I’m on a roll. Not the kind you want to be on, mind: the one where even solid choices go awry.

One of my starts for Week 15, Cooper Kupp, seemed like a safe choice: he was projected for 13.37 PPR points, a mark he had bested every week since he returned from injury in Week 8 except for Week 13 against the Saints in New Orleans. Please, blog, may I have some more?

Did you win and advance?  Are you still alive in your home leagues, Scott Fish Bowl 14, Football Guys tournament, and/or any other league/contest?  Are you coming off a Playoffs bye ready to smash your competition?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I have no doubt you are here to work on the final names to help your roster be what it needs to be to win the whole thing.  Please, blog, may I have some more?

Don’t be scared, the mighty Jefferson is on a break and will return soon. I’m the pinch hitter.

I prefer to remember NFL Week 15 2024 for the Tecmo-Bowlesque (now a real word because I say so) Buffalo-Detroit matchup rather than the Los Angeles-San Francisco matchup that kicked off the week and nearly made me swear off football for more hockey. Please, blog, may I have some more?

It is Week 15 which means you are reading this column for one of three reasons: (1) You made the playoffs and want to start the right players, (2) You made the playoffs with a first round bye and you are checking in to see some viable names for the week, (3) You are bored and simply cannot stay away from all things fantasy football.  Please, blog, may I have some more?

And sometimes I have bad timing.

I don’t mind missing on a player but I do mind offering a good player that winds up out of the game plan.

I featured Jayden Reed last week. Other than a 14-yard defensive pass interference penalty he drew on Brian Branch on the Packers’ first offensive series and a short incompletion on the second series, the only other time I saw Reed on screen was later in the game when he rushed to Dontayvion Wicks’ aid after Wicks got rocked by a hit.
