Oh wow, what a week. Tennessee Titans players continue to test positive for COVID-19 and now Cam Newton and a scout QB for the Kansas City Chiefs have also tested positive. The NFL has tentatively scheduled the Chiefs-Patriots for this Tuesday, which would count towards week 4 fantasy scores. The likelihood of this game actually happening this week seems bleak at best based on reactions from insiders’ reports of player reactions that would be involved. Some players simply don’t feel comfortable. Crippling the spread of this infectious illness throughout the NFL should be the first priority. I’m not an expert, but complete postponement of this game seems like a no-brainer. The NFL should also take into account that if the Kansas City Chiefs are forced to play on Tuesday, they have to play 3 games in 10 days. That seems… dangerous.

In other news, it’s an absolute miracle that nobody on the Minnesota Vikings hasn’t tested positive for Covid-19 after playing against the Titans in week 3. The Vikings’ players and staff have been tested every day this week and they do not have an outbreak in the organization at this point. So at least that is something positive to cling to as the NFL tries to combat the inevitable.

Navigating through the pandemic from a fantasy roster aspect is going to provide a lot of hoops to jump through. We are here to help you walk through the blaze. Good morning,
I have Davante Adams who is a GT decision. Should I play AJ Green or CeeDee Lamb instead? PPR league.

    • MB

Is MVS on the wire? If not then I guess play lamb. I’m playing Lamb over Tyreek because of the uncertainty of Chiefs playing this week myself

  4. Milkman says:
    (link)

Any reason why Tonyan so low? I have Him and MAC And Thought I’d have a decision with his 5-50/1 last week and 2tds in last two. No Lazard and shootout with ATL

Also according to your flex (I play 2 flex spots) Jeff Wilson jr would be a play over PWill, Cobb is that correct? High on JWJ? I’ve been riding your rankings and they’ve been Great so far. Just had these two Questions. Thanks for the hard work.

  5. The Harrow says:
    (link)

NO/DET the NO FB popped a false positive (nobody else had popped any positives for both teams) they are for sure playing normal time in a few hours. nobody else on NE popped any either, so if that holds for them and KC into today/tomorrow and possibly into tues that game likely plays tues.

How do you feel about McLaurin? He should be playing, but not a great matchup. Related, would you change anything, in a 8 team STD scoring league, about:

    QB: Murray
    RB: Jones, Taylor
    WR: Diggs, Kupp
    TE: Andrews
    FLEX: J Robinson
    K: Crosby
    D/ST: Tampa

Bench: McLaurin, Dobbins, Rodgers, Gallup, Freeman, Higgins, Boyd, Jefferson

    Thanks

I do like McLaurin this week, but I would keep your lineup as is

  7. Allan says:
    (link)

MB got a little bit of a dilemma. Normally my starting receivers and flex are Julio, Adams, and Ridley. With them all being game time decisions I am fortunate enough to have the option of starting Amari, Lamb, and Miles Sanders in the flex. Not as strong that way but no injury concerns. I also picked up Valdez-Scantling so he’s an option if I played one of them and they get ruled out. Not sure what to do here.

    • MB

      MB says:
      (link)

You can keep Adams in with the MVS scoop up and yeah, I have no problem playing Lamb and Sanders

Thanks for the great report MB!

    12 team PPR… decisions, decisions…

For my 3 WR spots I have Edelman, MacLaurin and AJ Green.
With the Pats questionable game and MacLaurin questionable tag…

Who do you recommend I start this week? I have on my bench.
Aiyuk, John Brown, Hardman and G Ward.

    Thanks again

McLaurin is active so I’d play him, I think Edelman is playing so I would play him, and I’d go Greg Ward for upside

  11. Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
    (link)

12 team PPR with full 1 pt per 10 return yards, same as scrimmage.
    starting:
    QB AAron
    RB (2) AAron, mont
    WR (2): parker, woods
TE (1) kelce (all indications KC plays)
    1 flex
    K: GB kicker
    team D: LAR vs NYG
    options at flex
    – ingram @ WAS
    – hardman vs NE (NE, so far the 6th worst opp team touchback % at 57.14%)
    – hines @ CHI (CHI so far the worst opp team touchback % at 31.25%)
    – p-will vs SEA (so i’d be stacking both parker/p-will then)

hardman’s got some negatives here, NE probably not all that likely to score much with hoyer (less kicks to return at all), also outside chance of not even playing. p-will in theory is nice, but he’s been barely used yet. on ingram, WAS is quite good at against the pass (2nd) but not so great against the run (18th, Foutsiders used for these), plus l-jax can just steal stuff (+ dobbins, + gus the bus sometimes too for no good reason). obv hines and hardman at least some of the time are barely used too (hines week 2, hardman def WAS week 3, but not before).

