Your WR top 80 4.0 is here! Now we have some real live NFL data to help make adjustments. Some players were removed due to injury or ineffectiveness, and some new faces have forced their way onto the scene.
This list is not league or format specific, but it is based on 2020 projection only. When thinking through tiers and rankings I asked myself simply – “all things considered who would I rather have on my roster?”
Rank | Change | Name | Team | Notes |

1 | Davante Adams | GB | His hamstring injury appears minor, was held out of week 2 as a precaution in a blowout

Tier 2 | ||||
4 | +1 | Tyreek Hill | KC | All systems go now that the hammy is fine |
5 | -1 | Chris Godwin | TB | Already announced back for week 3 |
6 | D.J. Moore | CAR | Tied for 4th in targets but it hasn’t shown up in the stats just yet

13 | +3 | Mike Evans | TB | 7-104-1 on 10 targets is a good way to start |
Tier 3 | ||||
14 | -6 | Juju Smith-Schuster | PIT | Volume not what it should be for a WR1 |
15 | +6 | D.K. Metcalf | SEA | I want any piece of the Seahawks right now and Metcalf is their most explosive player |
16 | -2 | Odell Beckham Jr. | CLE | A lot of concerns with this offense but 9 targets keeps him afloat |
17 | -2 | Kenny Golladay | DET | Surprising late injury caused him to miss week 1, could it linger? |
18 | +5 | Tyler Lockett | SEA | Less upside than Metcalf but Seattle is letting it all hang out and I want in |
19 | -2 | Keenan Allen | LAC | Targets are there, and Herbert should push the ball more than Taylor |
20 | -2 | Amari Cooper | DAL | |
21 | +7 | Stefon Diggs | BUF | Bills firing on all cylinders and Diggs is on an early pace for career high in targets |
Tier 4 | ||||
22 | -2 | A.J. Green | CIN | Tons of targets but production not there |
23 | +6 | Diontae Johnson | PIT | 2nd in the NFL in targets one of the biggest shocks of the early season |

27 | Tyler Boyd | CIN | ||
28 | -9 | Will Fuller | HOU | Soft tissue injury, rinse and repeat |
29 | +1 | Marquise Brown | BAL | Showed us he doesn’t need volume to produce; elite offense |
30 | +9 | Julian Edelman | NE | Pats are chameleons on offense; unclear what weeks will be pass or run heavy |
31 | DeVante Parker | MIA | ||
Tier 5 | ||||
32 | +28 | Robby Anderson | CAR | Didn’t see it coming but he’s the #2 in Carolina |
33 | +3 | CeeDee Lamb | DAL | May have already passed Michael Gallup |
34 | +11 | DeSean Jackson | PHI | Leading team in targets through 2 weeks |
35 | -3 | Henry Ruggs III | LV | |
36 | +6 | Brandin Cooks | HOU | Will assume alpha role if Fuller misses time |
37 | -4 | D.J. Chark | JAC | Currently 4th on Jacksonville in targets |
38 | -4 | Preston Williams | MIA | Week 2 was extremely disappointing |
39 | -4 | Darius Slayton | NYG
40 | -14 | Michael Gallup | DAL | So good in 2019 but has clearly taken a backseat |
Tier 6 | ||||
41 | -3 | Jarvis Landry | CLE | |
42 | -1 | Jalen Reagor | PHI | Increased snap percentage shows the rookie is trending up |
43 | -3 | Marvin Jones | DET | |
44 | +15 | Tre’Quan Smith | NO | Currently leading New Orleans in targets and yards at halftime |
45 | -2 | Laviska Shenault Jr | JAC | Continues to be used creatively; would love to see 5 carries + 5 receptions weekly |
46 | +12 | Russell Gage | ATL | A legitimate part of an incredibly high volume offense |
47 | NR | Corey Davis | TEN | This year’s DeVante Parker? |
Tier 7 | ||||
48 | +30 | Randall Cobb | HOU | Primary slot in an offense that will need to throw a lot |
49 | -3 | Marquez Valdes-Scantling | GB
50 | -4 | Bryan Edwards | LV | |
51 | -4 | Justin Jefferson | MIN
52 | -4 | Brandon Aiyuk | SF | |
53 | +5 | N’Keal Harry | NE | NE wants to get him the ball; led Pats in targets week 2 with 12 |
54 | -4 | John Brown | BUF | |
55 | -4 | Sammy Watkins | KC | |
56 | -4 | Mike Williams | LAC | |
57 | -4 | Jerry Jeudy | DEN | Jeudy could be the WR1 in Denver with Courtland Sutton out |
58 | +10 | Mecole Hardman | KC | If Sammy misses time will be fantasy relevant |
Tier 8 | ||||
59 | NR | K.J. Hamler | DEN | Sutton’s injury opens up plenty of targets; Hamler saw 7 in his first game |

