Week 6 is upon us and we have some exciting games this week with some involving divisional rivals and others involving high powered offenses. This week I’m going to take a look at the best streamers and list different options for you to potentially pick up and start while your players are on byes.

Quarterbacks

Gardner Minshew (JAX): The Jaguars are facing a vulnerable Saints defense who ranks 30th in the league against opposing quarterbacks. Although the Jaguars run the ball a lot, Minshew has thrown at least 30 passes in 4 out of 5 games he has played. The game where he only threw 25 times, is the same game Nick Foles got hurt and Minshew replaced him. So we can expect him to have a big workload this week if they want to keep up with the Saints. Minshew is a quality streamer this week due to his volume and matchup.

Kyle Allen (CAR): Allen gets his 4th career start against the Bucs in a game that is played in London. Since this is a neutral ground, expect the Panthers to come out hot this week. The Bucs rank 32nd against the pass and 27th against opposing quarterbacks. In week 2 when they played, they shutdown Christian McCaffrey and since then, they have been pretty good against the run. If this is the case once again, the Panthers will be forced to beat them by passing. This shouldn’t be a problem for Allen and I expect him to have a big game this week.

Tight Ends

Vernon Davis (WAS): The Redskins get a matchup against the Dolphins in a game that should be voted the worst game of the week. Both teams are searching for their first win and possibly for the number 1 pick in the draft as well. Both defenses are bad and I expect a lot of points to be scored. The Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing tight ends and 31st against the pass. Vernon Davis may be one of the few bright spots in this game.

Kickers

Dustin Hopkins (WAS): Hopkins isn’t a sexy play but he is a safe play. Points will be easy to come by in this game and I expect Hopkins to benefit from this. The Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing kickers and for good reason. They give up a ton of points so it only makes sense if the kicker has a good game as well.

Brett Maher (DAL): The Cowboys have a good matchup against the Jets and I expect them to score a lot of points in this game after a disappointing loss to the Packers last week. Look for the Cowboys to come out hot and expect Maher to get you a minimum of 10 points this week.

Defenses/ST

Green Bay PackersThe Packers will face off with the Lions in a home game at Lambeau field. Division games are usually tough and I find it hard to think the Lions can produce a lot of offense versus a Packers team that is hot right now. I expect them to be very stingy this week.

Would you try and lowball for Diggs. Or have you given up on Minny wr play.

Also, what do you think is the trade value of Matt Breida, 12 man league.

I would wait and see how the Vikings offense looks in the next couple of weeks before trading for Diggs. He’s very talented but right now he’s not being used right. For Breida, I would sell him high because although he had a good game last week, he was still out touched by Coleman and you cant expect for Breida to have a long TD every week.

Who should i start Deebo or Dionte? Should i drop Deebo/Deionte for P. Williams or Edmunds/Bonnafon/Matison/Pollard just in case of an injury. I have Sammie but he might not play. so i need either a wr or a flex spot.

I would pick up P. Williams because he is going to have more opportunity and you cant trust anyone on the Steelers right now due to them having a 3rd string quarterback in. With Deebo, he just has to much competition on that team to be reliable.

I really want to move on from Diggs and just got an offer. Djax for Diggs in a half ppr league. Do you do it?

I understand your frustration but I will say that you should hang on to him for now or at least until you get a better offer. Djax is ok but you don’t want to trade Diggs to early and then he starts to blow up. Hang on to him for another 2 or 3 weeks then make your call.

Got offered OBJ for Josh Jacobs straight up. In a vaccum, should I do it?

For this trade I would say it depends on what your wr and rb core would look like before and after the trade. Only make the trade if its truly beneficial for your team.

    Drop Rivers for Minshew?

I would, Minshew has played very well and his volume is better right now then Rivers plus when Nick Foles comes back he still should be the starter.
