey and B_Don are back talking pickups following week 11. A**hole of the week comes early this week with the Browns/Steelers debacle of nut grabbing and helmet bashing. B_Don is also questions Robert Woods’ surprise late scratch with “personal issues.” Don’t look to B_Don for sympathy if you’re going through some tough times!

For once the guys have mostly a consensus on their top 5 adds of the week as both hosts have the same top 4 recommendations of Jonathan Williams, Derrius Guice, Bo Scarbrough and Nyheim Hines. In the deep targets segment some interesting names are thrown around, including Tim Patrick, Marcus Johnson, Ryan Griffin, Pat Laird and Russell Gage. Tune in and continue to dominate your waiver wire on your way to fantasy glory!
