So this is it my friends, quite possibly the last fantasy regular season week we’ll spend together… until we all do this again next year. And seeing as how we are celebrating the holidays with relatives who know about as much as brining a turkey (want to know why the turkey is so dry? Because you need to brine it folks…) as they do politics, football is a nice recompense. Well, that along with copious amounts of alcohol. But in that spirit, I’d like to thank all my contributors and staff writers, because without you, this place would just be all Jay all the time. And if you guy’s know anything, you never go full Jay. So in no particular order, special thanks to Tehol Beddict, Alex Lee, Matt Bowe, Zach, Dominic Hall, Mike Honcho, Stan Son, Mike Maher, malamoney, Matt Hayes, Lance, and Rudy Gamble, who handles so many things on the back-end (that’s what she said) of the site. And I’d also, while I’m at it, thank you, the readers and community. Obviously, without all of you, we wouldn’t be here… I mean, Tehol would be here, but if Tehol writes of his love for Andre Ellington and no one reads it, did it really happen?

Be sure to check out our Start and Sits for today’s games here, along with Rudy’s updated projections for Week 12 by clicking here. Tehol’s rankings can be found here. And as always, my updated rankings are available after the jump!

Select the “Flex” tab if you need a more complete picture to decide your starts and sits. Use the “OP” tab for 2QB Leagues. And you can access our Half PPR and PPR rankings using the drop down box in the top left of our rankings when you select the RB, WR, TE, or Flex positions. Any and all questions will be answered below…

    (link)

in standard dynasty with these (start 2 RB/3 WR)
    RB zeke/morris/booker/bibbs/d.lewis/melgor
    WR a.brown/hilton/d.thomas/m.thomas/maclin
drop anybody to grab smallwood? d.lewis maybe?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: I’m okay using Maclin to make the switch, but I don’t think you necessarily need to make the move.

  2. Mobin Can't Hack It says:
    (link)

wait, why is this last week? do standard leagues only use weeks 13-15 for playoffs or something, all of mine do 14-16 for playoffs. plus won’t you be ranking each week till end of NFL season anyway

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: Yeah, Mileage may vary, but playoffs for some leagues start next week. RCLs start as you said, 14-16.

  3. Mike says:
    (link)

In need of a big showing this week. Win and I’m in the playoffs. If the 3 RBs, who do you start: Crowell, Hightower or Smallwood? I don’t trust Crowell and I’m kinda buying the hype surrounding Smallwood.

Also, of the following, who would you start in FLEX: Doug Martin, Pryor, Terrance west or devonte booker?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mike: Yeah, I’d go Smallwood there and I think you go Booker. Good luck!

  4. malamoney says:
    (link)

Love you too man! Big ups for the lower case shout out…

  5. Nick says:
    (link)

Morning Jay…this week I’m jumping between Boyd & Snead as my WR3 behind (sadly) Marshall & D Adams in my 10team standard. You and many others have Snead higher but Mr. Tehol has Boyd well above Snead. Thoughts? Boyd is more of a WR1/2 in Cincy offense at this point vs. Snead as 3rd option in NO… (note: going up against Brees this week)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Morning man! I dunno man, Tehol has been on fire. I might ride his hot hand.

  6. Zandy says:
    (link)

No Watkins in the rankings or did I miss him? Thanks for everything jay

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Yeah, that’s my bad, he should be in there in the next 15 minutes.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      I

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Sorry for that phone error, was going to say, I have him at 60. Rankings should have him in now.

  7. Nick says:
    (link)

Also, what is the consensus for Cobb v. Adams in my 12 team league?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

I think Adams is the guy there.

  8. Robby says:
    (link)

    Happy Sunday & week 12!
    It’s crunch time jay!

    .5 ppr league

Need one at WR, then one for flex out of :

    Hopkins (vs Chargers)

    E sanders (vs Chiefs)

Sterling Shepard (on the road at Cleveland)

    Jeremy hill (at Baltimore)

Smallwood (home in Philadelphia vs packers on MNF)

    Thanks man!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

You too! I think Smallwood and Sanders.

  9. Nick says:
    (link)

Need two in a standard league: Terrence West, Latavius Murray, Jonathan Stewart, and James Starks.

Also, in the same league, Tyler Boyd or Tyrell Williams (the AJ Green injury has hit me hard).

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Murray, JStew, and Williams. I’m okay going Boyd for Tehol there too.

  10. Frank says:
    (link)

Half ppr – Ty Williams or Britt? They are pretty close on your rankings Ty 29, Britt 36… Britt”s matchup (@ NO) is tempting.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank: Yeah, I like the Britt matchup too. I think Williams is the safe choice, and depending on my other options, probably sticking with him. Britt if you think the upside is needed.

  11. Damon says:
    (link)

Debating Cobb or Davantae Booker in Flex in a PPR. Surprised you have Cobb ranked to far below Booker. Is it that much of a no brainer?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Yeah, I think you go Booker there.

      • Damon says:
        (link)

@Jay: thanks. Booker probably has the higher floor.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

          @Damon: yeah, I think so.

  12. Pu$$y Control says:
    (link)

1/2 ppr. would you start either Gronk or Watkins over Hopkins or Hyde in flex positions?

  13. Timm says:
    (link)

I see ranking wise you like Miami’s d more than Titans but looks close I’m torn lol

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Timm: I’d always say go with your gut. My gut says Dolphins though.

  14. Pu$$y Control says:
    (link)

would you play hightower or d. lewis above either hopkins or hyde flex 1/2 ppr?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Pu$$y Control: Hightower is the closest, but probably not.

