Welcome to the second part of receiver rankings, where we here at Razzball put the PP in PPR. Wait, what? As stated in the standard receiver rankings, I find this position the hardest, though your mom never complains. ICE BURN. Just the sheer volume of names combined with the fact that your standard roster size requires at least three to four of them, well, you now know what’s going on in my general vicinity. And if you’re that close, WATCH OUT, for you will like love the cut of this jib. Because I guess it’s 40’s throwback vernacular Tuesday.Puts on fedora, winks, begins to swing dance. So let’s go ahead and begin the great quest to put our PP in PPR (there’s gotta be a better way to say that) and get to the rankings… (wearing pants is optional, but frowned upon in this establishment.)

Jay, I’ve asked this sort of question before, but in a 2 QB league 12 teams, PPR, normally I would go QB with my first pick. Are any of these WR’s a smarter 1st round choice over a QB in that format. I’m trying to get my first 3 or 4 rounds clear in my head. It’s a redraft and I don’t know my pick selection yet.

It depends on the names, for sure, but hypothetically, you should probably go QB in the first, best at the position second, and then start thinking about another QB. The points they provide are just too valuable in a league like this.

    Jay,
Question 2. There isn’t much talk or written about 2 QB leagues or the super flex position. Do you think it’s fair to say just grab a QB first then refer to ADP’S after that? Basically it would just drop everyone one round. Our format is 3 WR, 2 RB, 2 TE, Flex, and Super Flex to make it more clear. We have a kicker and defense to give us a 11 player team.

I actually think that 2 QB’s in the first five rounds is the nominal strategy. I’ll be doing a 2QB post later in the offseason to help navigate these waters, but that’s the short answer.

Asked this before but lose 4th round keep Watkins or lose 9th round keep lat or lose 15th round keep hurns. This is Ppr league. I also have the 1st pick in the draft.

People are keeping Odell beckham, Matt jones, freeman, David johnson, kelvin, jordy Nelson, Lamar Miller, Brandon Marshall, cj anderson

I have to take bell #1 because I’ll get shit at end of 2nd, top 3rd?
Hard to pass Antonio brown up guaranteed points every week

Yeah, that’s a tough one, but even in PPR, I’m leaning slightly to Bell. And I like that Hurns value… at least enough to offset Watkins, who I’m not completely sold on at that price.

Why so high on your boy Sammy Watkins? Injury doesn’t bother you?

@Zach: Not yet. We’ll see how he recovers from reports and such, but I’d like to take a wait and see.

I was thinking luck or Eli as my 1 then Stafford Winston Flacco as a backup. Any issues,

Not at all, I think you could do well with that combo, sans Flacco.

Non Ppr (other comments were closed) how do you justify jordy over the likes of Mike Evans?

    • Jay

@Christian Herman: I’m still very high on Jordy, but I’ll be watching reports on how he’s been progressing. I think you combine him with Rodgers, and yeah, I’d probably take that over Evans at the moment.

Thanks! I also saw you were lower on Baldwin than most. Can I get your input on that? Feel like he can be a 6th round pick in 10 team leagues

@Christian Herman: Honestly, I’m a little tired with the Seahawks passing game. I really wanted this past season to be the big step forward with Jimmy Graham’s edition, but right now, I’m just not impressed.