I think your best move is to double up on dolphin WRs. I’d go PW

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

good god, i’m watching this whole MIA game (did put in p-will over ingram/hines/hardman) if this was either just coached better or if fitz would just put in some of his own plays they’d be winning this game easily. most of these FG’s could’ve been TD’s, at least some of them (also had to add/play fitz in a league where i have tag/tannehill)

  12. Cubjet says:
    (link)

    Watson
    Or
    Fitzpatrick

Am I crazy for wanting to go with Fitz?

    • MB

      MB says:

No, but I’d still go Watson

  13. Desperate says:

Thoughts on this deal? Superflex league
    Qb: Watson/mayfield
    Rb: sanders/Michel/freeman/dobbins/Hyde/homer
    Wr:Hopkins/arob/chark
    Te: andrews.

    Give: Watson/Michel/freeman for newton/drake?

Also, what rb would you start this week after sanders?
    Thanks.

    • MB

I’d do that deal. I guess Hyde?

  14. Russowl says:

Yeah, Parker just because of the uncertainty

  15. toolshed says:

Kc and NE will play on mon now. I lost pit def this week so I added kc. Do I play kc who is at home vs a backup qb? Or is it too risky. I added Seattle who is at Miami yesterday as a backup plan. Thanks

    • MB

      MB says:
      (link)

Yeah, I’d roll with KC against Hoyer

There’s an argument to be made for Freeman. But Dobbins has the highest upside. Not sure how many touches Homer gets

Why so relatively high on Chark? In my mind the decision between him and P. Williams is close but you have Chark quite a bit higher.

  24. William Hung says:
    (link)

I think the Joshua Kelley train is about to crash hard – 2 straight weeks with a lost fumble… also when did Gus the Bus become a thing again? JK Dobbins outlook is bleak right now… not good for my RBs when I was banking on increasing roles from them as the season wore on…

    • William Hung says:
      (link)

Oh crap – just saw Ekeler got hurt… but still… those fumbles have got to stop – primetime oppo for Kelley

      • MB

        MB says:
        (link)

Justin Jackson might be a thing again

        • William Hung says:
          (link)

you think Jackson is a bell cow or would Kelley be the receiving back?

also, I was having buyers remorse in a trade where I gave up Henderson for Akers right before the game last Sunday… seems I was right to not believe in Henderson… Malcolm Brown is very much still a thing with the Rams, so hopefully Akers gets healthy and goes back to his early down role

  25. Dominic Brady says:
    (link)

Would you try to trade Joe Mixon after his game today for a more consistent back or do you think he can replicate. Same question with Odell?

  26. William Hung says:
    (link)

Looks like McKinnon is an every down back tonight. Jeff Wilson gonna put up that donut.

  27. Nick says:

Hey man – I think something was up with Razzball yesterday as the latest post I was seeing was from October 1st…& there were no comments appearing, only the one lengthy post I left which seems to have disappeared :(

    It was rather lengthy so I’ll try to sum it up…I have one open bench spot in my 12 team standard league & I have $76 remaining (middle of the pack). My team is as follows for week 5;

    QB-Brees
WR- Julio (hopefully healthy), Metcalf & AJ Brown
    RB- Gordon & D Henderson
    TE-Hurst
    Flex-Deebo
Bench- Crowder, Fournette, T Smith, Hines, Mattison & Chubb on IR

So for this weeks waivers, who do I target & how much funds to makeup for all my injuries? Options are D. Johnson (replace Chubb straight up), Swift, P Lindsay, C Edmonds, J Jackson at RB while WRs include T Patrick, Shenault, K Cole, Z Pascal. Also available is Fant at TE…thoughts?!
