Frequent commenter Calogera won the 45 dollar prize for last week’s Razzball FanDuel league.  Congrats!

If you want to find a player who will be injured during the game you should check my picks below.  There is a very good chance one of my players won’t finish the game.  Mark Clayton was our winner last week.

Last week our first ten team Razzball League filled up quickly so I’ve made two this week.  You can join the first one here and the second one chere.

QB Peyton Manning: He let me down last week, so the chances of two down weeks in a row are fairly remote from the alpha Manning.  Some of my cheaper options I might go with on other teams are Roethlisberger, Cutler and Young.

RB Frank Gore: Another player who hurt me last week.  His fumbles against the Eagles were killers.  He gets the horrid Oakland rush defense and will be looking to make up for his poor showing last week. Another option I really like here is Ahmad Bradshaw who gets the Lions.  And he’s cheaper if you want to upgrade elsewhere.

RB Michael Turner: I’m playing the odds here.  He’s had trouble getting into the endzone this season which is his specialty.  I think he’ll cross the goal line once or twice against a poor Philly rush D.

WR Hakeem Nicks: I hate betting on back to back huge games, but Nicks is becoming a guy that can beat the odds.  Oh, and he gets the Lions which always helps.

WR Miles Austin: You know he can go back to back and he gets a Vikings defense on a short week and with a good run D.  Romo should throw a lot.

WR Hines Ward: Big Ben is back and Cleveland’s pass D isn’t.  I like Wallace as well, but I’m going with the stability of Ward and he’s cheaper.

TE Tony Moeaki: Had to go with value here. Moeaki gets plenty of targets and Houston doesn’t care to cover tight ends.  I also think Schaub and AJ will get back on track, which will keep the Chiefs from running too much.

D New York Giants: Detroit has been playing well, but the Giants have been playing extremely well.  If Megatron is out you can expect to see Best get corralled and Hill tossing up some beach balls late.  The Steelers are the clear winners this week, getting to face mcCoy at home, but they were a bit too expensive in the lineup.  I’m sure I’ll have them in others.

    ok, 3 man keeper league.

    just lost finley for 8-10 weeks.

    i have mendenhall, sjax, and foster (and michael bush) at RB.

    do i try to trade foster or sjax in a deal for gates?

    and does forster or sjax + pettigrew sound good for gates + portis?

  2. Asdrubal Bastardo says:

    I got an intriguing offer this morning. I give up Malcom Floyd and LDT, and I receive S-Jax and Randy Moss. What are your thoughts on the deal Doc? Thanks.

  3. The Vaporizers says:
    (link)

    Hey Doc, how do you feel about having a WR and RB from the same team on your team? I already have AJ and Foster, which I don’t mind of course.

    But I’ve been contemplating this trade:

    my Bradshaw and Royal

    for

    Turner and Welker

    I definitely think I get the better end here, but I already have Roddy White. I don’t want AJ/Foster and White/Turner because if one of those teams has a really bad game, it really hurts my team. What are your thoughts on this?

  4. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @ThePoonTycoon: Portis is pretty likely done for the season so don’t even bother with him. Gates will continue to be great, but you just can’t count on him keeping this TD pace up. I wouldn’t trade a top RB for him.

    @Asdrubal Bastardo: Do it!

  5. The Vaporizers says:

    and thanks for your feedback in the previous thread as well!

  6. Doc

    Doc says:

    @The Vaporizers: I’m ok with having Turner and White. They compliment each other more than cancel each other out.

    V Davis or D Clark rest of the way in non PPR?

  8. Doc

    Doc says:

    @TE: I’d lean Clark

    Hi Doc,

    In non PPR, which side of the trade do you prefer?

    H. Ward/DMC/V. Davis or G. Jennings/D. Clark

  10. ThePoonTycoon says:
    (link)

    @Doc: did not realize portis was likely dunzo for the year. thanks. and yeah, gates probably tops out around 1100 yds and 12 tds.

