Week 6 is upon us and we have some exciting games this week with some involving divisional rivals and others involving high powered offenses. This week I’m going to take a look at the best streamers and list different options for you to potentially pick up and start while your players are on byes.

Quarterbacks

Gardner Minshew (JAX): The Jaguars are facing a vulnerable Saints defense who ranks 30th in the league against opposing quarterbacks. Although the Jaguars run the ball a lot, Minshew has thrown at least 30 passes in 4 out of 5 games he has played. The game where he only threw 25 times, is the same game Nick Foles got hurt and Minshew replaced him. So we can expect him to have a big workload this week if they want to keep up with the Saints. Minshew is a quality streamer this week due to his volume and matchup.

Kyle Allen (CAR): Allen gets his 4th career start against the Bucs in a game that is played in London. Since this is a neutral ground, expect the Panthers to come out hot this week. The Bucs rank 32nd against the pass and 27th against opposing quarterbacks. In week 2 when they played, they shutdown Christian McCaffrey and since then, they have been pretty good against the run. If this is the case once again, the Panthers will be forced to beat them by passing. This shouldn’t be a problem for Allen and I expect him to have a big game this week.

Tight Ends

Vernon Davis (WAS): The Redskins get a matchup against the Dolphins in a game that should be voted the worst game of the week. Both teams are searching for their first win and possibly for the number 1 pick in the draft as well. Both defenses are bad and I expect a lot of points to be scored. The Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing tight ends and 31st against the pass. Vernon Davis may be one of the few bright spots in this game.

Kickers

Dustin Hopkins (WAS): Hopkins isn’t a sexy play but he is a safe play. Points will be easy to come by in this game and I expect Hopkins to benefit from this. The Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing kickers and for good reason. They give up a ton of points so it only makes sense if the kicker has a good game as well.

Brett Maher (DAL): The Cowboys have a good matchup against the Jets and I expect them to score a lot of points in this game after a disappointing loss to the Packers last week. Look for the Cowboys to come out hot and expect Maher to get you a minimum of 10 points this week.

Defenses/ST

Green Bay Packers: The Packers will face off with the Lions in a home game at Lambeau field. Division games are usually tough and I find it hard to think the Lions can produce a lot of offense versus a Packers team that is hot right now. I expect them to be very stingy this week.Â
