Kyle Pitts was to be the next great tight end. Functionally a wide receiver with a tight end designation, he was always going to step up from his TE5 finish in 2021, right? Well most of us thought so! He was a consensus 3rd round pick, which looked like amazing value. It wasn’t. While Travis […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Last week my breakout wide receivers were led by explosive talents in George Pickens, Drake London and Donovan Peoples-Jones, but this week we have to buckle down and turn our laser focus to the shallow tight end position. Coming off one of the worst seasons for the position in the history of fantasy football, this […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Imagine this line as belted out by Bruce Buffer….”IT’S TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!!!!!” You know it, folks, it is officially fantasy football playoffs and this past weekend either saw you in or out. For all my readers out there, I hope I provided information to help you land a spot in your playoffs. If so, and you were […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Well, Mitch is headed into the fantasy football therapist’s office this morning after taking three bad, brutal beats in Week 13. I am well below the RazzBowl 4 cutline after rolling into the playoffs at the top of the standings (Top 10). My #1 home league saw the bad beat occur when the Cowboys, seemingly […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
What do you call it when a bunch of teams are on BYE, Christian McCaffrey is traded, and J.K. Dobbins is gonna miss half the year? I dunno. You’re gonna have to speak louder because the sounds of my sobbing are drowning you out.
Much like our esteemed Thursday Night Football writer Hobbs once wrote, “Fantasy football is nasty, brutish, and short.” Civilization is breaking down at the seams and we’re all in our natural state, foraging for running backs wherever we can find them.
Let’s jump in and see if we can avoid any pitfalls this week. Also, because I’m super nice, I’m going to toss in some quick take analysis on the more significant roster moves. Please, blog, may I have some more?
You know the old fantasy football saying, “Do not chase points”, right? That saying is one you should almost always consider…ALMOST. At this point in the 2022 fantasy football season, we just need to survive, week by week, both the injuries and byes. What that means is we will probably have to catch lightning in […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Hello readers, we have reached the final rookie rankings list for the 2022 draft. I hope some of you still find this list useful in your rookie drafts, or perhaps that initial post-draft fab run. I have gone a little deeper with this list and included 65 players. Good luck to you on your season […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
Rookies ranked 30-45 are unlikely to provide much help in your 2023 season. This is the portion of your draft where you can play favorites. Do you like a situation for a certain player? Maybe you were happy with the player your favorite team selected or signed after the draft? Or, is there a […]Please, blog, may I have some more?
The 2022 class lacks a pinnacle player like Kyle Pitts. None of these players will be drafted in the top 5. I don’t expect any of these guys to sign 30-million-dollar contracts, either. The 2022 class does offer a group of auspicious players though. I plan to target 1-3 players from this group as I build my roster. Here’s how I stack them up.Please, blog, may I have some more?
