Here is the pass strategery for this week.  If you have any questions at all about any of these numbers throw them in the comments and I’ll give you some kind of answer.

I always like to differentiate between #1 and #2 receivers and the guys at Football Outsiders do that in this chart.  I’ve put it here to make it sortable.  You can see how each team ranks against #1 WR, #2 WR, non #1/2 WR, and Tight Ends according to DVOA: Defense-adjusted Value Over Average and it also gives the yardage given up to each.

.

1st Chart’s Key:

Each number is the ranking that the teams have in that particular statistic over the last 5 weeks.  For example, Green Bay has given up the least amount of passing yards per game so they have a “1″ under the “Yds/Gm” column.  The ranking on the left coincides with the average on the right.  The higher the number the worse their pass defense stats are.

Rank: Overall ranking of each team.

Team: The team that is being evaluated for their defensive strength

Opp: The team with your fantasy players

Yds/Gm: Total passing yards given up per game

QB FPA: Fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks

Comp%: Completion Percentage against

WR FPA: Fantasy points allowed to wide receivers

TE FPA: Fantasy points allowed to tight ends

DVOA: Defense-adjusted Value Over Average

Yds/c: Yards Per Catch

TDs: Passing touchdowns allowed

Average: The average of each each individual ranking (this makes up the overall ranking)

It looks like I’m win-win with my choice between Schaub and Kitna, which one do you prefer?

also my weekly flex question: Britt, Ronnie B, Joe Webb, M. Bush?

    Thanks

    Championship game flex question:

Donald Brown, Antonio Armstrong, Jabar Gaffney, or Jacoby Ford? I am literally clueless after Brown’s game last week.

Gotta submit a lineup for tonight, how safe do you think it is to start Andre Johnson this week? I’ve got Kenny Britt sitting on my bench. PPR, if it matters.

@Doc: In my keeper/dynasty league, I’m going to have to be declaring my keepers in about a couple weeks. $200 salary cap and the positions are listed below (6 pts all TD, 20 return yds/point)

    QB – Aaron Rodgers ($47)
    WR – Andre Johnson ($46)
    WR – Roddy White ($38)
    WR – Chad OchoCinco ($33)
    RB – Jamaal Charles ($21)
    RB – Maurice Jones-Drew ($46)
    TE – Brent Celek ($7)
    W/R – Donald Brown ($10)
    QB/W/R/T – Drew Stanton ($7)
    BEN – Justin Forsett ($7)
BEN – Steve Smith CAR ($7)
    BEN – Ed Dickson ($7)

Basically, who should I keep? Right now I’m only keeping Rodgers and Charles for sure. I’m also debating between a few other names, mainly Brown and Smith, but what do you think about the others? Who would you keep? Also, would you pick up Tebow for $7 (he would HAVE to be my 2nd QB next season)

    Thanks,

Can’t decide between Lawfirm and Ryan Torain for the flex. They play the Bills and the Jaguars, respectively. Both pretty good matchups. What do you think?

Also, am I crazy for considering starting Tebow over Eli?

@genghis chone: I feel good about AJ.

    @Dakota: It’s tough, but I’m leaning Brown.

    @DSimms: Schaub, Britt

@Cheese: I’d want AJ too. I’m not sold on Tebow.

For finals this week i got a few lineup questions:

QB: Kitna (He has austin and witten on his team does it hurt his value?)
    or Flacco

WR: Maclin, Colston, Joe Webb (only need 2)

    Flex: Torain, Choice, Webb, Morris?

I have to start 5 in a PPR league with no bonuses. Ray Rice, Ahmad Bradshaw, Rashard Mendenhall, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Lloyd, Mike Wallace.

The league has 11 players where everyone plays head-to-head against everyone each week, i.e. highest scorer goes 10-0, next highest 9-1, etc.

I was thinking: Rice/Mendenhall/Bradshaw/Bowe/Wallace. Lloyd has a great match-up but Tebow scares me. My gut tells me Wallace and Bowe are due. I can always bench my weakest RB (Bradshaw) and start Lloyd.

I have to got 10-0 this week, I have no room for errors.
