This week in the 2024 Top 150 PPR Rankings, I discuss five things I learned while researching players over the past few weeks. As of today, I have reviewed in detail roughly 100 players so the rankings are fair from complete. As we inch closer to completing the Top 150 follow me on “X” as I post daily updates on the latest research on every team.

What goes into my rankings? Every year, I start with a baseline of what happened the prior year. Then, I review key things that might have impacted the player’s production like injuries, bad coaching or lack of talent around that player. Next, I review what’s changed heading into this season. This includes things like coaching or personnel changes, injuries, and training camp news and notes on how a player have moved up or down the depth chart.

5 Things You Need To Know The Sequel!

  • Player: Devin Singletary (RB)
  • Team: New York Giants
  • Overall Ranking: 80 (ADP 107)

Devin Singletary is likely to see a solid workload especially early on in 2024. In 28 career games under Brian Daboll where he played 50% of the snaps, he averaged 13.6 PPR PPG. That would have made him the RB21 in 2023.

  • Player: Wan’Dale Robinson (WR)
  • Team: New York Giants
  • Overall Ranking: 146 (ADP 193)

Cole Beasley was a Top 36 WR in 2 of 3 seasons as the #2/slot wide receiver for the Bills under Brian Daboll. With Darren Waller retired, the Giants lack a true pass catching tight end in his place. This could open up more opportunities for Wan’Dale Robinson which makes him an interesting sleeper WR3 in PPR formats.

  • Player: Jameson Williams (WR)
  • Team: Detroit Lions
  • Overall Ranking: 103 (ADP 111)

After looking into the history of Jared Goff’s 3rd WR/TE option, I moved Jameson Williams up in my latest Top 150. The loss of Josh Reynolds should vault Williams into a more prominent role. This expanded role along with his efficiency could allow him to flirt with WR3/4 value this season.

  • Player: Marquise Brown (WR)
  • Team: Kansas City Chiefs
  • Overall Ranking: 60 (ADP 78)

Marquise Brown played 18 games in 2021-2022 with a healthy Lamar Jackson & Kyler Murray. During that stretch, he averaged 16.9 PPR PPG. That production would have made Brown the WR10 in 2023. Now he is set to start with Patrick Mahomes.

  • Player: Jaylen Waddle (WR)
  • Team: Miami Dolphins
  • Overall Ranking: 44 (ADP 37)

I moved Jaylen Waddle inside the Top 50 in my latest rankings, but he is still behind ADP. In 2023, Waddle and Tyreek Hill played nine games where they were both on the field for 50% of the snaps. In those games, Waddle’s PPG drops to 13.7. That’s low-end WR2 production last season.

Why is Mostert so low after scoring 21 TDs?

It’s a combination of TD regression and his ADP. ADP wise I am much higher than where he is going. If you look at the Razzball ADP tool, Mostert is going at 81 so I am still very aggressive on him.
