On this week’s dynasty rankings update, we’re talking sleepers. These players are outside the Top 120 in ADP (Dynasty ADP in this case) but I think you should get them into your dynasty teams. If you haven’t already, make you subscribe to Razzball so you can enjoy all the awesome tools and content we have on the site. As every dynasty league is different and every team has different needs, I’ve taken a neutral approach to my rankings, assuming PPR, 4-point passing touchdowns and a roster of 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1FLEX. I’ve also balanced win-now value and building for the future so my rankings sit somewhere in the middle of those two extremes. If you need help valuing players in your specific situation, message me on Instagram @TheFantasyFirstDown or on Twitter @FantasyFirstDwn, plus you can find my full positional and rookie rankings at ffdfantasyfootball.com If you need IDP rankings you can find them on my website while I also do paid personalised rankings, as advertised on Razzball last year. Baker Mayfield (TB)

ADP: 194 (QB27)

My Rank: 124 (QB20)

A quarterback in his twenties finishes as the QB9 and he’s available after some backups? That’s ludicrous. Baker Mayfield has proven over the years that he deserves a starting job in this league and last year showed that he can produce as a fantasy asset as well. The change in play calling and the aging of Mike Evans are both concerns but we’re ultimately talking about the signal caller for a playoff-quality team. He is a very solid fantasy backup and a good superflex QB2.

Devin Singletary (NYG)

ADP: 126 (RB40)

My Rank: 90 (RB22)

To me there’s no doubt who the lead Giants running back will be. Devin Singletary won’t be anything special but he’s a starting every-down back in the NFL and looks like he has a number of years left in that role. There’s no evidence to suggest that Eric Gray and Tyrone Tracy are fighting for anything but the backup role. This offense will likely be terrible this year but I’d still rather have 90% of the Giants RB touches than 50% of the Titans or Steelers RB touches.

Rico Dowdle (DAL)

ADP: 181 (RB58)

My Rank: 129 (RB35)

I’m not going to pretend I even slightly understand this ADP. What about Ezekiel Elliott’s recent performances suggests he’s capable of an effective workhorse load at this stage in his career? Zeke will be busy in short-yardage and pass-protection situations but we know from experience that you want the Tony Pollard equivalent in this offense. This year that’s Rico Dowdle and, if he plays well, he could easily be the every down back by 2025. The upside is huge and he’s a good zero-RB option even if this is a committee. The Dowdle slander needs to stop!

Joshua Palmer (LAC)

ADP: 149 (WR68)

My Rank: 117 (WR54)

While the general expectation is that Ladd McConkey will lead the way from the slot for the Chargers’ passing game, even the most run-heavy offense still offers value for the lead outside receiver. In LA that’s clearly Joshua Palmer. He should offer solid bye week value plus he has the upside of possibly being the true number one receiver in an offense that could feasibly be more pass-heavy than we expect.

Curtis Samuel (BUF)

ADP: 162 (WR72)

My Rank: 147 (WR66)

I believe Keon Coleman will be the stud in the Bills pass game but there will be plenty of room for a solid number two WR and for me, that should be Curtis Samuel. The former Commander has consistently been a top 40 performer when healthy and goes into an offense with plenty of targets up for grabs. I love him as a cheap pickup in a PPR league with the upside that he could sneakily be the top option in this offense many weeks.

Demarcus Robinson (LAR)

ADP: 231 (WR95)

My Rank: 199 (WR86)

I see this is a wide receiver handcuff. Demarcus Robinson will be free in most leagues and while he offers bye week fill-in upside in his role as the Rams WR3, his main value will come if Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua goes down. He would then shift into a top two receiving role in a great offense and that’s the kind of upside I want on my bench, especially in deeper leagues.

Noah Fant (SEA)

ADP: 198 (TE25)

My Rank: 180 (TE22)

There’s few egregious oversights in the tight end ADP but I do feel Noah Fant could prove to be a great sleeper value this year. Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson are both out of town plus the O-line is healthier and won’t need that extra tight end blocking support. The signs point to a Fant resurgence as the every down tight end in an offense that could be sneakily good. He’s a good bench stash and is available in many leagues.

Tyler Conklin (NYJ)

ADP: 218 (TE30)

My Rank: 200+ (TE28)

It’s a little unorthodox to include a player I couldn’t fit inside my Top 200 but I wanted to mention Conklin as a solid win-now option. He’s finished in the Top 20 tight ends the last three seasons and could easily improve with Aaron Rodgers leading a higher scoring offense. I do think there’s a significant risk he loses the starting job in the next year or two but the short term upside is enough to make him worth mentioning.

As always, please leave your comments and dynasty trade questions below and please consider subscribing to make use of the many awesome tools available on the Razzball site. I’ll be back next week with more dynasty updates.