    This week @ flex in PPR: Torain or H Ward?

  12. Pepe Silvia says:

    thinking about offering Zach Miller to Finley’s owner in exchange for Mathews. that would leave me with Celek at TE. think I’d be fine with Brent or should I hold on to Zach? muchas gracias!

  13. slim shady says:

    News is surfacing that Finley is done for the season.

    Act accordingly.

    I got a guy that really wants Wayne.
    I have Romo, Wayne, Holmes, Moreno, V.Davis, Woodhead, Addai, Jacobs, Bradford, D.Mason.
    He has Brees, Maclin, Lloyd, Forte, Moeaki, B.Edwards, T.Owens, Tolbert, S.Rice, R.Bush.
    I don’t know what is fair value. Lloyd/Forte? They only had ONE good week. Breed/Lloyd for Wayne/Bradford? Any suggestions? Thanks!

  15. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @slim shady: Tough. It would be nice to know how DMC will be used from here on out of course. I like Jennings with Finley out and Clark more than VD. DMC is the wild card. Leaning Clark side, but would like an extra piece.

    @Max: I like both. Leaning Ward for PPR

    @Pepe Silvia: I think if you could get Mathews it would be worth it.

  16. Rookie Season says:
    (link)

    Brees*

  17. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Rookie Season: I really don’t see a good trade for you there. Wayne is the best non-QB on either team. I wouldn’t want to deplete your WRs that much.

  18. Doc

    Doc says:

    ****** Jerome Harrison has been traded to the Eagles for Mike Bell *******

    This isn’t huge fantasy news, but Harrison’s upside just got a big booster shot in the back side. If you have McCoy, Harrison would be nice insurance. If you are in a deep league, Harrison is worth a stash.

  19. Dough boy says:

    I have zach miller and am a little thin at receiver, should I trade Chris cooley and garcon for maclin, and if not who should I try and target, my receivers are: Megatron, Nicks, Crabtree, Garcon, Moore.

  20. Black Beard says:
    (link)

    Doc, would you rather trade Nicks or Megatron in a non-ppr? Thanks.

  21. Jimmy says:

    PPR non keeper, 10 team. Was offered Hines Ward for Kyle Orton. Thoughts? I think it works because Megatron is hurt and it helps my WR depth. I think Ward will explode with Benny back. The guy offering is in last place and I don’t see it hurting things for me with having my go to man Rivers.

    QB Philip Rivers SDC
    QB Kyle Orton DEN
    RB Adrian Peterson MIN

    Apparently Finley said he is out for the year according to ESPN.. Is it time to drop him or should I wait until everything is confirmed?

    Which of these guys would make the most sense to replace him.. H. Miller, Pettigreu, or Gresham?

  23. Wilsonian says:

    @ThePoonTycoon: good to see ya in the Foosball section, as well. You really helped me out in the baseball season…you were like Grey Jr.

    Trying a different angle from a different team. Which side would you prefer in a 12-team PPR?

    Arian Foster, T.O., Santonio Holmes

    @Doc: what does Harrison to cheese steak land do for Hillis?

  27. Drew Crew says:

    Cutler or Big Ben this week?

  28. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Dough boy: I think that’s a good trade.

    @Black Beard: Megatron, but it pains me

    @Jimmy: Yeah, works for your team.

    @Gambler: Miller

    @Joel: I would rather have Arod. I like Peyton more, but I wouldn’t give Jones. He’s on the upswing.

    @nick m.: I’d rather have the AJ side.

    @Wilsonian: Not much. Bell could help keep him healthy.

    @Drew Crew: I’m really back and forth on this one. I’m leaning Ben, but it is almost a toss up.

