Weekly RefreshÂ
Taking inventory of target share (TS) and snap share (SS) data is a critical tool to help with start-sit decisions, and provide a framework for buy-low/sell-high trade candidates. Every Wednesday the Target Report will highlight key TS/SS data and takeaways from the weekend.Â
Success in fantasy football is built around opportunity, especially consistent opportunity. Don’t get caught up only chasing fantasy points. Peyton Manning focused more on what happened between endzones versus what transpired on the scoreboard. It is important not to overreact to a poor fantasy outing when the usage is still there. Or overreact to a fantasy explosion for a player that barely found the field or was barely targeted in the game. Trust the data and trust the process…

Each week I'll be spending countless hours flipping coins in order to determine an order for my weekly rankings which will be published bright and early each Wednesday morning. It's an elaborate round-robin coinflipping system for each position. Wide receivers alone take me a full Monday worth of coin flips. And I'm currently in the process of filing for workers comp due to carpal tunnel. But it's well worth it, knowing that you, the loyal Razzball reader, appreciate my pain and sweat. Just so you know you can trust me, here's how my coin flipping system stacked up against all of the other 149 industry analysts competing against me in the 2020 Fantasy Pros Weekly Ranking Competition:
Anyway, here's my week 6 rankings for half PPR 2021 fantasy football that will be frequently updated by coin flip up until kickoff:

B_Don and Donkey Teeth are back to discuss some of the 2021 breakout players. We discuss all sorts of players from those that may have jumped to the elite tier or players that we didn't see coming. Then, we discuss their value over the rest of the season and discuss where they rank at their position and whether or not you should be selling.Â
We start with a couple big injuries to Russell Wilson and Saquon Barkley. We move on to some RBs and we look at Austin Ekeler, Cordarrelle Patterson, Aaron Jones, Jonathan Taylor, and Michael Carter. We also discuss the likely high priority waiver claims this week in Darrel Williams and Devontae Booker.Â
We continue our breakout discussion with wide receivers. Nobody has climbed like Mike Williams and Deebo Samuel. Rookie sensation Ja'Marr Chase hasn't disappointed, but do the guys think he keeps it up? We also talk about what we expect from another hot pickup of the week in Kadarius Toney. We wrap up the show with some thoughts on tight ends. Is it finally Kyle Pitts SZN and where does he fit among TEs? What about the TD making Dawson Knox? And we discuss whether it's time to panic on Darren Waller.Â

Tuesdays at Razzball Fantasy Football are going to be "lit," as the kids say. Although I'm not sure if the kids put it in quotation marks, I'll have to check in with VH1 on that. Regardless, we have the one and only The Joey Wright leading off every Tuesday morning with his in-depth waiver wire advice column. Then Blair spins his MNF narrative with an eloquent Monday Night Football recap and Paul Blake shares some deep league thoughts. Finally, I'll bring it up the rear with my rest of season rankings broken down by position. Reminder, these rest of season rankings are only a very rough guideline to be used for trade formulation and other roster decisions. These are geared toward half PPR formats and should be adjusted accordingly for your particular league settings. Anyway, here's the updated positional rankings for the rest of the half PPR 2021 fantasy football season:
*Note: Sortable rest of season rankings will be published on Thursday afternoons. Until then, check out Rudy's sortable rest of season rankings and projections. Also, don't forget to purchase our tools subscription (we have a FREE 3-day trial!!!) for detailed weekly projections, snap counts and target share data. You won't regret it!
I often find myself excavating free agency for Wide Receivers to fill out the bottom of my dynasty roster. For what am I digging? Three characteristics: first speed, second opportunity, third situation. The most common characteristic among NFL WR is they are fast, so I start with speedy players. Opportunity is everything in the NFL. If you don't get the ball, you can't score points in fantasy football, so I track targets. The situation often correlates to success. When looking for WR consider the quarterback and scheme. I have a list of players here that meet the criteria:

I watched my first boxing match on Saturday night since Conor McGregor "fought" Floyd Mayweather four years ago. I must say, the big dudes this weekend were quite entertaining. I especially enjoyed the theatrical entrances to the ring from Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury—it was like the movie 300 meets the Dave Chappelle's Prince skit. Game. Blouses. But my goodness, Wilder was pummeled by the Gypsy King in that heavyweight bout. The only ones beat up worse than the Bronze Bomber this weekend were the New York Giants who lost Saquon Barkley to a nasty-looking sprained ankle, Daniel Jones to a concussion and Kenny Golladay to a hyperextended knee. But as the old saying goes: when one ankle swells to the size of a doggy door, another buy-window opens. Devontae Booker may only have a week or two in the limelight, but if Sunday was any indication (16 carries for 42 yards, 3 receptions for 16 yards and 2 touchdowns), Booker should see a heavy workload until Barkley is back and should be added everywhere. That's not the only Giant buy this week, though. First-round rookie Kadarius Toney erupted for 189 receiving yards on 10 receptions. Captain Obvious here again to tell you Toney is worth a roster spot in your league. Yes, your league too. The kid might have catapulted himself into the alpha role for the Giants, which is a very fantasy-friendly role as they'll be playing from behind often this year. Toney and Booker with be two of the top adds for week 6 with Toney possibly holding substantial value for the remainder of the year. Anyway, here's some more players to buy or sell this week in fantasy football:

Sunday morning has arrived and you spent all weekend on a drinking binge? Or worse (maybe better?), you've been up for 48 hours on six different types of drugs? Fear not, Razzball has all of your last-minute fantasy football needs covered. Over the past two days, Bobby has covered the best defensive matchups this week for both Wide Outs and Slot Receivers. Yesterday Skorish went through every fantasy-relevant injury to keep an eye on in his weekly Fantasy Football Injury Report. Down below I'll give you some sneaky start options who might be available in your free agent pool if you're in a bind, as well as my recently updated week 5 rankings for half PPR leagues. Feel free to ask me questions in the comments if you think the rankings don't address your specific circumstances. And please, please, please consider purchasing our 2021 fantasy football tools subscription. As intelligent and handsome as we all agree I am, my rankings are still packed full of bias and human error. Rudy's computer model minimizes the human inputs and leans heavily on raw, untainted data inputs to provide a very valuable, differing viewpoint. Plus you receive all kinds of other benefits with your subscription including next-day snap count and target rate data. Anyway, here's a few sneaky starts for week 5 of the 2021 fantasy football season:
