  1. mike says:

    Whaaaaa?? How is Carolina’s defense ranked higher than New Orleans’? Seriously, that seems kkkkkrrrrraaaaaaazzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyy. (But I could be wrong.)

  2. Doc

    Doc says:

    @mike: No, you’re right. Something was effed up. I changed it.

  3. mike says:

    only noticed because i’ve got baltimore and new orleans and have to choose. based on carolina’s offense, i decided new orleans, but it’s a tough call. can see saints lightin’ up the scoreboard early and playing on their heels the rest of the way. can also see a wet, wet field in pittsburgh, a hard slog/field position struggle. I dunno… think I’ll stick with NO and hope they suck the fight out of Carolina.

  4. hideousmutants says:

    Hey Doc–what are your thoughts on Santonio Holmes? He was left on our wire so I grabbed him but left behind Torain and Brandon Lloyd. I’m more in need of WR at this point but I suppose Holmes is still a big question mark.

  5. RonWashington'sStache says:

    I think Heath Miller is missing from the TE rankings.

  6. TheEvilEmpire says:

    Doc who do you like for my last WR slot and the flex slot? non-PPR

    I’m thinking BJax for flex and Amendola for WR but I wanted your thoughts. THanks!

  7. TheEvilEmpire says:

    Also I think I want to pickup Heyward-Bey. Do you like him better than:

    james jones

    I’m wondering if now might not be the time to grab one of those buffalo receivers with fitzpatrick driving now.

  8. Joel says:

    If both SJax and PT can’t go, would you start Betts or Darby inthe flex? who’s a better start?

  9. Ballin says:

    I know this may be a bit early to ask right now but can you tell me which TOP 10 WR1s have the most favorable schedule for the playoffs (for non PPR – 10 team league)??

    I believe I’m a bit weak at my WR spots with Calvin Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, and Hines Ward and I am trying to trade for a better WR1 hoping that I will make the playoffs.

    Thanks for your help in advance.

  10. Donald87 says:

    I’m starting Kuhn this week as a fill-in but would it be better to drop him and start Torain since he would be better to roster long term? PPR. No clear favorite this week.

  11. Randy says:

    I have Finley as my TE. Don’t have a back-up. His bye week isn’t until 10. I plan on playing Finley every week. Owen Daniels is on waivers. FA’s are Boss, Gronkowski, Pettigrew, Scheffler, Fasano, Wells, Watson, and Shockey(but he has the same bye week as Finley). There are only 2 of us (12 man league) without back-ups. Is Daniels worth grabbing? or should I just wait and grab one closer to week 10?

  12. Rookie Season says:

    I am getting some inquiries for Reggie Wayne.

    If my backs are Addai, Moreno, Maroney/F.Jones, should I trade Wayne for LeSean McCoy straight up? Or would it be too much to ask for McCoy/Brandon Marshall or McCoy/Santana Moss? Or can you live with my RBs? :) Thanks!

  13. Joel says:

    One more Q: Would you trade welker for Dangelo or beanie in non-ppr? It would leave me with Austin, Maclin and Ward at wr, best, sjax, bradshaw, barber and one of those guys at RB. I’m really worried that Best is gonna be a problem for awhile.

  14. Christopher says:

    Bad bye week w/ AP and JC out. Left with Hightower and a choice between:
    1) D Brown: hasn’t practiced and looks iffy against the Jags
    2) Chris Ivory: healthy but the short yardage guy, maybe TD vulture
    3) Buckhalter: w/ Moreno out, #2 behind Maroney

    Thoughts? I’m leaning Ivory.

  15. Plainville says:

    Doc – I’m in a bind this week. Need to start two RBs – I have BJGE and Steven Jackson. On my bench, I have Jamaal Charles and Cadillac Williams – both on byes. Here are my options off waivers:

    To pick any of them up, I would have to drop one of these:

    Cad. Williams

    I am leaning toward taking my chances with Jackson and even if he can’t go, hope my other players can carry me. Let me know if you agree or if not, who you would drop/add. Thanks.

  16. herschel says:

    @Doc: Thoughts on Crabtree with the new O.C. in San Fran? Worth a start this week or wait and see what happens?

  17. Doc

    Doc says:

    @hideousmutants: I think he’s worth it.

    @RonWashington’sStache: Got it. Thanks

    @TheEvilEmpire: The matchups are good. I’d go with your first thought.

    @TheEvilEmpire: I’d give Bey a shot.

    @Joel: Darby.

    @Ballin: I plan on having a post about that in the near future.

    @Donald87: Tough call. I would rather have Torain, but Kuhn’s matchup is nice. I’d lean Torain.

    @Randy: I would give it a few weeks.

    @Rookie Season: I would like an upgrade at RB there. I could see asking for Moss, but if that doesn’t go, I’d take McCoy straight up.

    @Joel: I would go for DWilly.

    @Christopher: Yeah, best chance for a TD.

    @Plainville: Tough. I’d go for Lynch. And drop Gaffney.

    @herschel: I’d wait unless your other options aren’t very good.

  18. Johan says:

    suppose Pierre Thomas is out. Who do I roll with in flex (standard 12 team): Chris ivory/ladell betts, john kuhn, or Johnny Knox?
