This group is one that good fantasy managers will know well. Wide Receivers 41-80 offer a mix of high-upside youngsters whose ceiling seems unlimited and old reliable veterans who provide a stable floor. The variance in predicting their future fantasy production is exacerbated by the fact that many of them are free agents, so we must evaluate them without team context, which can be a beneficial exercise. It is more pertinent to know the player than their situation. I like to get a mix of the high floor and ceiling players from this bunch, but I would rather have more ceiling than floor, a bad blueprint for a carpenter, but a good plan for a fantasy manager. My team design requires I take at least three players from this group at the draft. Whether that is WR 2 through 5 on my rosters, or 3 through 6 is relatively inconsequential to me. Let’s analyze this group player by player.

I remember it like it was yesterday. We had just finished Week 4 of the NFL season. By that point, we were all basking in the warm glow of Sam Darnold being QB5 on the season, averaging an amazing 24.44 fantasy points per game. All of the Darnold truthers up in Noo Yawk, of which there are tens, were rejoicing in their prognostications that “ALL HEEZ NEEDS TO DO IS MOVE ON FROM THAT BUM ADAM GASE!”

The receiver position will be deep in 2022, and it only gets better as this year’s draft class looks solid and will offer at least seven immediate starters, but also has quality depth throughout the class. I recommend taking one of the players from the top six to ensure you have an elite and reliable playmaker at the position. After A.J. Brown they all have blemishes, but they also have upside. Pocket your top six stud and you will feel better about chances with the rest. I wouldn’t mind starting a draft with Deebo Samuel (6) and waiting until Michael Pittman Jr. (23) to get your second wideout. The position has studs and depth to offer. Let’s begin our breakdown with the top 40.

If you’re in New York, you have to be excited for the future of the NFL in the state. The Jets showed some flashes towards the end of the season that suggest they’re headed in the right direction, and they have plenty of draft capital and cap space to work with this year to continue to build out their roster. New York recently launched mobile sports betting, and when Jets’ football returns, there’s a chance they will be a team well worth betting on. Especially with DraftKings New York, one of the top mobile sportsbooks in the state. Let’s take a look at the ideal offseason for the Jets with the mindset of building this team into a winning squad in 2022.

Being a Buffalo Bills fan means you already have certain trigger words that cause severe mental anguish. Even the slightest mention of the words “wide right” is enough to make a Bills fan crash into the nearest folding table. If that wasn’t enough, after the 2022 playoffs you might as well add “13 seconds” and “squib kick” to the list of no-no, naughty words for Buffalonians. Then, of course, the Cincinnati Bengals had to go and rub it in during the AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs.

The Bills’ exit from the playoffs was equal parts exciting and heartbreaking. But their late-season offensive surge that continued into the playoffs taught us some valuable lessons as we ponder the 2022 fantasy football season. Who are we buying and selling on the Bills for next season? Why not start with a guy who had a performance never before seen in a playoff game.

We have reached the depths of the tub of ice cream. The “I was just leveling off the top” excuse is no longer legitimate (like it ever was). What remains is merely a mélange of candied toppings and molten cream. Take a deep breath, we are about to finish this off, the work we do may be messy, but it will be rewarding. I present to you, the final 40 Running Backs, ranked 81-120.

It’s been a helluva start to 2022 for New York sports fans. No, the Knicks didn’t suddenly find their mojo from last season again, and no, the uber-talented Yankees likely won’t be able to overcome the fact that Aaron Boone is arguably the worst manager in baseball. One positive to the list was the New York online sports betting launch! New Yorkers can bet anywhere in the state with the likes of Caesars New York, the current top mobile sportsbook in the state.

However, the Giants’ franchise breathed a breath of fresh air with the recent hiring of Brian Daboll as the new head coach. His introduction comes just in time for the launch of mobile sports betting in New York, and fans are certainly itching at the opportunity to place some wagers on the Giants.

I want to take you back about six months or so and give you $1,000 to bet on a few teams to make the NFL playoffs. I want you to bet on the sure things. Just some easy money for future you to enjoy.

On September 1, the Chiefs, Bills, and Bucs were all heavy favorites to make the postseason (and, surprise!, they did). Those teams were all greater than -400 to play past Week 18 and met expectations for those betting on their futures. But there was one more team that looked like a lock for the postseason based on their odds: The Baltimore Ravens.

Running backs ranked 40 thru 80 is money time for the fantasy managers looking to employ the RB Zero, RB Hero, or Wide Net approach to the position. If you can hit on a player or two from this group, they can improve your fantasy fortunes. Knowledge is the key. Not all third-string running backs are created equal. Good fantasy managers will know which backups are high-upside youngsters and which backups are aging veterans in the din of their NFL career. I recommend readers pay less attention to the rank of the players in this group, and more to their story, as the rankings from this group can be capricious. Pick out a dozen or so that you like, and make a point to get some of them.

It’s that awkward time of the year where us football writers scatter to distant lands, such as “baseball land” and “Branson.” But before I head out for the spring/summer, I wanted to do one of those montage scenes where we check out all of our favorite Razzball writer’s bold preseason predictions…and find out who is the boldest and who is the most accurate!

For reference, here’s the original article, where our writer Skorish asked us to try and make bold yet reasonably possible predictions about the year.
