I am getting my rankings out a little earlier than usual since the Ravens play the Falcons tomorrow night, so these might change significantly as news breaks and if I know anything about news, I know it’s fragile. So here is some truthiness for you.
But before we get to that FantasyPros.com provides this widget for us and we are in the top 5 and led last week’s accuracy rankings. So check them out.

10-team PPR trade advice solicitation:
I get: Brady Tom + SJax
He gets: M. Turner
My QB is Schaub; backup Fitzpatrick. ick.
I get Chris Johnson+D. Woodhead
He gets Gore+H. Nicks
is Johnson that much better than Gore from here out?
@batman the horse: Brady is almost a QB2 at this point. I think i would stick with your guys.
@robert: Nope. You’d be giving up way too much there.
For whatever reason (probably my own stupidity) I cant actually see the rankings this week, this box isn’t loading. With that being said, 1 ppr, Stevie Carolina smith, Danny Amendola, and Mike Thomas, who’s the start?
Always my #1 spot for rankings, Doc. And for advice.
PPR league.
WR3?
Lee Evans, Steve Breaston, Nate Washington, or pick up Derrick Mason or Danny Amendola?
Is anyone else having trouble seeing the rankings?
No trouble seeing the rankings.
Roethlisberger or Flacco? I know you have Ben much higher but Flacco has been far superior in the last four games and Belichick, coming off a big loss and w/o film from New Orleans showing him how to beat the Steelers, has me nervous. I’m probably overanalyzing but the thing I keep going back to is Flacco’s general studliness (11/1;TD/INT) over the past six games compared to Ben’s inconsistency (2 good games, 2 lousy ones) since returning from suspension)
HELP!
Yeah, I read everything on my BlackBerry and I can’t see the rankings either. The rest of the site looks great though. Razzball is the only thing that keeps me awake on my commute.
Go Browns!
Who is a better flex play this week:
Santana Moss, Ryan Torain, Marshawn Lynch or Mike Williams (TB)
@Doc: I can see it with Internet Explorer but not with Firefox
Hmm, I’m seeing it on both IE and Firefox.
which 2 to start.. i got blount, jones drew and jaamal charles, thanks
@Broadstreetbrawler: Thomas
@Mo: I’d lean Evans
@hideousmutants: Well, you gotta go with your gut. I like Ben at home against the Pats.
@Plainville: Lynch
Should I start Steve Johnson BUF or Steve Smith NY in my PPR league?
What do you think about trading Bowe and Ryan Mathews for Megatron? I think Bowe is kinda fluky and I’m banking on Mathews never being healthy/productive the rest of the year.
If Daniels is out, how far do you bump Dreessen up from #18?
I can’t see the rankings, but my work filter might be to blame.
In a standard non-PPR points league, do I…
Start Cutler vs. The Vikes (which seems like a bad idea)?
Put in Carson Palmer instead?
Or pickup Garrard for one-week?
Thanks. Your advice has this noob still in the running.
Danny Woodhead or Lee Evans in a ppr?
I have 4 stud RB (Foster/Bradshaw/S-Jax/Hillis) in a league where I can start up to 3. So far I’ve used matchups pretty successfully to decide who to sit, but this week I’m torn between sitting Hillis or Jackson. I’m leaning toward giving Hillis the short end of the stick vs. NYJ, but your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, Doc.
Do you (or anyone else) think it would be stupid to sit Miles Austin for Boldin, Evans, and Nate Washington (or Derrick Mason)? Austin is just KILLING me.
@SDPete: Agreed, that is tough to sit Hillis, but I think you have to go with the numbers.
@Dan: Evans
@El Famous Burrito: I’d try hard to get Garrard for this week.
@Jim Parkey: Probably 10-12
@Jake: Tough call, but i think you have to go with SJohn
Hey Doc, in a return yardage (1pt for 10 PRY/1pt for 30 KRY), .5PPR league who would you play as a flex of these three?:
Felix Jones
Eddie Royal
Tony Moeaki
It seems like the smart play, because it’s a return yardage league would be Royal, the upside play would be Moeaki and the “pray for something” play would be Jones.
Thoughts?
@Mo: It’s not stupid. He is on par with those guys right now.
