I just snuck out of a court ordered gambling rehab facility to write this post, so I’ll have to be brief. After I was arrested for stealing old ladies’ purses from the retirement home down the block to fund my string of Arizona Cardinals’ Super Bowl wagers (a 50:1 lock!), the judge sentenced me to 6 month’s of in-patient rehab. Since I’ll be releasing my weekly fantasy football rankings each Thursday morning (except Thanksgiving week!) for the duration of the season, I’ve decided to throw in some bonus bold Thursday Night Football (or Friday Night Football this week) predictions along with my expertly handicapped pick for the contest:

Vikings (+7) at Saints

Forecast:  Championship week is upon us and we have Christmas football! In Drew Brees looked more like Drew Carey in his return from 712 broken ribs last week. Remember The Drew Carey Show? It was brutal but one good thing came out of the terrible show: Diedrich Bader nailed his role as Oswald Lee Harvey, landing him the future role of Rex in Napoleon Dynamite. What does this have to do with Drew Brees? Nothing, but I still don’t expect him to be anywhere near 100% against the Vikings on Christmas Day. Fortunately, it sounds like the already weak Vikings defense–who got whooped by Trubisky and Da Bears last week–may be without their best player, linebacker Eric Kendricks, so Drew Carey just might be able to cover the seven point spread. Grab your jingle bells and jump on the SaintsSaints 30, Vikings 21

Wager: Saints -7 (4 Units)

2020 Season: 4-10 (-3.05 Units)

Anyway, here’s my fantasy football rankings for week 16 which will be frequently updated until Sunday kickoff:

Hey donkey ! I made it to the finals!

Which D to roll w/ for the finals ?

LA Rams D (my opponent just dropped them I kinda want to use them against my opponent), not a great matchup however last week was supposed to be a cake matchup & Jets rolled

Panthers D @ Washington, Haskins most likely out

Cardinals D, vs Niners & Kittle is back & CJ beatherd at QB

    Eagles D @ Dallas

    Cowboys D vs Eagles

My opponents D is going at 4, he has Washington I want to have a 4pm D to match up with him

Chargers D, vs lock & Broncos

    Thanks for everything this season!

      Hey Bobby! Congrats!

I have the Cardinals ranked quite a bit higher than the others.

      Good luck!

  2. Mike says:

Where do you rank Salvon Ahmed now that Gaskin has been ruled out for Sunday? Ahead of Drake?

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Are you sure Gaskin is out? I haven’t seen anything about that

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

Gaskin def looks like he’s playing – he practiced today and was removed from the rona list

        • Donkey Teeth

          Donkey Teeth says:

          Yeah same thing I saw

            My bad.

            • Mordacious Levator says:
              (link)

please check before saying stuff like that, it’s ugly to think what we just read is somehow wrong, or even if we didn’t read anything about gaskin to think because somebody came in here and said that and now we’re for sure screwed if we own gaskin. it’s like getting slow rolled in poker (except it’s only short term here). i don’t know why you assumed gaskin is out, as any/all news i can see is he practiced in FULL wednesday. the only question is whether he gets his old workload or ahmed gets some of it (or breida).

  3. Chris Yurton says:
    (link)

Is your Beasley ranking based on thinking John Brown is out? Where would he be if John brown plays?

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Honestly I don’t think I’m moving him down much if Brown plays, probably just a couple spots. Him and Allen seem to be really clicking so well right now…

  4. Louis says:
    (link)

Half ppr please help me win the championship!
2 RB: jacobs, swift, mckissic, mccafrey or gibson
2WR: evans, julio, corey davis, davante parker or emanuel Sanders
1 Flex from those RB and WR
K: blankenship, Cairo, bass, Carlson or Zuerlin

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

RB: Jacobs for sure, then CMC if he plays (doubtful), Gibson next if he plays (questionable), or Swift as the 3rd choice if both CMC and Gibson sit
WR: Evans for sure, then Julio if he plays (questionable), Davis if Julio sits
Flex: I rank them Gibson, Swift, Davis, Parker depending who you end up starting in the other slots
      K: Bass

      Good luck!

