It’s starting to feel more like football season, eh? The SEC is back, the Big 12 is playing in conference games, and the Big Ten is now under a month away from football. If that’s not enough for you, the NFL is sizzling through two weeks and we are on to week 3. I have far fewer complaints about the level of play than I thought I would and I am thrilled about it. Do you all remember the first weeks of the officiating strike a few years back? Do you remember how watching football wasn’t nearly as enjoyable as a result? That is sort of what I was expecting, but here we are. The quality of play is fine, our star players are dynamic. The injury bug was bad last week, but if 2020 has taught us anything; if there is a sliver of hope for normalcy, you just have to embrace it.
Ahh, week 3. We’re all still in it. Even if you lost CMC or Saquon. In the swing of just one week, someone else in your league could be on the wrong side of injury luck. Keep grinding, folks. As always, I am here to answer all of your start/sit questions all morning! My updated rankings will be at the bottom of the post and you can find Donkey Teeth’s rankings here. Rankings
My apologies for not having a DFS segment this week. I didn’t have enough time to dive in heavily this week so I would rather not point you in the wrong direction. But I did have time to update my rankings! Enjoy.
Worth picking up jeff wilson to sit on bench? The drop would be trequan, b Edwards, or tee Higgins?
Other rbs are zeke, j rob, ekeler, Ingram (I basically have no useful rb depth on the bench and need to flip some extra wrs for a playable back)
Yeah you could, there’s always a chance Wilson carves out a role
I’m struggling to bench one out of this group: Josh Kelley, Diontae Johnson, Terry McLaurin, Chris Godwin. You’re rankings would say Diontae Johnson, but we haven’t really seen Godwin in Brady’s offense this year and Kelly’s emergence is over a pretty small sample size. Any thoughts are appreciated…
Well Kelley’s matchup is perfect and Godwin, I have faith that they’ll figure it out, which they will. So that’s. Why id bench Diontae. But I would hate to bench Diontae too
I have Julio and Adams out in a PPR league. I picked up Humphries and have Hopkins starting as well. Was thinking of putting AJ GReen in Humphries spot. What do you think? I started Cole in my flex spot and kinda wish I didn’t.
Ugh. That’s tough. Yeah, AJG I guess
Thanks for the great work MB,
12 team PPR…
Who should I start on my FLEX spot for week 3?
John Brown , Kelley or Lazard?
Thanks
Thanks for being a great reader.
I like Kelley, but no issue with starting Lazard
I saw your ranking of hunt as a flex for .5 ppr. Would you start him over beckham or lamb? Hunt is good. I like him as a rb, but the problem is the touches. He had a huge week last week, but was heavily out touched by chubb. That worries me. Thx
I have no problem playing Lamb over him if you’re worried about it
Seriously thinking about sitting Adams and Julio whether they are a go or not and just rolling with Amari and Ridley. What are your thoughts MB?
No issues with it whatsoever. Probably the safest play whether or not either plays
McKinnon, Mike Davis, Jeff Wilson or Singletary?
I’d give Singletary a go with Moss out
Should have mentioned its DraftKings.
McKinnon $4900
Singletary $4900
Davis $5100
Wilson $4000
Ahhhh, that changes things, I went McKinnon
Half PPR: which 3 would you play out of David Johnson, Jonnu smith, goedert, Antonio Gibson? Need to bench one of these guys.
Jonnu
Ok thanks! Just curious, How come your ranks have jonnu higher than goedert though?
Oh, I misread your comment. So sorry! Bench DJ.
Good stuff as always, MB…
Now that Julio is out…Gage or Kelley in the flex?
Thanks.
Sorry….no-frills 1/2 ppr…
Thanks!
Can’t go wrong with either. I’ve told everybody Kelley this week so I’m sticking to it
Wanted your thoughts on this trade : Last night some guy offered me Cam Akers for Darrell Henderson Jr… I felt I had to run and not walk to accept this trade. Was this as one sided for me as I thought it was? .5 PPR… I still feel that Akers is the RB to own for the Rams ROS
Yeah, I’m with you. Akers ROS for me
Who do you like it more as a bitch stash Non-PPR 10 team
Hamler or Pittman ?
LANGUAGE!
Hamler for sure
Seriously accident .my phone really irritates me when does hat
I know, just givin’ ya guff
on some you can turn off that auto correcting garbage (for sure iphones you can).
Oops sorry bench
Good call on Allen over Fuller flex start last week. We all know what Fuller did. Thank you!