61 | -4 | Deebo Samuel | SF | |
62 | -3 | Curtis Samuel | CAR | |

66 | -11 | Emmanuel Sanders | NO | Just not really used even with MT out |

69 | James Washington | PIT
70 | Michael Pittman Jr | IND
71 | +2 | Van Jefferson | LAR | |
72 | NR | Chase Claypool | PIT | If he overtakes Washington could be an upside desperation spot start type WR |
Tier 10 | ||||
73 | +1 | Larry Fitzgerald | ARI | Useful just no real upside |
74 | -9 | Golden Tate | NYG | |
75 | -4 | Denzel Mims | NYJ | If he every gets healthy could be the Jets’ WR1 immediately |
76 | NR | Darnell Mooney | CHI | Seems to have leapfrogged Anthony Miller |
77 | NR | Chris Hogan | NYJ | I hate this offense, but right now he’s the top target |
78 | -2 | Miles Boykin | BAL | |
79 | Quintez Cephus | DET | ||
80 | NR | Isaiah Ford | MIA | If he can secure a slot role, there is fantasy relevant potential |

Thanks for the ROS rankings al_FF_red!
12 team PPR…
who do you think is going to be more relevant going forward?
Hardman, Keelan Cole, KJ Hamler
Thanks
Hamler
Cole is fun but I think it ends up Shenault & Chark top 2
Hardman is still a dream right now
Gibson too much to give up for Robbie Anderson?
14 team std
Start 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex
I’ve got
Ekeler Drake Kelley Mackinnon Gibson AP Kerryon
Kupp MVS Hardman Reagor AJ Brown (inj)
I’d keep Gibson & waiver hunt for a spot start WR
or at least get a top 24 WR for Gibson … in a dynasty I just sent Golladay for Gibson and a 1st rd pick
Or lien send Drake for a bigger WR and keep Gib
Since I now have 3 tier 2 wide receivers, I’m dropping Fuller and let him be someone else’s problem.
neat. for who since you likely wanted somebody to ask
8 team league, no flex, my RBs are Jacobs and Kamara and I’ve been sitting Aaron Jones. Worth it to trade Jones and Tyler Boyd for McCaffery and JuJu. Juju would would start over Amari Cooper(I have Golladay and Ridley already). So really gives me more top depth. Worth doing or why mess with a good thing??
I wouldn’t acquire CMC with those RBs. You’re in good shape
10 team ppr
Trade my miles sanders/Keenan Allen/swift for Cooper/Moore/Josh Kelley
Think I like your current side. Sanders is the best player of the 6
1. Would you drop cohen or freeman for hamler or Cobb?
2. Would you drop cohen, freeman, trequan for Herbert (1qb 14m league w stafford as primary)
I’d drop Cohen for anyone. I’m assuming freeman is Devonta? So maybe hold him and see what happens in NY but I’m not optimistic
Def pick up Hamler to see how he’s used. He def could pop…
I wouldnt roster Herbert in 1QB unless it’s like 16+ teams
12 team, h2h, Standard scoring league where we only play 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 Flex, 1 TE. Off to 2-0 start which helps me look longer term. Cook and Taylor on byes week #7.
Dak
Cook, Taylor
Julio, Golladay
Montgomery
Higbee
Bench: Kelley, Mattison, Cohen
AJ Green, Lazard, Slayton
Drop Cohen for Gaskin, Shenault, Hamler, Henderson, Gesicki, Gage?
Id drop Cohen for literally any of those, but in order:
Henderson
Shenault
Gage
Hamler
Gaskin
Gesicki
cephus (golladay probably back soon) and ford and c.samuel (and esp b.edwards) over sims?
Sims is the 3rd option in a bad passing attack… borderline un-rosterable imo
Ford and CSam over Sims… Cephus probably a non-factor w/ Golladay back
Probably shoulda left Cephus off the list tbh, but were splitting hairs at WR79
i’d still want sims more than b-edwards (barely used at all, even WITH ruggs being mostly hurt since middle of week 1). cephus will have value if/when golladay not back yet (he’s probably back by sunday). i’d bet money that sims ends season with more value from week 3 till end of year though than ford (no bet if either gets injured, or if haskins gets injured)
– i’m seeing c.samuel might get rushing work till CMC is back, if that’s at all true i’d agree on c-sam being better than sims though.
Trade my M Davis for Sammy Watkins?
I wouldnt
Watkins in concussion protocol
10 team, 1pt ppr, standard roster dynasty.
I drafted Shenault with 4.09 and have a trade offer for him of:
2021 2nd rd pick
(2) 2021 3rd rd picks For Shenault.
How do you feel about him long term? I feel its good value over what i spent, my other wr are:
Allen, Woods, Boyd, Lockette, Lamb Watkins, DJAX, Tate
Edit** 2021 2nd rd, 3rd and a 2022 3rd
That feels like the equivalent of 3 bench guys for a starter
Shenault has looked like what we thought he could be early on and I wouldn’t send for that package unless you just were super depleted in picks. Even then try for a 2021 2nd and 2022 1st
Would you move Lamb for 2 2021 1sts.( 1 is likely to be 1.01).
14m league
1. would you bench hollywood (tough matchup) or julio (hammy) this week and start mike davis
2. is tre’quan droppable after this week? looking for a more ROS WR. is this hamler or cobb?
