We already have a Week 3 game in the books, so Kyle Pitts and Tucker Kraft will not be in my rankings. I likely would have over-ranked them this week: Michael Penix’s return did nothing to boost Pitts’ fortunes, and Kraft was heavily targeted and underwhelming. Pitts entered the week as TE58 in PPR scoring; 1.5 points might increase his ranking, but does it matter? Kraft was TE25 coming in, and 6.8 points is not what we paid for.
Potential only gets one so far.

The Panthers liked what they saw from Darren Waller in 2025 when Waller was in Miami. As long as he keeps finding the end zone, he’s an option in fantasy, but I tend to stay away in leagues where I manage a lineup because the volume is spotty. If the Bills use a lot of 12 and 13 personnel, Kincaid will be a draft day steal.

Only six with 2 targets, but they all hit paydirt, as did seven others. AJ Barner cashed in a one-yard run to log points. It’s encouraging to see Gadsden here. You may notice Eric Saubert had a -10-yard reception; that play was essentially a sack from the Arizona 8-yard line, as Cardinals’ linebacker Jordan Burch was bearing down on Drew Lock as Saubert released his block; Lock dumped it over Burch to Saubert, who stumbled and fell at the 18 on a busted play.

These rankings are for base PPR leagues: 1 point per reception, 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 points per touchdown, and -2 points per fumble lost. No premiums or bonuses.
I’ll give player, player’s team, opponent this week, home or road game (H/R), day of game, time of game (early (E), late (L), or night (N)), current projected team total (Imp Pts) per DraftKings, opponent’s 2026 rank vs. tight ends, PPR points per game (PPG), PPR scoring rank for the season (Rank), and percent rostered per FantasyPros (Rost %).

McBride’s still the standard-bearer, but I see cause for concern. The Cards’ offense has been lackluster, and the receiving corps is top-heavy due to Marvin Harrison Jr. being a non-factor with 4 targets.
Kincaid leads the Bills in targets, and no one else on the team is close in receptions and yards. The limit will be volume.
This may be the last time I rank Warren this high if the Colts don’t get him off the line of scrimmage. 3.8 YPC? Oof.
Speaking of the Colts, they were a tonic for Travis Kelce. I’m more concerned with game script than the opponent at Miami.
I feel better about George Kittle, and the 49ers have no qualms about turning the passing game loose. They may need it as the defense took a hit with the news that Nick Bosa will miss time.
Right now, Sam LaPorta is winning the tug of war for targets with Jameson Williams, 15-13. It also figures LaPorta would be more efficient than Jamo.
I love the way Kellen Moore has been leveraging Juwan Johnson’s skill as a former WR. Johnson has a 17 YPC, and with a long of 27 yards, it’s not artificial. I’d like to see more volume, but I think Devaughn Vele’s ascent has benefited Johnson.
What’s missing from Mark Andrews’ game so far is RZ targets, but Baltimore has only five as a team through the first two weeks.
Dalton Schultz had a career-high 14 targets last week, and Nico Collins is trending to be out again this game.
The only thing separating Jake Ferguson and Darren Waller is one target. I’m counting on RZ usage here.
Speaking of RZ usage, Fannin has had no RZ targets YTD. The Browns as a team haven’t had many, and Blake Whiteheart vultured the only TE RZ target.
Colston Loveland? Yikes! One reception for three yards on five targets for two games. That’s objectively too many small prime numbers. I’m not sure a possible start by Case Keenum will be a good thing, but it can’t get much worse.
T.J. Hockenson having a 3-29-0-4 line against the Bears isn’t bad considering Carson Wentz only threw 20 passes. Kyler Murray is due back this week. This will come down to how competitive the Buccaneers offense is.
The Patriots have been leaning on the running game so far, but Hunter Henry is still second on the team in targets with 8, and he has 1 of the 3 RZ targets the team has had. The stats will come, but if the TDs don’t, he’s not a TE1.
Gadsden was going to need some injuries to Njoku and Charlie Kolar, and those happened. If the offense ever gets going, Gadsden’s a streamer. If not, I’ll bench everyone but Omarion Hampton.
I’m still in prove-it mode with Terrance Ferguson, but with Puka Nacua likely out again, I could see flexing him in a pinch. He’s still seeing fewer snaps than Colby Parkinson, but his upside was on display on Monday night with a 9-6-54-1 line. A 9.0 YPC is not what attracted me to him, but the potential for volume was.
Of the rest, I’ll give a “Welcome back” to Zach Ertz. I’m assuming he’ll be activated from the practice squad with Dallas Goedert trending out for Monday night. My expectations are modest, but 4-5 targets is not unreasonable.
