Everyone wants to find the diamonds in the rough – aka Sleepers. “Sleepers” are players drafted in the 10th Round or later in a 12-Team League. Or, Pick 120 or later overall. Below are my Top 5 Sleepers heading into draft season. Who are yours? Comment and let’s discuss.

- Player: Jonah Coleman (RB – DEN)
- Current Positional and Overall ADP: RB49 (Pick 151 Overall)
- I love rookie RBs with high-upside and potentially large opportunities as my Sleeper picks in the later rounds. Coleman fits that fill. He was drafted in the 4th Round by Denver, but possesses a three-down skillset and lands in a backfield with plenty of questionmarks. I don’t trust JK Dobbins to stay healthy and RJ Harvey didn’t seem to claim Sean Peyton’s trust fully as a rookie. If Coleman can handle pass blocking, catch the ball (which he excelled at in college) and maintain his CFB best yards after contact per touch, he could be RB1 for the Broncos quickly and an RB2 in fantasy. This is an easy smash as your RB6 come draft day.
- Player: Jayden Higgins (WR – HOU)
- Current Positional and Overall ADP: WR52 (Pick 125 Overall)
- Higgins may not “boom” this year, but certainly has the potential too. He played every game last season and had four games with at least seven targets. He caught six touchdowns including two the final two weeks. Nico Collins gets all first looks and Tank Dell has been looking healthy so far this summer in what would be a phenomenal comeback, but outside of those guys, I’ll take Higgins to be WR1.5-3. Better in Best Ball and .5 PPR leagues, but I like his upside in redraft as well.
- Player: Jalen Coker (WR – CAR)
- Current Positional and Overall ADP: WR56 (Pick 133 Overall)
- We know Tetairoa McMillan is the top target in Carolina, but Coker ended last season hot with three touchdowns in the final five games and a monster Wild Card game vs. the Rams going 9/134/1 in a game the Panthers should have won. Coker is a UDFA, but I believe he made his mark as a rookie. I don’t love the Panthers’ offense, but Top 24 upside at WR55.
- Player: Oronde Gadsden II (TE – LAC)
- Current Positional and Overall ADP: TE15 (Pick 131 Overall)
- I’m going with talent on this one. Gadsden has competition now with David Njoku and some auxiliary pieces coming over this off-season, but I can’t shake what he did Week 6-10 last season. He was TE7 (including a TE2 and TE3 finish) over that stretch amassing 27 targets for 24/377/2. With Keenan Allen gone (as of now), I expect Justin Herbert to lean on his TEs over the middle with Ladd McConkey. It may not be consistent, but Gadsden offers athletic upside few others due after the First 5 this year. He’s a great TE2 and bye week filler for your roster. I’d rather draft him than hope he clears waivers after a big week.
- Player: Kyler Murray (QB – MIN)
- Current Positional and Overall ADP: QB18 (Pick 141 Overall)
- I know…, but before last year’s disaster, Murray played 17 games in 2024 and finished as the QB10. Do you remember that? Me neither. Not the point. The point is, that happened. Now, he’s back healthy, on a fresh team with a much better offense as a whole, play-caller and a Top 5 WR duo with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. It’s not insane to think Kyler could give us 20+ passing TDs, 5+ rushing TDs and 4,500 total yards. That would blow his QB18 price tag out of the water. If you punt QB, he’s an upside play. He may even be available on waivers in single-QB leagues. I’ll reach for him in Super Flex though. I’d also go buy him for cheap in dynasty just in case he returns to form. He’s still just 28.
