Peyton Manning, Matt Schaub, Mark Sanchez and Matthew Stafford are all on byes which makes this week’s QB Rankings a little thinner than usual.  There are a lot of tough decisions here and not one of these is cut and dry, but nothing in this game is.  I suppose that’s what makes it fun.

    If you have Brett Favre and Vince Young at QB and have Chris Johnson, Pierre Thomas, Jahvid Best, Ryan Torain, Ringor and FJax at RB…would you trade Torain for Kyle Orton?

  2. Doc

    @Derrick: Yeah

    Trade question. League spec is 16 teams and start 1 qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 1 te and a kicker each week. I am looking to improve my team without giving up key parts. Right now I have both Cutler and Orton for qbs. Fitz, welker, knox, roy e williams at wr. Steven Jackson, Torain, Marshawn Lynch, and Jonathon Stewart at RB. Having some depth at running back in my league teams are looking for help in that department and constantly offering trades. I was offered this trade….let me know what you think:

    I get: Brett Favre, Roddy White, Rashad Jennings

    I give: Kyle Orton, Johnny Knox, Marshawn Lynch

    I feel like I’m helping the other team improve a lot while he is giving up one stud player. If Cutler was in the deal instead of Orton I may actually consider it more because for some reason Cutler scares the crap out of me because of how inconsistent he is/has been lately. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

    Brady’s had some pretty meh’ games. Do you like him to bounce back?

  5. Black Beard says:

    Better to own going forward: Tate, Woodhead, or Ivory?

    I know D’s are D’s, but would you drop Vikings for Seahawks or just hold? I don’t have anybody else to drop.

    Question:

    I have 4 rb’s

    Turner vs Cinnci
    Deangelo vs SF
    bradshaw vs dallas
    lynch vs arizona

    who would you roll with?

    Im like lynch at home vs arizona, but i’d be hard pressed to bench any of the other 3.

    This week (and i suppose for the rest of the season?): Welker or H Ward?

  9. Doc

    Doc says:

    @cruisinkc: I don’t like it for you. I usually go with the side with the stud player, but not here.

    @Mike S: YEah, he’s not going to put up huge numbers, but he will be ok.

    @Black Beard: Ivory

    @stumanji: I’d probably give Seattle a try

    @agarthered: Just 1? Still gotta lean Turner.

    @tcqmvp: Interesting. I would lean Ward.

    No sorry i meant i have to bench one of the, judging by your rankings, youd bench deangelo?

  11. Nate says:

    @cruisinkc:
    I would drop Farve and Lynch out of the equation and then just roll with Cutler. Farve would not be a huge upgrade if any from cutler and you really don’t need two qb’s. Lynch also has one of the easiest schedules ahead of him for an RB. Rashad Jennings adds nothing to the deal since your deep at RB already. I’d try orton and Knox for roddy white and farve and see what he says

  12. Damion says:

    should I go with Kolb or Ryan??? Lynch or Bush at flex??? should I drop floyd for crayton???

  13. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Damion: Kolb, Lynch, don’t drop Floyd.

  14. Damion says:
    (link)

    ok, so here’s lineup:
    qb-Kolb
    wr-Bowe
    wr-Austin
    rb-Mccoy
    rb-rice
    flex-lynch
    te-heap
    k-bryant
    def-san fran
    what do you think??? should I pick up a crayton and put him in for flex or WR over the guys I have in now?
    and is heap better than maoki this week???

  15. Damion says:
    (link)

    Kolb over Ryan….isnt kolb playing a tough titans D and Ryan playing a somewhat depleted Cinci D??

  16. Damion says:
    (link)

    cassel over kolb or ryan? and what about crayton over lynch or bush?

  17. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Damion: I like both, but Heap’s matchup is a little better. I like the Eagles pass first attack. Cassel could do it again, but Kolb looked good against a tough D. Cassel hasn’t looked good that often.

  18. Damion says:
    (link)

    and crayton??? over lynch and bush?

  19. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Damion: If McFadden plays I could see going with Crayton. But I would lean Bush unless we hear more.

  20. Damion says:
    (link)

    but you said lynch over bush earlier?? so lynch over bush? and bush over crayton if mcfadden doesnt play?

  21. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Damion: Yes

  22. Damion says:
    (link)

    so lynch over both bush and crayton? Im confused

  23. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Damion: Just like you said, Lynch over Bush and over Crayton if McFadden doesn’t play
