A few years ago, my brother entered a team into a $1 daily fantasy league with around 56,000 people taking part. He entered several other teams into other leagues, some of which required a $20 entry, some $10, and so on.

By Monday night, all but one of his teams were out of the running. But in that $1 league, he wasn’t just in the money. He was in first place. And though he admittedly did his research with all of the lineups, that $1 team was more of a “gut” team, where he just kind of went against the most obvious choices, stacked Russell Wilson (5 TDs) and Doug Baldwin (3 TDs), had a vintage AP performance (158 yards, 2 TDs), got production from role players (29.6 pts from Brandon Marshall, 17 points from CIN DST), and the rest was history. A couple days later, he was $12,000 richer, and he’s been an advocate of going with his gut feeling ever since.

Every third Thursday of November my herd gets together and we jam out to a variety of classic Michael Jackson tunes. My brother, Donkey Breath, can’t get enough Thriller; Pretty cliché, right? I’m always telling Breath he needs to dig a little further into The King of Pop’s repertoire. I myself prefer The Gloved One’s early years with The Jackson 5.

Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, Michael and their lesser known youngest brother, Lamar, composed some of the most dulcet melodies you’ll ever hear. Little Lamar couldn’t sing worth a donkey lick, but boy could he run! Many years later, the very same Lamar Jackson, who was definitely a member of the Jackson 5, has now been given the reigns to the Baltimore Ravens offense. Lamar has game changing speed and will be a threat to run for 100+ yards in every game. Add him immediately in all leagues if for no other reason than to keep him away from your opponents. Anyway, here’s some other players to buy or sell this week in fantasy football:

That is how I envision Nathan Peterman going out on Sunday will look like. It’s an embarrassment to football and modern civilization that he continues to get opportunities to start games in the National Football League. Where we all saw Nick Mullens last night destroy a Raiders team that is actually an abomination, it will be a real contest to see if Peterman can do worse. Let’s look at some of the key games for fantasy this week…