      • Louis says:
        (link)

Thank you very much for your complete answer!
        Kyler Murray over Hebert right?

        • Donkey Teeth

          Donkey Teeth says:
          (link)

          No problem! Yep, Kyler.

  5. Chet says:
    (link)

Thanks, DT! Why so down on Aaron Rodgers? His little “expert note” says he’s a top-2 QB this week. I ask because I have Rodgers and Jalen Hurts is available.

    • Mordacious Levator says:
      (link)

yeah he’s in the minority of rankers here, AAron consensus 3rd, and might even be 2nd if i index to other top rankers. HAVING said that at this moment DT is the 4th best FP QB ranker, so maybe his assumptions are good here. i hope not for my sake though.

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Yeah consensus has him at #3 but I’m fading him after what the Panthers did to him last week. I expect the Titans to get even more pressure on him. I could be totally off base here but I’d go with Hurts fwiw.

      • Mordacious Levator says:
        (link)

that’s true, CAR in the 2nd half and way way back when he put up his only completely disgusting game of the year against TB where his line completely imploded constantly.

  6. otisP says:
    (link)

Need help with my roster this week, full point PPR. Definite starts include:

    QB Allen
    RB Chubb
    WR Tyreek
    WR Landry

Need some advice on the following:

    1. Second RB choices include: Hunt, Pollard (in my mind, obvious start if Zeke is out), Conner, Jeff Wilson
    2. TE: I have Hunter Henry but would you consider George Kittle instead if he plays?
    3. Flex: Who would you throw in the flex with the players left? I also have Tyler Lockett but honestly not considering him at this point.

    Thank you!

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

      1. Agree on Pollard if Zeke is out. If not then I’d go Wilson.
      2. Henry is on covid list now but I probably would’ve gone Kittle regardless.
      3. Hunt

      No problem, good luck!

  7. Bobby’s world says:

    Howdy again Donkey !

Full ppr championship round I don’t feel good about this matchup, what do you think?

    RB1 cook, Friday
    RB2 Chubb, 1pm sun

    WR1 Hopkins sat
    WR2 tyreek sun 1
WR3 thinking one of Ridley but KC is good vs WRs so thinking either mclaurin 4pm slate vs panthers , or kupp @ Seattle 4pm slate

    TE Tonyan SNF

Flex : debating between bell vs ATL 1pm, Zack moss @ pats & seems you can run on pats & thats MNF , or Dobbins vs giants 1pm

D: I have Miami & cardinals both Saturday

Kicker I’ve been streaming thinking zuerlein 4pm slate or gostkowski @ GB SNF or Bass MNF @ pats & it’s supposed to rain there Monday

    IDP Devin white

    —-

    My opponent

    His QB Baker @ Jets , 1pm

His RB1 josh Jacobs vs Dolphins, sat
    His RB2, Montgomery @ jax, 1pm

His WR1, Mike Evans , @ Detroit, Saturday
    His WR2, Allen Robinson, @ jax 1pm

His flex, zeke Elliot , sun 4pm vs Eagles

His d, Washington D vs Carolina 4pm slate

His kicker is Seattle kicker, 4pm slate

His IDP, zach Cunningham 1pm slate

Would you add Rams d who are free agents to have a d that plays at the same time? We start with 22 points off the bat for defense/ special teams

    Other 4pm D’s available:
    Eagles D @ Dallas

Cowboys D vs Eagles & the past two weeks Cowboys D has looked good

Carolina D @ Washington, I’d only start if no Alex smith I guess

    Chargers D vs Broncos

I made it in my main league I have been in since 2005 I am tied with the most championships with 4. Since this league has been going for so long few years back commissioner changed it to 300 passing yards equals 10 bonus points 100 rushing or receiving yards equals 10 bonus points. It’s pretty huge to get those bonus points each week I have questions that each position today hardest decisions of the year.

at QB I have been rolling with Herbert since DAk got hurt and he has not let me down scoring under 16 points only once and hitting the bonus seven times which has put him at number seven QB in our league but a few weeks ago I picked up Jalen hurts hard for me to bench Herbert but man does hurts have some upside who would you go with?

