So you just got into your uncle’s start up league and are taking on the brain trust of Cousin Jed, Aunt Loretta, and Grandpa Joe. So you are pretty sure these will be easy pickings and there are inheritances to win, but for some reason Uncle Red set it up as a 2 QB league and now you have to actually think about what you are doing.

The NFL madness has it’s foot firmly on the gas and firmly up our arse. Trades and free agent signings are happening so fast around the NFL it’s making my head hurt. I must be a glutton for punishment, because I friggin’ love it. Every day there’s a twist or turn, and every tweet from Adam Schefter is like opening a Christmas present. Welcome back, football.

Welcome to our wide receiver rankings. They are here for your amusement. Don’t they entertain you? Are you not entertained!?
Please, blog, may I have some more?We continue to see tons of fantasy relevant moves coming down the pipe. Some good, some not so good, but they are what they are and we will somehow have to trudge through. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it.
Please, blog, may I have some more? Here is a table I threw together to help track signings and rumors of signings and rumors of sightings and aliens and government conspiracies. I’m sticking to fantasy relevant players (and some not so fantasy relevant) and it’s late so if I’ve forgotten a whole slew of players hit me up in the comments so I can fix it.
Please, blog, may I have some more?THE NFL LOCKOUT IS OVER! I don’t mean to yell but…well…yes I do! Football is back baby! Fantasy football is back too, so we finally have something entertaining to make us look busy at work. No more clicking mouses and shuffling paperwork hoping the boss thinks we’re actually doing something productive when in reality we aren’t doing a (expletive deleted) thing.

(Doc’s note: First off I’d like to thank everyone for sending in entries for the first round. I had an extremely difficult and rewarding time narrowing these down. As the chief honcho here at Razzball and a nerdy English professor, I found good stuff in every entry and feel like all of you have the ability to improve and become bad ass fantasy writers.
Please, blog, may I have some more?First, a huge thanks to everyone who submitted. We had more than fifty entries, so the competition was stiff. But, in the end, we felt there were two runners-up and a winner who stood out in Round 1.
Here’s the official topic for Round 2: Who is your number one sleeper in all of fantasy football for 2011, and why?
Please, blog, may I have some more?I thought we’d try out a new service here at Razzball while we amp up for the return of real football. I sent out our first Newsletter last night and I wanted to let ya’ll know about it. I wanted to have a way to stay in touch with all you hep cats and give you updates on the site and goings on etc… and well, to be able to cuddle up with you in your email.