    Which 2 should I start out of Big Ben, Orton and Eli Manning this week?
    Also, pick 2 WRs, 2 RBs and a flex (PPR, point per 25 return yards):
    Andre Johnson (KC), Hakeem Nicks (Det), Percy Harvin (Dal), Kenny Britt (@Jac), Chris Johnson (@Jac), Jamaal Charles (@Hou), Jahvid Best (@NYG), Matt Forte (Sea). Thanks!

    More decisions…Cable plans on starting Bush this week in San Fran and while I have McCoy, Torain & Greene (at flex) I’m tempted to get Bush in there. He’s getting 20+ touches and its do or die for the starting position… advice?

  35. Nick says:
    (link)

    I know Greene is the easy decision, but I think Jets will be running by the 2nd half w/ Greene the beneficiary….

    Should I drop Vjax or Baltimore to grab the Giants D. I know Vjax may not see the field, but a guy can hope.

  37. friar says:

    In a 10-team 0.5 PPR league, I desperately need a RB upgrade (I have DeAngelo, Addai, Torain, Law Firm, and Reggie Bush) and hope to achieve it by trading off some of my QB strength (Vick, Big Ben, Flacco). I’m thinking of proposing one of the following deals. Which one should I go with and is either one likely to be accepted?

    Vick for Bradshaw
    Vick and DeAngelo for Ray Rice

  38. G.O.B. says:
    (link)

    I’m in a 10-team non-PPR league, and I frustrated the hell out of myself last week by not starting Nicks, Crabtree, Floyd, Michael Bush, and Witten. I lost, and now I’m 4-1.

    This is my whole team:
    QB: Ryan
    RB: Peterson, Foster, Bradshaw, Moreno, Bush, Greene
    WR: Roddy, Megatron, Nicks, Floyd, Crabtree
    TE: Zach Miller, Witten
    DEF/K: doesn’t matter really

    I like having depth and balance on my team, but I hate leaving so many points on the bench. Do you think I should trade some RBs and/or WRs to upgrade at QB?

  39. buge hoobs says:
    (link)

    is time to pick up and stash Reggie Bush?

  40. Hennessey says:
    (link)

    @Doc: Ha! Hilarious picture and a perfect lead-in for my question. Is Charles done being cockblocked after what we saw last week? I have him, Gore, Foster, and Bradshaw, but only 3 starting spots for an RB to fill. I know Gore starts, but after that I really don’t know which one of the three I should bench. It’s a 1 PPR. Any advice, Doc?

  41. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @genghis chone: Ben/AJ/Nicks/CJ/Harvin

    @herschel: I’d do that

    @paulzone: Yes

    @Randy: I’d wait

    @Nick: Go Greene.

    @Spliff: VJax is going to play week 12. Just reported. That’s a ways off. But he will play. I like both Ds. I’d lean Giants since they are getting the sacks.

    @friar: I could see either being accepted under the right circumstances, but i think whoever you propose it to will like to see that Vick is back and healthy

    @G.O.B.: I would try. Ryan is good, but you could upgrade and maybe save yourself some of those benchings.

    @buge hoobs: Depends on who you would drop and if you are in a PPR league.

  42. G.O.B. says:
    (link)

    Thanks Doc.

    I just read a report on ESPN saying that Vincent Jackson is gonna sign his tender or whatever so he can play zome games this year. Does that make him worth a grab and stash? PPR or non?

  43. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @G.O.B.: Yeah, VJax will be eligible to play Week 12. This leaves 5 games to use him if you make it to your championships. And a couple in the regular season. Really depends on if you can hold him for 6 weeks without hurting your team. But I could see doing it.

  44. elwood blues says:

    I have MJD, Felix, Greene, and FJackson.. and I need a WR this week badly with the bye week..
    (at this pt-I will be starting Wallace, Murphy, and H

    Trade FJax for Holmes or Amendola?

    (He also has White, Lloyd, and B-Tate.. do you anything that makes sense?)

    Housh is also on the waiver wire..

    ..and here’s another one:
    FJax for Britt?

  46. G.O.B. says:
