Sunday morning has arrived and you spent all weekend on a drinking binge? Or worse (maybe better?), you’ve been up for 48 hours on six different types of drugs? Fear not, Razzball has all of your last-minute fantasy football needs covered. Over the past two days, Bobby has covered the best defensive matchups this week for both AFC and NFC fantasy wide receivers. Yesterday Skorish went through every fantasy-relevant injury to keep an eye on in his weekly Fantasy Football Injury Report. Down below I’ll give you some sneaky start options who might be available in your free agent pool if you’re in a bind, as well as my recently updated week 1 rankings for half PPR leagues. Feel free to ask me questions in the comments if you feel the rankings don’t address your specific circumstances. And please, please, please consider purchasing our 2021 fantasy football tools subscription. As intelligent and handsome as we all agree I am, my rankings are still packed full of bias and human error. Rudy’s computer model minimizes the human inputs and leans heavily on raw, untainted data inputs to provide a very valuable, differing viewpoint. Plus you receive all kinds of other benefits with your subscription including next-day snap count and target rate data. Anyway, here’s a few sneaky starts for week 1 of the 2021 fantasy football season:

Ty’Son Williams – These first two are likely already rostered in all but the shallowest of leagues, but since it’s week one I still want to highlight them as sneaky starts. After their slew of running back injuries, the Ravens signed Le’Veon Bell and Latavius Murray, which has people already backpedaling on the undrafted free-agent Williams. Don’t make that mistake. Forward pedal! Ty’Son was receiving praise from the coaching staff well before even Dobbins was injured, much less Edwards. Latavius and Le’Veon were free agents until this week for good reason. Start Ty’Son Williams in all leagues.

Marquez Callaway – Behind Marquez Callaway the Saints receiving corps consists of a skeleton borrow from a local New Orleans high school science department and a box full of Mardi Gras beads. And Jameis Winston likes to air it out, A LOT. I have Callaway ranked as my WR14 this week and that honestly might be too low. Or maybe I’m crazy.

Jamaal Williams – As Skorish mentioned in his week one injury report, D’Andre Swift has missed a lot of practice time and will likely be limited. The Lions backfield was likely already headed towards somewhat of a timeshare. Don’t be surprised if Williams outperforms Swift in game one.

Jakobi Meyers – The Patriots #1 has two things working for him in week one: Mac Jones is the starter instead of Cam Newton and Nelson Agholor will likely be limited if he even plays. Meyers should be targeted early and often this week.

Rondale Moore – Your league has to be pretty deep if you’re considering starting a rookie receiver not name Ja’Marr or Jaylen (or I suppose DeVonta, if you’re into him) in the first week. But if you’re in one of those deep leagues and already need to throw a dart at a WR, Moore could be a bullseye in his first game with Kyler.

Tua Tagovailoa – Tua has had a great preseason but he’s still not getting the respect he deserves from fantasy analysts. The consensus has him ranked as QB23 for this week? Are you kidding me! I know, I know, at New England isn’t the best of matchups, but there’s a real chance Tua posts QB1 numbers in his second season with all the weapons at his disposal. If he balls out against the Patriots he’ll be one of the top waiver adds next week.

Juwan Johnson – See Callaway, Marquez. Someone is going to surprise in the Saints passing game this week. Why not Juwan Johnson? He’s eligible at TE on most platforms, giddy up!
