If someone wears the number 47, they are an H-back in my mind. But they’re listed as a tight end on their roster, so the mystery tight end this week is owned on Blutarsky rosters. That’s right. Zero. Point. Zero.

The mystery player from the open is Teagan Quitoriano, the number seven player in our table above. The Texans selected him in the fifth round from Oregon State in 2022, and he caught a TD pass in his first game in Week 8 that season. He played for the Texans through 2024 as a backup and special teams player. He also played that role with the Falcons in 2025, the first season he played in all 17 games. He was not targeted in 2024 or 2025. He was waived on roster cut-down day in 2026 by the Cardinals, then re-signed to the practice squad. He was elevated this past Saturday for the Week 5 game.

Respect. I like that story.

McBride is still leading the way, but Likely’s second TE 1-overall week has vaulted him to second for the season. Meanwhile, Bowers destroyed the Patriots, who had been allowing 5.9 PPR points per game to TEs. At this pace, Bowers will overtake everyone else. Mike Gesicki wins the “Do More with Less” award with 4 TDs on 17 targets, and I’ve got to wonder if Tyler Higbee can keep it up. Colby Parkinson returned Monday night but barely dented the box score.

I cut it off this week at Tucker Kraft because I’m interested when someone backs up. With 2:48 left in the third quarter on 2nd and 5 from the Bears’ 11, Jordan Love dumped it behind the line to Kraft on a play that was sniffed out by Devin Bush. It led to the Packers’ only trip to the RZ that they did not score a TD. Likely had his second two-TD RZ game. Mark Andrews’ RZ futility continues.

I cut it off at a three-target minimum again to show that RZTs do not guarantee success. Colston Loveland is tied for fifth in targets, but is the only player with more than 3 RZTs to not house one. I don’t know about you, but I tried to pick up Freiermuth in a 12-teamer this week and was rejected; rostered means at least 80% of leagues are sus.

And now, the top 30 for Week 6, but first:

These rankings are for Week 6 games ONLY. If you want to speak about them, hit me up in the COMMENTS, which is also where I will post updates after Friday practice participation reports are finalized.

These rankings are for base PPR leagues: 1 point per reception, 1 point for 10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 points per touchdown, and -2 points per fumble lost. No premiums or bonuses.

I’ll give player, player’s team, opponent this week, home or road game (H/R), day of game, time of game (early (E), late (L), or night (N)), current projected team total (Imp Pts) per DraftKings, opponent’s 2026 rank vs. tight ends, PPR points per game (PPG), PPR scoring rank for the season (Rank), and percent rostered per FantasyPros (Rost %).

I faded Brock Bowers last week because I gave New England their due. I’m done not giving Bowers his due. TE 1.

Trey McBride’s 7.3 YPR is irritating. And the Cards just traded their field stretcher. I despair.

George Kittle could easily challenge Bowers this week for the top spot. The implied point total for SF is the highest on the board outside of the Bills, and the Commanders just gave up 32.4 PPR points to Isaiah Likely.

Isaiah Likely could prove me a liar, but outside of Bowers, the Saints have been stingy to TEs.

I’m assuming Rashee Rice returns against the Chargers, or I’d drop Travis Kelce below Kraft.

Tyler Warren is fourth in targets to TEs. Paying Alec Pierce and trading Michael Pittman has not worked out so far, as Pierce is injured, and Keenan Allen and Ashton Dulin have been in and out of the lineup. Indy needs a field-stretcher to give Warren room.

I won’t hold the Vikings game against Juwan Johnson; Minnesota throttled the entire New Orleans offense. Johnson still tied for the team lead in receptions, and Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele were held to 72 combined yards.

Christian Watson and Matthew Golden have been dominating targets, and Tucker Kraft is still less than a year removed from his ACL injury. I’m holding out hope that better things are ahead.

Pat Freiermuth is on his way to his best season, and as long as he’s in the Kittle zone for efficiency, he’s a TE1, but the volume is going to have to increase or he’ll need to bust a few long runs. He’ll likely settle into high-end TE2 territory, but I’ll gladly be wrong.

Dallas Goedert came back and led the Eagles in targets in London. The trouble is the roster is a dumpster fire, and neither Saquon Barkley nor DeVonta Smith has returned to practice. Goedert’s still as likely as anyone on the team currently to catch a TD, but there may not be many opportunities.

I like Darren Waller’s opportunity share and am counting on increased RZ efficiency.

I may be chasing the ghosts of Colston Loveland and Kyle Pitts. So much for Loveland with Tyson Bagent. Maybe the return of Caleb Williams will help, or maybe Loveland goes back to being another O-lineman. Pitts showed signs of life Sunday night, and we’ll see if he rides that momentum in a tough matchup. The Bears have been solid against the run, so whoever starts at QB for Atlanta could have to air it out.

Of the rest, my bye week fillers are Tyler Higbee and AJ Barner in good matchups. Add Cade Otton if Baker Mayfield makes it back to the field, but he didn’t practice Wednesday.

The Thursday matchup, Seahawks at Broncos, holds some hope for the TEs: Evan Engram led the Broncos in receiving in Week 5, but that is a dubious distinction as Bo Nix threw for 123 passing yards; Barner was second in targets for the Hawks in Week 5. Texans at Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London has intrigue in that it will likely be the Houston debut of Marvin Harrison Jr. Neither Brenton Strange nor Dalton Schultz has a plus matchup, and if Schultz continues only commanding a ~10% target share, he’ll fall out of my top 20.