@BAM: I’d lean Royal
@i have janikowski in one league and dont really want to drop him, but nobody is droppable on my bench. should i just go ahead and drop him or drop one of the below
daily show
fred jackson
my rb are weak though (blount and CJ)
@antonio bromartie: Normally I’d say a kicker is a kicker is a kicker, but Stewart is very droppable at this point. Williams is slated to come back soon, and even if J-Stew gets a start, that offense is offensive.
you have minnesota defense better than arizona this week?
Hey Doc,
Quick question: PPR League, 1RB, 2WR, 1 Flex. Who’s the odd man out this week?
Steven Jackson
LaGarrette Blount
Roddy White
Mike Wallace
Mike Williams (TB)
Need one RB and one flex:
Torran/Williams I have both
Wells
Shonne Greene
Mike Goodson
Santonio Holmes
Knox
Hey Doc
Charles, Mendenhall , Turner
start 2?
wow steve smith of CAR is insanely low on this list. Is he worth holding onto at all this season? Drafted him in a PPR league over Greg Jennings, have been hating myself all season.
Rank these in order going forward please
Breaston
Santanio Holmes
Blair White
Jacoby Jones
What is the deal with DeAngelo Williams? I know the QB situation suks…but is it a good week to buy low on him? Stewart seems like he has a hefty-headache….
I am stacked at WR ( Andre3000, Boldin, Steve Johnson, Crabtree, Santana Moss & now I got Sidney Rice coming off my IR)…I was going to offer S.Moss for DeAngelo for some needed help at RB.
What do you think? Will he play and play effectively going forward?
Thanks!
@antonio bromartie: For this week I’d drop him for Fred. Do you have 2 kickers? No need for 2. I can see dropping JStew for someone too.
@Don Tom: Cutler is mor interception prone than Hass.
@Kevin W: Williams
@Gary: Goodson/Holmes
@Nate: Why do you hurt me so? I guess sit Turner.
@trick dad: I would drop him if there is anything decent out there.
@Don Tom: Holmes, White, Jones, Breaston
@rorke: That offense is God awdul and they just lost Otah. I could see taking a flier on him if it doesn’t hurt your team, but don’t give up too much.
thanks doc
trying to choose between them each week is tough, but it’s a good problem to have, you’ve been correct every time so far…. SO IN DOC I TRUST
Ok here are my starters David Garrard, Stephen Jackson, Ray Rice, Maurice Jones Drew, Brandon Lloyd, Terrell Owens, Aaron Hernandez, Nick Folk, and the Bucs D. I have Steve Johnson on the bench, my question is should I bench like a Stephen Jackson for him or another player for him?
@Angelo Brown: I’d go with what you have.
@Nate: Good luck!
Appreciate it as always
@doc, thanks i dont think i explained it correctly though. my only kicker is janikowski and the question was should i drop him for another kicker or hold onto him and drop fjax/j stew for a kicker for the week
@antonio bromartie: Ah. I would drop Stew.
Doc, I gotta pick 2 to start, Hillis, D.Brown and Lynch
@ doc – cutler, hill or V Young this week?
Thanks Doc!! Very cool you take time to reply to everyone……!!!
@Jeff: Hillis/Brown
@mac: Hill
@rorke: No problem. Good luck this week!
Does Manningham replace Steve Smith, due to pec strain, at #17 this week?
Just discovered the site. It’s already bookmarked. Great stuff.
Quick I – I found myself in a position this week where I found a trade partner dangling Drew Brees for a running back. With Foster/R. Rice as my top two RB options, M. Forte served as a Flex1/2 option in the last couple of weeks. Anyways, after losing Stafford, I only had M. Ryan as a QB option. Therefore, I pulled the trigger for a potentially consistent quarterback option and weakened my flex options moving forward (although Addai/S. Rice loom on my bench in the coming weeks).
Thoughts?
Okay, one more question –
I got CJ2K, Ronnie Brown, Shonn Greene, Ryan Torain — need to start two…..who do I play with CJ..?
Torain’s hammy seems like it could still cause problems…..should I roll with Ronnie Brown?
Did you hear anything about Ricky Williams, why did he only get two carriers last week?
