I just snuck out of a court ordered gambling rehab facility to write this post, so I’ll have to be brief. After I was arrested for stealing old ladies’ purses from the retirement home down the block to fund my string of Arizona Cardinals’ Super Bowl wagers (a 50:1 lock!), the judge sentenced me to 6 month’s of in-patient rehab. Since I’ll be releasing my weekly fantasy football rankings each Thursday morning for the duration of the season, I’ve decided to throw in some bonus bold Thursday Night Football predictions along with my expertly handicapped pick for the contest (I picked my favorite Sunday game this week since Thursday was cancelled):
Cincinnati Bengals (+8) at Indianapolis Colts
Forecast: The ghost of A.J. Green heads to Indy this weekend to train with Philly Rivers. You see, Rivers has developed an elite shot put academy where he’s training his 19 children to become shot put champions. Green, in search of a new profession, has signed on as their newest recruit. Around lunchtime on Sunday Coach Rivers will take a break to play some football. In a battle of hyped rookies, Joe Burrow will be sacked 16 times in the blow out loss while Jonathan Taylor tames the timid Bengals defense with 220 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Colts 42, Bengals 17
Wager: Colts -8 (4 Units)
2020 Season: 0-5 (-4.95 Units)
Anyway, here’s my fantasy football rankings for week 6 which will be frequently updated until Sunday kickoff:

Great work as always!
10 team 2 QB start league. Main roster below:
Would u trade my LJackson /J.Robinson/Fournette for his MDavis/McCaffrey/Burrow?
It’s fair but I’d pass.
14m deep league, shallow FA pool:
1. Dropped Logan Thomas for Gronk, but slightly regretting it. Would you rather go with Irv Smith (although Atl game could be in doubt)
2. Picked up Perine. Better stash than Hill or malcom brown?
1. Meh I’d go with Gronk but they’re dart throws
2. Yeah I like the Perine stash. If/when Gase gets the ax maybe he gets a much bigger workload…
12 team non Ppr keep 3
Trade my mattison/Lindsay/3rd round pick for aj brown/Preston Williams/8th
Trade my mixon/mattison/7th for aj brown/boyd/3rd
They’re both fair, really depends on the rest of your roster. Are you good at RB? I prefer the first deal of the two.
really solid at rb
Zeke, Mixon, CMC, Harris, Lindsay, Edmonds, Mattison, Moss, Perine
Feel like Mixon has a bell cow role and his schedule gets a lot easier 8-16. Going to change my return to a 2nd instead of third or should I cancel that?
Nice. Yeah I’d do the first one, keep Mixon.
Thank you for the rankings once again. I’m looking forward to the 2027 draft to select one of his 19 children as my QB. Bronny Rivers?
Start Engram (Wash) or Tonyan (TB)? Your rankings say Engram and Wash D is poor, but can’t decide. Thanks!
No no, you don’t want Bronny! Dongus is the one to target.
Yeah I’d go with Engram but they’re close enough that if you have a feeling on Tonyan you should go with it.
let’s see (coin flip) if random goes with you 3 weeks in a row and if a pattern exists, lose.
wow, i flipped it so high it went to the back of my mantle, and did go with you again.
random (season): 0-2
against (season): 2-0
random: IND -8
against: CIN +8
Hopefully you’ve been betting the against!
Would you trade Russell Wilson for Clyde-Edwards Helaire? It’s a redraft league, single QB, 1/2 PPR. I have Josh Allen to replace Wilson. And Clyde would move Kenyan Drake to my Flex, to compete with AJ Brown, Melvin Gordon and Crowder for weekly starts in the Flex. Or would you just stick with the QB depth or seek a better trade?
I’d wait to make sure Bell doesn’t sign with KC. If he doesn’t then yes I’d pull the trigger.
Would you consider dropping AJ Green for Preston Williams?
My WR core is: McLaurin, Slayton, Green, Higgins, Gabriel Davis, Shenault, Reagor (IR)
Yeah I’d want Preston.