  15. Pete says:
    (link)

Wow you’re Booker bump is making this tough for me: should i really bench Forte in favor of Booker in PPR? I wish I had a mulligan with Gore and could play both. I’m also sitting Howard too this week

    • Pete says:
      (link)

@Pete: One other question: la fell or powell for ppr flex? i’m also planning on playing Boyd so I don’t know if that swings it one way or the other

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Pete: tough one. I’m just liking Booker’s matchup a lot right now.

  16. bobbo says:
    (link)

Hating my options of Winston or Tyrod this week. Already in somewhat of a hole from the Thanksgiving games so go for Winston’s upside of Tyrod’s floor? Only other viable options on the wire are Bortles and (gasp) Kaepernick.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@bobbo: yeah, probably Winston and hope he goes off.

      • bobbo says:
        (link)

@Jay: I like the way you think. Thanks and good luck this weekend!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

          @bobbo: you too man!

  17. PaulZone says:
    (link)

Newton or Mariota? I have stuck with Newton through this whole Mariota run…Keep Newton in or not?

Pick 2: Edelman, Steve Smith or Benjamin?

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@PaulZone: I think Newton today, but hold on Mariota one more week. And I would say Edelman and Benjamin.

  18. Hebert's bunch says:
    (link)

Down to the wire my man!

.5 ppr been going back / fourth all week: Hopkins vs Chargers & looks like Brandon flowers is out for SD. Or , Manny Sanders vs Chiefs. Thoughts of sanders with Marcus peters? Must win mode!

  19. MisterMister says:
    (link)

For my FLEX, thinking Jimmy Jam Graham over Ingram and Hightower. Considered Hightower since he’d at least get targets, but don’t trust the division of labor against the Rams D. Non-PPR. Your thoughts?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@MisterMister: I think that’s an okay play. NonPPR is a little risky, but if your team can handle that risk, I’d do it.

      • MisterMister says:
        (link)

        @Jay: Would you go Hightower?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@MisterMister: no, I’d always choose ingram out of those two. But Graham seems safer.

  20. Pete says:
    (link)

la fell or powell for ppr flex? i’m also planning on playing Boyd so I don’t know if that swings it one way or the other

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Pete: I think you hope for the upside of Boyd and combine that with the floor of Powell. Probably the safe bet.

  21. Frank says:
    (link)

Rivers or Tannehill? 1pt per completion league

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Frank: Rivers I’d say.

  22. Charles says:
    (link)

    Brate or Gronkowski?

ESPN projections have me down 14 at the moment, so need some help!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Charles: I think Gronk, but Belichick may ef us over.

  23. Mobin Can't Hack It says:
    (link)

in a 20 teamer i’m a pretty good sized favorite and got VERY lucky that m.wilson was used (just added him), t.smith was used and healthy (TD), but alas, i played jj nelson over wilson, i need the win too.

    1. 14 team PPR, with these WR:
    a.brown/t-will (SD)/royal/diggs/boyd/parker/royal
some of these guys look injured and i guess i jumped the gun dropping inman for royal with benjamin back. out of $100 budget i have 23 left, setting waivers like this:
(all dropping royal) inman for $7
    m.wilson for $5
    boldin for $4
i also will have bradford to drop (have luck) if luck passes concussion protocol where they take you into funhouse with mirrors and spin you around for about an hour then set you loose, and lock the door for 4-5 days. this team is likely 11-1 but i’m still cheesed off to have dropped inman here when i could’ve just waited to see if benjamin was actually back to speed, which he must not have been.

      • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
        (link)

@Cram It: oh wow, you come out of the hole at night now.

        • Cram It says:
          (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: What? I really liked your story. It had action, humor, psychological drama and a fine twist.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: It’s kinda strange, because Benjamin has looked amazing at points this year, but is clearly not 100%. It sucks waiting, but man is he going to be hyped next year.

  24. Todd says:
    (link)

Wowza! Talk about a tight matchup; in my .5 ppr league I am down by 1 point. Opponent just has Booker left. I have mason Crosby & Smallwood. Yikes!

    • Todd says:
      (link)

      @Todd:

Scratch that I’m down half a point even closer

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Todd: It’ll be close to the end I think. Smallwood hype this week has been interesting. Lets see what he can do.

      • Todd says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Def going to be on the edge of my seat & rooting on the Chiefs defense lol

        • Todd says:
          (link)

          @Todd:

          Dang dang dang!

My matchup was close but opponent came back.

          He has 118.5

          I have 104.5

I have Smallwood, Crosby & defensive player left

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

@Todd: Could be enough though. If one hits and the other two just contributes…

  25. Sinkhole Demayo says:

man that SS haircut really is getting popular, and trump is late to this game. blaming beckham (soccer) and darmody (m.pitt) probably correct, or maybe just this hair thing was the water line indicating fascism is back in the u.s. baby and it’s been back for years!

they did have cool knives though, maybe those too will make a comeback

      • Sinkhole Demayo says:
        (link)

@Jay: yeah, i’m not cool with the rest of it, hopefully those knives won’t need to be used in the streets getting into some stupid shit defending some pigmented person (i myself by looks alone would probably be assumed to have inherited that knife if i had it)

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Sinkhole Demayo: Maybe Inglorious Bastards 2 could happen. Though, I think that was one of Tarantino’s weakest films.

          • Sinkhole Demayo says:
            (link)

            @Jay: yep and still awesome.
