Even though I’m not one to pat myself on the back (actually, I am), Razzball has been on an upward curve, bringing some sort of conglomerate synergistic metamorphosis (as they say in the corporate world), providing you an ever-improving ranking accuracy year after year. How do we do it? No clue. It could be dark wizardry. It could be indigestion. It could even be your mother. But I have to admit, this year is going to be daunting, if only because the expectations we’ve placed on ourselves here at Razzball Football are at an all time high (just like my college years). Going from 31st overall to 22nd in Weekly Fantasy Football accuracy is one thing. But going from 22nd to the top-10 in the entire nation last season is quite another. And then on top of that, to finish third overall in our Draft Rankings last year… well, it’d be folly to try and say “Yes, we’re going to try even more, (more better if you believe in remedial English)”, but yeah, I’m going to say it… We’re going to do more better. (My English teacher just placed a bounty on me.) With that said, and my parentheses key broken, here are your 2017 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver (Standard, Half-PPR, and PPR) Rankings

    What are your thoughts on Tyrell Williams? I owned him last year and have the opportunity to keep him at a low cost, but I didnt get to watch him much. Does his role diminish with Allen back?

    Also — Who would you keep out of these options at these prices? (pick 3)

    Tyrell Williams – $1
    Martavis Bryant – $1
    Derek Carr – $2
    LaGarrett Blount – $7
    Martellus Bennett – $10
    Josh Doctson – $5
    JJ Nelson – $1

      I don’t think so, and if it does, I’d say minimally. I know both the staff and Rivers loved what he did, and I gotta say, that one dollar value is outstanding. Out of that group, I think you go Blount, Williams, and Bryant… but Williams is a coin flip with Carr depending on how your league is with QB depth.

        @Jay:

        That’s actually exactly who I was contemplating… its a PPR plus a quarter point per completion for QBs. Carr isn’t very expensive compared to a lot of the QBs but I would like him on my team, whether I keep him or draft him.

          Oh, and I have a really good feeling about Corey Davis for some reason.

            @Bryce Krispie Treats: I do too, and the group you have is hard to draw from. If some good guys are being left out, ultimately, that’s a great sign.

    I understand your ranking of him, but feel like we’ve got to be bigger on Quincy Enunwa they we are. The Jets are going to be playing a lot of meaningless 4th quarters in junk time (ala Bortles/Robinson in 2015) and he has little competition to take targets away from him. Lots of junk time fantasy points to be had on the Jets.

      @gobiggreen: Yeah, you know what, I think I agree with you. These rankings aren’t static and will be updated throughout the preseason. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see me get more aggressive here, especially in PPR.

    In a 12-team half PPR with 2 keepers. You give up the round that a guy was drafted in last year to keep him to this year. I’m keeping Le’veon Bell as my 2nd rounder. Now have option of keeping Odell (giving up my 1st rounder), or keeping Jordan Howard and giving up my last round pick. I’m torn….what do you think, Jay? Thx

      @Jack the Ripper: What a split there. I might keep Jordan Howard and take what I can get in the first… unless you’re a Giants fan. Then I understand.