Keeper league, trade David Johnson for Justin Jefferson?
Depends…who else do you have at RB? Are you contending this year?
Long term I want Jefferson but for this year I prefer DJ. I wouldn’t want to jeopardize your 2020 run for the long term value.
Keep up the great work!
M. Williams or Gallup?
Williams for me. Thanks for reading!
Choose TWO of the below to hold as an upside bench/handcuff please.
10 Team / H2H / 0.5ppr
Thanks in advance!!!
Ingram and Murray. No problem!
PPR I have 3 flex spots avail with….. Mark Andrews…. AJ Brown…. Jamison Crowder…. OBJ …. CD Lamb …. & Robert Tonyan avail…..which 3 would you play this week
OBJ, Brown and Andrews
8 Team H2H 0.5PPR
I currently have Robinson II and Godwin as my WRs, Taylor and Gaskin as my RBs, and I have Sanders as Flex.
I’ve also got Fuller and Lamb on the bench.
Would you start either Fuller or Lamb over any of those guys above? How much do you trust Godwin this week if he plays?
I’d stick with who you having assuming Godwin plays. There’s a little risk but Godwin is still must start imo.
Which side do you like here in a PPR league…
D.J. Moore/Jeudy for Woods and Jamaal Williams.
I can live without Jeudy and am in desperate need of a win. Question is, will Woods be that much further ahead than Moore the ROS? The expert consensus seems to think so but it doesn’t seem so obvious to me.
I’d take the woods side if you don’t need Jeudy. They could be close but Robby Anderson has be come a torn for us Moore owners.
What’s up DT. I asked you a similar question the other day and you said get more.
Theilan for Devantae Parker and Marquise brown? PPR
I’m currently starting Golden Tate (or whatever is similar on the wire) each week, so either Brown or Parker would replace them.
could also maybe get bob woods and Shanault for Theilan
Would you do either of these deals if you owned thielan and if both, which one first.
Hey Crime Dog,
Not bad but still think you should be able to get more for Thielen. He’s producing and being valued as a top end WR1 right now.
Thanks DT this is helpful. You’re the biggest proponent of sell high on Thielan so if you say so then I’m def. going to try to get more or just hold.
Yes don’t rush it, you have time and maybe this is the year he doesn’t fade…I’m just not betting on it. Good luck!
who to start in 1/2 ppr flex out of damien harris, tee higgins, or michael gallup? Thanks
I’d start Higgins. No problem.
Engram with a great match up this weekend. If he falls flat, time to give up on him right?
Maybe, who are you other options?
Would you drop any of the following for Jamison Crowder?
I’m thinking long and hard about DJ Moore.
jefferson i’d do for crowder easily. crowder’s floor is 10 targets to jefferson’s 5 targets so far since jefferson got snaps. i’m assuming PPR here, this is closer if standard. dj moore vs jefferson is even closer, but MIN’s coaches sometimes just don’t have cousins throw nearly at all. out of all of these the only one who could easily post like a 2-20 game would be jefferson. his ceiling is also probably highest, but it’s also very unlikely he actually hits that ceiling at any given time (the @ SEA matchup was awesome, and didn’t work out to that much)
Tough, I think Jefferson, DJ and Crowder could all be close rest of season but push come to shove I’d take Crowder over Jefferson.
Thanks, DT and Cheese! Someone grabbed Crowder, so maybe it’s for the best. It is a standard league (not PPR).
No problem. Yeah don’t sweat it…
12 teamer PPR with 6 pt TD throws, 6 pt bonuses for going over 100 rush or caught yards or 300 thrown yards, return yards worth same as scrimmage. weekly reset waivers, got both of claypool/marv jones (wanted to get hooper for kelce backup but somebody with TE on bye over waivered him). now with: (this team lost barkley, we are a keep 1)
QB (1): AAron (off bye, this is good for ROS)
RB (2): AAron, d-mont, hines, j-will, ingram, j-jax (pretty sweet that i “lost out” on dern jo but got j-jax last week in waivers)
WR (2): woods, parker, shenault (seems an easy start this week if chark’s out), hardman, claypool (of course if shenault isn’t starting this seems easy start, probably is if d.johnson is out anyway), marv jones
TE (1): kelce
K (1): ARI kicker
DEF (1): LAR
1. best roster usage on that marv jones spot?