At rb1 I’m rolling with Nick Chubb at receiver number one rolling with Terry McLaurin
I need help finding a second running back and second receiver ,2flexes and a te

My running back options include JK dobbins, Gibson, Swift, David Johnson, and Jonathan Taylor who has been great last few weeks but tough matchup. If Gibson is one need another in case he doesn’t play

As for receiver of if Julio plays I am starting him . He plays on Sunday my other options are Emmanuel Sanders who plays Friday Antonio Brown who plays Saturday devontae Parker who plays Saturday and Hilton and lamb on Sunday

As for te I assume Hunter Henry over Dallas
      goedert and engram

Thanks a lot for your help throughout the year Razzball has became my favorite source for fantasy sports over the past few years. you guys keep doing what y’all do and hope you have a blessed holidays

      • Russowl says:

I put my other receiving options so you can choose one in case Julio doesn’t play. Also I see I accidentally put this on someone else’s thread my bad

        • Russowl says:
          (link)

Well Terry McLaurin miss practice again today so I guess I need an option in case he doesn’t play also

QB I’d go Hurts unless you feel like you have a big advantage in your matchup, Hebert has a higher floor imo.

Then Dobbins and Hilton. Goedert at TE since Henry hut the covid list.

        No problem, good luck!

        • Russowl says:
          (link)

So your saying dobbins as rb2 and Hilton as wr2 If Julio don’t play ?. I still need two flexes out of Antonio Gibson, Jonathan Taylor, David Johnson, and Swift

          • Russowl says:
            (link)

In a league where the defense is settings it doesn’t matter on points allowed I have the saints d who I’m high on at home but the bills are available

              Donkey Teeth says:

If go Ridley at WR3, Dobbins at flex, Dolphins D and Bass.

      No problem, good luck!

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

And I actually like your chances. Slightly better than 50/50 I’d say.

  8. Wide Right says:
    (link)

    PPR – difficult flex decision..
Chark, R.Higgins, Boyd, Logan Thomas, Sony Michel/Harris.. a lot of unknowns here that could impact these options.

Also with Akers out – my RB2 options are not great

M.Brown or Sony/Harris.. I even picked up Dillon (because why not at this point)

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Rough! I’d go with Harris if he plays (Sony if he doesn’t) and then Chark.

  9. Brian Watson says:
    (link)

    Kyler Murray or Brady?

PPR: jonathan Taylor or Mckissic (assuming Gibson is out)?

    Bears, Browns or Bills D?

    Zuerlin or Succopm

    • Brian Watson says:
      (link)

      Or Hurts?

      • Donkey Teeth

        Donkey Teeth says:

  10. Steve says:
    (link)

I need some lineup help heading into Championship. My league is PPR scoring. I need to choose two RBs and a flex. Keenan Allen is usually my flex, but he seems uncertain. Anyways:

RB: Pollard, Swift, Bell, David Johnson
    WR: Gage

    Thanks!

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

DJ, Bell and Swift. Pollard over Swift if Zeke happens to be out.

      No problem!

  11. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

Thanks for helping me get to thr championship!

    Half PPR, here’s my starters:

    WR – Diggs, Woods, Aiyuk
    RB – Ekler, Sanders
    Flex – Dobbins
    Bench – J. Taylor, Kupp

Just seems odd having Taylor on my bench. Is the distance between Dobbins and Taylor significant or more of a gut call?

Any worry about the QB situation in SF that would lead to Kupp over Aiyuk?

    Thank you!

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

      Congrats!

More of a gut call on Dobbins vs JT. Pick your poison.

Also a little risk in SF but I wouldn’t hesitate to go Aiyuk over Kupp.

      No problem, good luck!

  12. DEAN L WHITE says:
    (link)

Please help. I scrambled on the waiver wire last week amd ended up with Wilson and Fournette. I also have Dalvin Cook, Antonio Gibson and a now-healthy Gaskin.

I think I’m leaning: Cook / Fournette, as my RBs…

Not sure what to do with the rest.

    • DEAN L WHITE says:
      (link)

PS: I think the rest goes Wilson, Gibson, Gaskin given matchups.

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

How many do you start? I’d say Cook, Gibson (assuming he plays) and Fournette. Wilson next.

