We killed it last week with our starts and sits. Besides Antonio Gibson, we hit on every position! No time to dwell on the past, though. We have to keep moving forward, and I have to keep helping you win your fantasy leagues.

Let’s keep it rolling. Here are my Week Eight Fantasy Football Starts and Sits:

QB Start: Kirk Cousins vs. Cardinals

The Vikings are coming off a bye, and get to face a Cardinals secondary that ranks 24th against QBs. This game isn’t a primetime one, and the Vikings’ offense has been rolling these last few weeks. Whether it’s primarily Justin Jefferson or the wealth gets spread around, Cousins should have a big day. If you need a streaming option, Kirk could be your guy in Week Eight.

QB Sit: Trevor Lawrence vs. Broncos (London)

Unless your QB’s name is Geno Smith, chances are they struggled against the Broncos’ defense. Lawrence has had some decision-making issues, and this is a game where I expect the Jaguars to run the football in London. This certainly isn’t an ideal matchup for Lawrence, so I’ll keep him on my bench this week.

RB Start: Travis Etienne Jr. vs. Broncos (London)

In the Jaguars’ backfield, I love Travis Etienne going forward this season. He’s officially the RB1 in Jacksonville after James Robinson was traded to the Jets. Etienne will now be used in all facets of this offense. The Broncos rank pretty well against running backs, but Etienne’s full workload and volume should allow him to be productive this week in Fantasy Football.

RB Sit: David Montgomery @ Cowboys

The Chicago Bears pulled off an upset against the Patriots on Monday Night Football, but now they head to Dallas on a short week. The Cowboys have had a top 5 defense this season, and they rank 2nd against running backs. Don’t be fooled, the Bears’ offense is nowhere near explosive or dynamic. Chicago will most likely lean on Justin Fields to run the ball, and I don’t expect Montgomery to get any push from this below-average offensive line. Don’t start David Montgomery in Week Eight.

WR Start: Chris Olave vs. Raiders

Chris Olave is officially “QB Proof” in this Saints offense. He has seen production whether it’s been Jameis Winston or Andy Dalton under center. With Michael Thomas out, Olave seems like the number-one option in this offense. The rookie gets another prime matchup against a Raiders defense that ranks 22nd against wide receivers. I expect this production to continue. Put Chris Olave in your Week Eight lineup.

WR Sit: Romeo Doubs @ Bills

The Packers have been struggling, to say the least. Especially on offense, it has been disastrous for Green Bay this season. Romeo Doubs was supposed to be great, but his failure has been a product of the Packers’ offensive woes. The Bills are top-ten against wide receivers, and I don’t expect Green Bay to do much against Buffalo. This keeps Romeo Doubs out of my starting lineup in Week Eight.

TE Start: Dalton Schultz vs. Bears

Dalton Schultz and I have had a complicated relationship. He landed on my “Sit” list for two straight weeks, but now he moves into the “Start” section. For some reason, Cooper Rush didn’t like throwing to Schultz. However, Dak Prescott does. Schultz has been most productive in Weeks One and Seven… the two weeks Dak Prescott has played. With the Cowboys playing against the Bears, it’s a great matchup for Schultz. He should see enough targets to be a start-worthy player. I’ll put him in my lineup this week.

TE Sit: Tyler Conklin vs. Patriots

Tyler Conklin was a really good fantasy TE… for four weeks. Since Zach Wilson came back, the Jets have stuck to their offense and run the ball (a lot). Without Joe Flacco throwing 50+ times per game, the Jets’ pass catchers have taken a hit in fantasy value. Conklin isn’t getting the volume to be a starting TE in Fantasy Football, so he’s going to the bench in Week Eight.