TE backups out there: gronk, brate (i know their snap %’s from week 5, gronk easily wins those, but he truly is per snap a blocker so far, no matter if that appeared to be a joke or not, at least when compared to brate’s targets per snap), akins (he gets these snaps not fells when he’s healthy), burton
QB backups out there: cousins, mayfield, wentz, lock,
team D backups (LAR possibly entering territory of not wanting to drop, this league scores large on team D’s and LAR are tied with TB at 5th per game at 15.6 per game): CLE (13.2 avg, never lower than 8), WAS, BUF, NYG, NO, GB, TEN,
LAR doesn’t have a bad matchup till their weeks 9 (bye) and 10 (SEA). these are the week 9’s for those above teams:
WAS vs NYG
TEN vs CHI
GB @ SF
NYG @ WAS
HOU @ JAX
kelce’s bye is week 10 though, so outside of injuries or something else i’d not be able to keep LAR and not start them AND have a backup TE by week 10.
Think I’d go with the Titans D there. None of the TEs are super exciting to me.
Dobbins or Hines in .5 PPR?
2 qb league: keeper league (you can keep 3 players for a maximum of 3 years)
trade taglovailoa, ($4) JK dobbins ($11) and Baker mayfield for Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Emanneuel Sanders.
qb- watson/ mayfield
rb- sanders/ freeman/ harris / dobbins
wr- hopkins/ robinson/ chark/ mike williams/ fulgham
IR- saquon barkley $25 to keep
It’s not bad and I don’t know your other keeper option prices but I’d pass. Tua and Dobbins and both solid keepers and could have immediate value down the stretch. I don’t see Ryan or Brees as as big upgrades over Baker.
yea i think i agree. that’s why I respect and enjoy an “objective” evalution from the razzball team.
my other keeper options are saquon barkley at $25, andrews $1, chark $2, miles sanders $11. my plan was to keep sanders, barkley and dobbins for my 3 next year.
again, appreciate the insight. only other thing I could think is swap out emmanuel sanders for either antonio gibson/ david johnson/ fournette and taking tua out of the deal? idk… owning baker has been a rough go for me but I may have to swallow my pride and march on. I’m becoming skeptical of tua ever playing this year…
I’d do it with DJ instead of Sanders. Andrews at $1 is a pretty great keep too…
Mr Teeth! Thank you, as always, for your rankings. You are my go-to on FFB advice.
So, out of my three top drafted RBs, one is on a bye this week, another is on IR, and the third is Kenyan bleeping Drake. Luckily, I cuffed him with Edmonds weeks ago, and the consensus of ‘sperts seems to be that the Edmonds will be the lead back, if not this week, then in just one or two more. Indeed, in my league, Edmonds already put up the better score last week.
But I’ve got to start 2 RBs this week and going by rankings I should start both of the ARI backs. That feels risky to me, though, since the way the game unfolds could leave me skunked at both RB slots. My only other options would be iffy spare parts guys you have ranked in the 30s like Adrian Peterson.
So question #1, should I go with both ARI backs this week or just one?
Question #2L if I do go with just one of Drake and Edmonds, my brain and everyone’s rankings tell me that it should be Drake . . . but my gut says Edmonds is going to put up the bigger total again. Actually, your rankings speak for themselves and have answered this question, so this is more an invitation to comment.
Hey sportive, appreciate you reading!
Since your other options are so unexciting, I’d roll the dice on Edmonds and Drake and just hope that one has a big game and the other has some yardage.
Thank you sir!
Hey there, 8 team H2H 0.5PPR
I was just offered Justin Jefferson and Robert Tonyan for my Will Fuller and DeVante Parker. I’ve been streaming TEs so pretty interested in getting Tonyan and I think I have the WR depth to give up both Fuller and Parker.