I’m about hesitant on Gaskin, thinking it might be an even split with Ahmed…

  13. Russowl says:
    (link)

Non ppr 10 bonus points at 100 rushing or receiving . Need help on 3 positions .Need a receiver, a running back and two flex

Dobbins, J Taylor, Gibbons, David Johnson ,Swift
Antonio Brown ,Manny Sanders , Ty Hilton ,Lamb

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

I’d go with Hilton, Dobbins and Gibson (DJ is Gibson doesn’t play)

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Ah misread. Hilton for the WR slot, the Dobbins, Gibson and DJ. JT if Gibson sits.

      • Russowl says:
        (link)

Well dang now Terry McLaurin is doubtful now I need another receiver out of that group now Devante Parker also available on waiver wire

        • Donkey Teeth

          Donkey Teeth says:
          (link)

          Saw that, I’d go Lamb

  14. MisforMookie says:
    (link)

Stumbled into the finals and looking for some advice as I’m running into injuries at a bad time. I think I’m settled but confirmation is always great. This is a shallow standard non-PPR league.

    QB: Rodgers
    WR: Diggs and Jefferson
    RB: Jones and Robinson
    TE: Andrews
    Flex: Dobbins

Bench: K Murray, McLaurin, C Davis, Kupp, T Higgins, Snell, Pollard, Ahmed

    Questions:
    1. QB: Any reason to start Murray over Rodgers? Seems Rodgers has a good matchup but Murray back to 40+ points the last week or two.

2: RB: looks like Jones will play which is good. Robinson unclear but probably i would swap Dobbins here if he doesn’t play.

3: flex: what’s the contingency plan here? If Robinson is out then Dobbins gets shuffled up, and I’m not sure who to play. McLaurin is now doubtful. Pollard the obvious choice I think if Zeke doesn’t play but sounds like he might. Any thoughts?

Based on Yahoo projections (I know) top waiver adds could be Marvin Jones, J Wilson, Cooks, Hilton, Agholor, Crowder , AB

    Thanks for a great season

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

      1. I prefer Kyler, he looked like early season Kyler last week…
      2. Agreed
      3. Agreed on Pollard. If Zeke plays (which I expect he will) then I’d grab Wilson and start him…

      No problem, good luck!

  15. JC says:
    (link)

Drafted Julio in the second round and Galloday in the third. Unreal. Yet I find myself in the finale. RBs are the key as always. Akers getting hurt allowed him to play Henderson this week which blows. But you never know!

Of these two teams, who do you favor? (I like his squad sadly).

    His:

    Rodgers
    A Jones
    Gordon
    Henderson
    Lamb
    Metcalf
    Kelce
    Texans
    Koo

    Mine:

    Tanney
    Cook
    JT
    Monty
    Beasley
    T.Y.
    Waller
    Bills
    Carlson

    Debated playing Rishard Higgins. WDYT?

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Maybe a slight edge to him but it’s pretty close imo…pretty much a coin flip. I’d stick with who you have over Higgins.

      • JC says:
        (link)

Well, somehow got “the chip”. Running backs did their job even with Gaskins on my bench (ugh).

    • Donkey Teeth

Merry Xmas Todd. I lean Metcalf but if you feel like you have a big advantage on paper then I could be convinced to go Carson for the floor.

      No problem

  18. Kauffee says:
    (link)

thanks….do you like Hurts or Tannehill?

I also need 2 of Antonio Gibson, Mike Davis and Jeff Wilson in PPR.

obviously have to lock in wilson. tomorrow if I am starting him, without certainty on Gibson. Cheers

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:
      (link)

Hurts. Agree, you have to start Wilson if you don’t have another viable backup and then I’d go Gibson over Davis if he plays.

      Good luck!

JPP almost had a pick and i noticed he has 10 fingers (at least appeared he did), how in the hell did that happen (remember he blew some of them off a few years ago on 4th of july mishap). i wish we could see those robot fingers or whatever he’s got in those gloves.

    • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:

wow, for first time i think since he’s been there, brady targeting evans just in general, like say winston or all the QB’s evans ever had pre-brady, which is great.
