So, you want to be a fantasy #1 stunna?  DraftKings is back with another $2 Qualifier into the Millionaire Grand Final where for only two measly Washingtons you could end up with 10,000 Franklins!  What would you do with a mil?  Well I asked my financial advisors the Big Tymers who recommended I buy  “a new car, and spend about a million with a mother##%$&’ driver seat sittin’ in the middle!”  And I said that didn’t even rhyme!  I don’t get rap sometimes…  But I do understand being fantasy’s #1 stunna, with the biggest payday you’ll ever find in fantasy, unless of course you can con your way into Bill Gates and Warren Buffet’s fantasy league.  “What’s that Bill, you’re owning the league right now with all the Broncos?  I’m gonna make a call real quick and buy the Broncos and bring back Tebow!”  So if you’re looking for that kind of power, hop in a DraftKings contest today and beat the field in the Week 17 Grand Finale!

Reverse step to last week’s picks:

QB – Peyton Manning  28-34  327 Yds  4 TDs (32.08 Pts)

RB – Jacquizz Rodgers  32 Rush Yds  6 Rec  56 Yds  (14.8 Pts)

WR – Julian Edelman  7 Rec  118 Yds  (21.8 Pts)

FLEX – DeAndre Hopkins 2 Rec  27 Yds  (4.7 Pts)

TOTAL: 73.38  (previous weeks’ totals: 24.4, 70.24)

A nice return to form with my picks, as Peyton’s dissection of the Eagles single-handedly outscored all four of my picks from week 3.  Jacquizz was decent, but I also had Darren Sproles at RB, so huge production there.  Edelman was solid again, but a tough week for Hopkins as the Texans learned why you have to keep pushing offensively even though it looks like you have a W locked up.  I ended up 115 out of 862 for that Million Dollar Finale Ticket last week, so I need to do 114 spots better!  Here’s who I like in week 5 for DraftKings action:

QB – Aaron Rodgers ($9,800) – As with DraftKings Baseball, you need to try and get solid production from the top of your line-up.  In NFL’s case that’s at QB in comparison to the two SP you pick for your DraftKings Baseball line-ups.  While as much as I want to stick with Peyton and his historic QB run, his price has hiked up to $11,000 so I’ll save the $1,200 and go with the non-HGH A-Rod.  With the Lions coming off a high-scoring statement win, the Packers are coming off a bye week to prepare in what should be a great shoot out.

RB – LeSean McCoy ($8,500) – Spending big yet again, I want to go for a huge home-run buy with McCoy who should gash the reeling Giants who haven’t be able to stop anything.  McCoy is Chip Kelly’s best player, and after an embarrassing loss against the Broncos, look for an all-out offensive onslaught not unlike a Mel Gibson traffic stop.

WR – Ryan Broyles ($3,300) – Starting to build in my budget-picks, Broyles let down a lot of fantasy owners who rolled the dice on him last week stepping in as the Lions #2 with Nate Burleson going demolition derby on the interstate guardrail.  I thought owners were pulling the trigger on him too early – I liked a lot of options better than him in the Last Second Decisions comments last Sunday – and now I’m buying the break out in what should be an old-fashioned Wisconsin shoot out.  At the price, you won’t find much better upside.

FLEX – David Wilson ($4,200) – Say whaaaaa????  Hold the presses!  JB is picking David Wilson this week?!  Well with big spending atop my line-up, I picked my flex last and had $4,300 left to spend, and no name sticks out with the upside Wilson still has in the 4K range.  Actually, now is the time I’m actually trying to buy dirt cheap in my yearly leagues, and think this is the game the Giants offense gets back on track against a very inconsistent Eagles D.  The Giants will need a balanced attack to keep Eli from lobbing up throws that look like he’s playing 500 in the schoolyard and keep the Eagles from running 100 offensive plays.  There’s obvious risk, but at the price and in a one-week only DraftKings line-up, love Wilson here.
