To be honest, I have a lot of QBs I could make a lead for this little weekly ranking ditty.  I just happened to highlight Christian Ponder because his name is easy to pun with.  Some take the high road, others take the low road, meanwhile I just wanna set things to cruise down easy street sometimes.  Don’t worry, I’m an excellent driver.  The reason for all this QB madness?  It’s a perfect storm of bad matchups for high ranking guys, good matchups for low ranking guys and an injury to Robert Griffin, III that leaves me doubting him for week 6.  My top ten QBs has more controversy in it than a Howard Stern show from the 90’s.  Everyone will be talking about it around the water cooler.  Well, you and a friend who doesn’t read this site, of course.  It will be a fun conversation.  Needless to say, I like some guys this week more than others.  Do I like the idea of Matthew Stafford 14th?  No, but I also think the Eagles proved they could shut down even an efficient Big Ben who tossed for 207 and scored nothing.  Stafford has not been looking good this year and I don’t think Philly will do him any favors this week.  In other forms of controversy…well, I don’t think I really have any at this time.  Maybe Reggie Bush is higher on my list than others but while people have adapted to Trent Richardson being a top 10 back, people have avoided that idea with Bush.  I can’t explain it and it’s not my job to.  I have him 6th versus a mediocre STL defense.  Then there’s DeSean Jackson.  Apparently I just can’t quit this man.  Tough week against the Steelers defense last week and still turned out 4 recs for 58.  I’m keeping the faith vs a Lions defense that has not been very impressive this season.  Other than that, pretty much business as usual so with that, on with the rankings…oh now, that would be a lie because today I have two things.  First off, I’m still in those pesky meetings I’ve been mentioning all week.  I informed my supervisor that these were really impeding on my fantasy football life but they looked at me like I didn’t want a paycheck anymore.  I didn’t like that look and changed my mind.  So I will get back with your comments as soon as possible but will be very limited in access all day.  If you have start/sit questions for tonight’s game, I’ll do my best to get to them, just realize duty calls.  Secondly, we have two winners from our giveaway of The League, Season Three in conjunction with ThinkJam.  I evaluated it as such.  If you placed a guy that was not in the top 10, I gave you negative 10 points.  If you placed a guy in the top 10 and he was truly, I gave you 5.  If you hit the nail on the head and actually ranked a guy not just in the top ten but at his actual spot in the rankings for the week, I gave you a plus 10.  So with those rules out of the way, the two winners this week are jdbus and TheRealTaz as they both got 7 out of 10 while also getting at least one person (Rivers and Peyton, respectively) spot on.  Hopefully we get that stuff out to you in the mail shortly.  And even though there’s no consolation prize, I did want to give a shout out to my man S-Quire for actually nailing three guys in their spots with Brees, Rodgers, and Eli.  Unfortunately it just wasn’t enough to overcome 5 guys not in the top 10.  Ok now with that we really get on with our rankings.
