I thought I’d start with a fantasy football anecdote: it’s been a while since I’ve had a truly dreadful team. I don’t mean bad. I mean so terrible it belongs in a different league from the other teams. It’s an old league, 12 teams, non-PPR, and we use whole-number scoring. Half the league has been […]

We already have a Week 3 game in the books, so Kyle Pitts and Tucker Kraft will not be in my rankings. I likely would have over-ranked them this week: Michael Penix’s return did nothing to boost Pitts’ fortunes, and Kraft was heavily targeted and underwhelming. Pitts entered the week as TE58 in PPR scoring; […]

One of the great things about the NFL – and professional sports in general – is its ability to meet our expectations and turn them on their heads. While I’m a big fan of summer, having the NFL back is pretty great. And this was just the beginning of the season. I just started this […]

As I write this, Dalton Kincaid is thrashing the Lions. I pulled Kincaid from the Week 2 rankings, but I had him ranked 4th for the week before the game. The way he’s been going, he could be TE1 after Week 2. I certainly missed on him so far. I didn’t question his talent, but […]

About 10 minutes after sending the Week 2 waiver reminder, our NFFC contact reached out to say that our divisions have been added to the standings filters on the NFFC site. I am now RazzBowl Big Brother! This means is that I can now get the big-picture view of the tournament to see how everyone […]

I couldn’t help but liken this industry to Chicken Little this morning, as I saw the dire proclamations roll in after the first two – of 272 – games were played. And be assured, I don’t exclude myself from that playful skewer. The sky is not falling, but it can seem like that at times. […]

We have been holding drafts for our RazzballNFL Supporters Leagues for the last couple of weeks. In true Razzball fashion, League 3 was second. I never said we could count. The league is hosted on the Sleeper Fantasy platform. This is the second year for this league. Eleven of the twelve 2025 teams returned for […]

That’s right, we’re doing a countdown, although halfway through, I realized I’m technically doing a countup (and making up words while I’m at it). First, some other words: I’m not trying to figure out who’s injury-prone. It’s a game where hundreds of high-speed collisions occur every week. The entire league is injury-prone. I’m assuming everyone […]