Also, I need a TE streamer this week since I dropped Hurst to bring Godwin back from IL. I’m looking at either Engram (W) or Irv Smith (FA), but not sure who to drop. I’m thinking Gibson, but that would leave me pretty thin at RB. Trading for Tonyan would definitely help here.
My WRs: Godwin, Robinson II, Fuller, OBJ, Parker, Lamb.
My TEs: Dropped Hurst to bring back Godwin from IL so none currently on my roster, although I’m waiting for Engram to come off waivers. Irv Smith also available.
RBs: Taylor, Sanders, Gaskin, Gibson, Drake
As always, thanks for your time!
Tough decisions with 8 teams! I think you’re overpaying for Tonyan there, I get that those are spare pieces but Engram might be just as good.
Agree you can probably let go of Gibson, when you need another RB there should be one on the wire.
Any chance of paying up for one of Kelce, Kittle, Waller or Andrews?
Worth taking a look. Coincidentally the guy with Tonyan also has Kelce so I figured he’d part with Tonyan more easily. It’s been a weird 8 team league…almost every team is carrying 2 or 3 TEs, which makes weekly streaming pretty rough. I’m still banging my head against the wall for dropping Gesicki for Hurst for week 5.
Looking to add some depth because of all the injuries and COVID madness in my 12-team 0.5 PPR.
What’s your ROS outlook on Emmanuel Sanders (esp. with Thomas back), Henry Ruggs III, and Mike Williams? All are available on waivers.
Also, is there any value to speculative pickup of La’Mical Perine, or should I stage an intervention and cut Adam Gase out of my life?
I like all of the but would go with Sanders. I think it took him a little time to acclimate to the new offense and thomas may even free him up.
Perines worth an add, Gase has to be gone soon…
10 Team PPR here. Here’s who I have.
QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Aaron Jones, Kenyan Drake
WR: Cooper Kupp, Jamison Crowder
K: Zane Gonzalez
I’m torn at FLEX. On my bench I’ve got: Higgins, Singletary, Fulgham, McKinnon, D’Ernest Johnson, Brandin Cooks, and Keenan Allen on the BYE.
Who would you suggest I play at Flex this week? I’m tempted to put Edmonds in because of his upside and move Drake to either Flex or my bench due to his lack of production (even though the opportunities are definitely there).
Need some more eyes on this one! Thanks!
Oh! And to clarify, I also have Chase Edmonds on my bench…thinking of starting him at flex
I’d go with Singletary and Drake but Edmonds is close to both….I don’t think he’d be a bad choice over either if that’s what your gut is telling you.
Good stuff, DT. I’m taking the over on 16 sacks on Burrow.
Help? Both are no-frills 1/2 ppr, 10-team…
1. Starting Stafford, Godwin, Woods, Henry, Mostert and Jonnu…Pick a flex: D Parker, Da Johnson, DJ Moore, Shenault…Johnson for floor, Parker for upside?
2. Underdog 1-4 team that has lost Barkley and Ekeler (Injury) and Ryan (Suckitude); starting Dalton, Woods, R Anderson, Hunt, Robinson and Jonnu…need a flex with upside: Drake, Boyd, Fulgham, or DJ Moore. (I have Chark too but I assume he’s out or a decoy this week.)
1. I’d go with David Johnson, you have some good options there though
2. I still think Drake has the best upside there
10 team non-PPR 10 points bonus at 100 rushing or receiving yards
I need two wide receivers and two for the flex
Thanks again donkey teeth
Gibson, Lindsay, OBJ, McLaurin for me. No problem, Russowl!
would you go with hardman or lindsay in 1/2 ppr at flex? thanks!
I’d go Lindsay. No problem!
minshew or one of these ROS: carr, dalton.
I’d go Minshew but pretty fluid group there
Wow. Adam Thielen who?
It’s Jefferson’s town now!
