We will be in the trenches, following all the breaking dynasty fantasy football news, trades, draft picks, free agent signings, and rumblings amongst NFL media, so you don’t have to.

Every week, the Dynasty Diehards will be breaking down all the relevant information from around the league. This week, Nate and Jon recap the Super Bowl and the fantasy football implications of the big game, talk about the recent coaching hires around the league, and incoming rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison out of USC.

Super Bowl Recap

The hype leading up to this past Sunday’s championship game proved warranted. The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly edged out the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35. The game that had us on the edge of our seats until the very end. Despite the loss, Jalen Hurts cemented himself as a top-tier NFL signal-caller for years to come, and the Eagles will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in 2023. In addition, Patrick Mahomes proved he can win at a high level without a receiving corps that includes Tyreek Hill. So what are the other big takeaways from last Sunday?

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

The Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts wasted no time this NFL offseason. Both teams hired their new head coaches immediately after the Super Bowl. Arizona snapped up Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, while the Colts opted for Philly offensive coordinator Shane Steichen. Both men will be taking over head coaching duties for the first time. Can Gannon bring a spark to a Cardinals team that desperately needs it? Can Steichen get a struggling Colts team back on track? What does it all mean for Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Pittman, and Jonathan Taylor?

Rookie Watch: Jordan Addison (WR – USC)

The 2023 rookie wide receiver class is big on talent, depending on who you ask. Jordan Addison, from USC, is a first-round pick. He will likely make an immediate impact in fantasy football. Where does Addison land, and how high will he climb in dynasty rankings?
