I feel like each week this article goes up on the site with bad news.  I have no doubt you feel the same way.  I wish we lived in a world where injuries did not occur in the NFL, but here we are.  Another week, another set of starting fantasy players have been bitten by the injury bug.  Speaking of feelings, I was starting to feel like Jasxon Dart szn was taking off then BOOM, dude drops two rushing scores just before exiting with a concussion.  The Thursday Night game was possibly the worst NFL game I have ever watched.  In that game, J.K. Dobbins had his ankle landed on by a defender.  There is your QB/RB tandem for the week.  Now, we move onto the WR/TE portion of the bad news.  Garrett Wilson just put up a goose egg on Sunday after reaggravating his knee injury.  I do not expect much from Wilson moving forward and fully expect this setback to be lengthy.  Finally, we saw current fantasy darling Oronde Gadsden II leave the Sunday Night Football contest with a knee injury.

Of the players listed above, I see Gadsden as the first player back in the lineup.  Watch the injury and practice reports for each player this week.  Lesser names to come up lame in Week 10: Dalton Kincaid, Rashod Bateman, Zonovan ‘Bam’ Knight, and Darius Slayton.

While looking into your waiver wire for Week 11, do not forget both the Colts and Saints are golfing this weekend.

WAIVERS:

ADD OF THE WEEK = Parker Washington – 41% rostered repeats atop this list as he is still widely available after dropping back-to-back 17+ PPR point games.  With the uncertainty of Brian Thomas Jr., Washington should be snatched up and started with confidence as a FLEX at minimum.  If BTJ trends towards playing, lean into Alec Pierce – 42% rostered but know he is on bye this week.  He is a great early pick-up and can be fired up starting again in Week 12.  Pierce has dropped 14+ PPR points in three of the past four weeks, averaging 19 PPR points over the last two.

QB: Even though he is on bye this week, if Uncle Joe Flacco is still available, he must be rostered.  Additional bargain big QBs to consider adding are Marcus Mariota and Jacoby Brissett.  He has been better than Kyler Murray through four starts, and Murray will miss at least three more games as he was placed on the IR prior to Week 10.

RB: Trey Benson – 59% rostered is about to come off the waiver wire and almost all fantasy teams need help at RB.  Add Benson as depth and you just might find yourself starting him often.  If Benson trends towards not playing in Week 11, I prefer Emari Demercado – 37% rostered over any other names in the running back room in the desert.

Honorable Mention/Cheaper Options:

Tyler Allgeier – 33% rostered is the goal line/short yardage back with Bijan Robinson the main passing down option and the guy working the most between the 20s.  Do not expect two TD games from Allgeier moving forward but he should be rostered in all formats.

Kareem Hunt – 62% rostered was dropped in almost 10% leagues while on bye.  A week of rest will help him moving forward.  His schedule is not ideal moving forward, but if you need a starting RB, he could be your guy.

Tank Bigsby – 17% rostered is the name if you roster Saquon Barkley.  We saw a decent performance from Barkley on Monday Night Football.  Bigsby had fewer touches than Will Shipley – 0% rostered but is the clear handcuff for Saquon in my opinion.

Troy Franklin – WR – 54% rostered has made a name for himself over the past few weeks.  He appears to be the clear #2 receiving option behind Courtland Sutton with Evan Engram almost invisible the past two weeks.

Honorable Mention/Cheaper Options:

Malik Washington – 17% rostered is getting enough looks from Tua to make him viable as a FLEX option with the right matchup.  Another week, another TD.

Tez Johnson – 32% rostered almost doubled his roster percentage this week and we witnessed why.  The former Ducks player just dropped two TDs on the Patriots.  Baker loves the kid, and we will not see Chris Godwin or Bucky Irving anytime soon.

Christian Watson – 32% rostered is clearly the downfield option for Jordan Love and the Packers.  With no Jayden Reed and the injury to Tucker Kraft, Green Bay looked for Watson more on Monday Night Football.  He had a 22-yard reception called back for a lame illegal formation penalty and was the clear deep threat for Love.  With Romeo Doubs leaving with an injury, the Packers will need to lean on Watson more in Week 12.

TE: Luke Musgrave – 14% rostered looked good, not great.  He is not Tucker Kraft.  If you need bye week coverage for Tyler Warren or Juwan Johnson, you might consider Musgrave as a one-week streamer.  He is nothing else at this point.  The guy you want at TE is listed next.

You must love what you see with Cade Otton – 42% rostered.  Against a tough New England defense, Otton put up 9-82-0 as Baker looked for him early and often in the middle of the field.  Otton is not a game breaker.  He is much more of a catch and fall down TE, but can get up the field enough for a team that appears likely to throw much more than run at least until Bucky is back.

There is no better time to get hot, so work your waiver wire and make the playoffs.  Once you are in the dance, anything can happen.  Keep working to win this thing! There is no need to rush to drop any specific player.  Start by looking at your roster to determine if you have an obvious drop candidate.  If you do, then move over to your waiver wire.  Do not make a move just to make a move.
