Welcome to the first annual Razzball Fantasy Football Dynasty Rankings list-a-roo. I capped it AND italicized it, because it’s just that special. Just like my first time with your mother… Spoiler Alert! We’re doing things keeper league style, dynasty style… whichever nomenclature you prefer. Basically, if you hold onto players for more than a year, these are the rankings you’ve been waiting your whole life for. Whole life maaan. (Seriously. I think…) Remember, the process for this list is quite unique, in that this isn’t your list. It’s my list. So, yeah, I’ll love guys a lot more than you will, or vica versa. And I think these differences can be even more pronounced in this format. It’s just the way it is. So yeah, if you stuck me in a dynasty league this very instant, this is pretty much the list, in order, of who I’d personally want long term. Things like previous production, expected 2016 production, projections for 2016-2018, future potential, age, position, and injury-risk are all things I bake into the rankings. Because what is a Jay post without a food or cooking reference? NOTHING. Regardless, I’m pretty sure that the big takeaway here is that I believe in the Oxford comma. And I guess a lot of comma’s in general. And short sentences. And baking. And food. And your mother. Word.
Thanks for the good read Jay. Is there going to be a IDP rankings as well.?
Not this season. Kevin, our former IDP writer, will be part of the pods this season though, so be sure to check those out for some IDP info.
Jay,
12 team keeper league, keep 2 players, so 24 players off the board. Mostly WR that I have heard.. We hand in our keepers tomorrow.
I have the 2nd pick overall this season and Elliot is being drafted 1st.
So I was offered either Rodgers or AP for my 1st pick. In return the deal will turn out to be I get AP, or Rodgers 2nd rd and 4th rd pick for my 1st rd and 6th rd.
I own Charles who I would keep, others WR I have are Landry, Watkins and Benjamin.
Quarterbacks get 6 pt for TD pass and run. I traded my 3rd rd pick last year for Palmer, but I had too many injuries to overcome last year and I loss alot the 2nd half of the season.
Thoughts?
@primetime: In a normal keeper, I’d probably not do this, but with the fact that you can only keep two players, and with the fact that you can’t get Elliot, yeah, I’m thinking this trade really works out for ya.
@Jay: Jay, which one would you take Aaron Rodgers or AP?
@primetime: Depending on how the QB free agent list looks, I’d probably lean Rodgers there.
@Jay: As of right now, only Cam Newton being kept.
@primetime: Yeah, so you’re still getting a top-5 here. I’d do it.
Hey Jay
We keep 3 in our 10 team league. PPR. Start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1flex
I have to choose between
Rodgers, Luck, Hopkins, Allen Robinson, BMarsh, Gurley, David Johnson, Ingram
Hopkins and Gurley are locks imo.
Who would you pick as the 3rd?
12 team, 1/2 pt PPR league, 3 keepers. You keep the player in the round you drafted them in the year prior. Would you keeper AP in the 1st round or Thomas Rawls in the 15th? I already have David Johnson in the 16th and Allen Robinson in the 8th.
