Opening the week as the highest over/under of the season at 55.5, HOU @ KC now sits as the tied-for-2nd highest point total in 2019 at 55. A clash between offenses that rank #4 (KC) and #9 in points per game. Poorly buried by the NFL in the early slate of games, everyone get their popcorn ready early this Sunday. Both teams rank in the top 10 in total offensive plays ran this season, #3 KC and #8 HOU, and find their way onto this weeks shootout game preview. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Today I will cover the second half of the NFC West. Following this, there is just one division left. The finish line is right around the corner. Now it’s time to talk about the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. Please, blog, may I have some more?
The AFC North takes the crown for most intriguing fantasy division heading in to 2019. With so many names to cover, I will jump right in. If you missed my NFC North preview last week, peep it here. Each week I preview key fantasy players, division-by-division, leading us to the start of pre-season games. Next […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
David Moore (vs LAC): Moore enjoyed his third straight double-digit fantasy point game and third-straight game with a TD reception. He’s doing this on not a lot of receptions (average of 3 in his last 3 games,) but while Russell Wilson has his number he’s definitely worth picking up if he can continue building his chemistry with Wilson.
D.J. Moore (vs TB): Moore finished Sunday’s game against the Ravens first in receptions, yards and targets in their receiving game for 17 fantasy points. Ifb is really having shoulder issues he could continue to dump short and medium length passes to Moore. In week 8 his longest reception was only 33 yards and in the three weeks prior to that it was only 20 yards. Moore is going to benefit from Cam’s less. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Chris Godwin (vs CLE): All Chris Godwin has done is catch a TD in 4 of his 5 games this season and netted 13 points or more in all 4 of those games. There are a lot of hungry mouths in the Bucs receiving game, but with Jameis Winston back in the fold I can see all those baby birds getting fed by mama Winston especially against a Browns team that has surrendered the 5th most receiving yards.
O.J. Howard (vs CLE): Another mouth to feed in Tampa Bay? Yea, but Howard was well fed even before Winston’s return. In his last three games played he’s had 18 fantasy points, 13 fantasy points and 16 fantasy points respectively. Howard will continue to gobble up a decent amount of targets even against a Browns secondary that has been a little stingy to opposing TEs. Should I end this eating analogy now? OM NOM NOM!Please, blog, may I have some more?
Well that was one hell of a ride. My Bills had Houston right where we wanted them. And Nathan Peterman just… just… just did Nathan Peterman things and threw a pick-6. I really shouldn’t have been surprised when it happened. He has to have done that at least 2847 times by now in his 396 day career. Before I go on a long tirade about how bad Josh Allen looked before he got hurt, let’s just take care of this game in its’ entirety. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Jameis Winston (@ ATL): Jameis Winston and a guy named Chester in the same article and I’m not making that the headline? I deserve some praise for my maturity. It’s already been reported that Winston will be QB1 in Atlanta in week 6. The Falcons are tied for second-most TD passes allowed and are 10th in passing yards allowed and have allowed 20+ fantasy points to their opposing QBs in 4 straight games now. Jameis is only 12.6% owned and just like with Baker Mayfield — he won’t be that available for long. Please, blog, may I have some more?
Last week was a mixed bag of waiver recommendations.
I made some great waiver suggestions: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Phillip Lindsay, Geronimo Allison, Brandon McManus. But also some that left both of us scratching our heads: Tyrod Taylor, Jonnu Smith, Washington Redskins and Ryan Grant. I’m pretty confident in my picks for this upcoming week — even the Blake Bortles one! (Oh God, what have I done…)Please, blog, may I have some more?
Brandon Marshall, Antonio Brown, Marques Colston, Shannon Sharpe, Julian Edelman, Michael Turner, Darren Sproles, Pierre Garcon, Derrick Mason. All of these players were drafted in the 4th round or later and went on to become useful real life and fantasy players. There are plenty of people out there telling you why to draft Derrius Guice over Rashaad Penny (Guice is #2 in my dynasty rankings and Penny is #4). And if you want to hear the full break down of all rookie running backs and wide receivers, you can always go check out my podcast with @DonkeyTeeth87, Ditka, Sausage, and Fantasy Sports, hosted by Razzball, where we reviewed 21 rookie WRs and 18 rookie RBs.
Today though, I’m here to give you a list for the back end of your dynasty drafts. As the list at the start of the article shows, there can certainly be some hidden gems in the late rounds of the NFL draft and your dynasty start up. Let’s uncover some stones like Cornelius and Maxwell from the old SNES game. Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Red Zone Channel is an absolute gift from the heavens. If you don’t have DirecTV, you might not know that it’s a six-and-a half-hour broadcast on Sundays during the NFL season that switches from broadcast to broadcast of games where a team is in scoring territory. It’s hosted by the legendary Andrew Siciliano and his abnormally large ears and it’s a dream come true for fantasy players. There are few things more exciting than owning stock of a running on a certain team and yelling at the TV for the wide receiver on his team that’s sprinting down the field with the ball in his hand to get pushed out at the one or two so your running back can get the six points…
