Running backs have the shortest lifespan of all footballers so when you draft one in dynasty, you’re hoping for immediate output. Likewise, when risking an early-round redraft pick on this year’s crop of runners, you’d like to know what to expect. Well lucky for you, that’s exactly what we’re looking at today! We’ll be breaking […]

My friends: the time is nigh. Pumpkin spice has returned to your local Starbucks, German restaurants are advertising pre-Octoberfest parties, and your fantasy football team is about ready to enter the fray. Whether you’re looking to win some money or just not suffer the embarrassment of losing to Tony from Accounting, we’re here to help you win your leagues.

Put it in your calendar: this year I’ll be re-capping the Sunday games with a Monday byline. Of course, that leaves me with a quizzical task for this final pre-season article: do I write the 7,000th “draft this guy in round 20” article that you’ve read this year — and you’ve probably drafted 18 teams by now — or do I bring my award-winning analytical eye to tell you how to not fudge up your Week 1 fantasy football lineup? Our time is probably best spent doing the latter. ACKSHUALLY, our time is best spent taking a nap or staring at the ocean or contemplating a shirtless Austin Ekeler. But for now, I’m going to set you on the right track with some strategies to help you claim a week 1 victory.

To help claim victories throughout the whole dang year, check out the Razzball Premium Fantasy Football Tools — it’s how we keep the lights on and the coffee fresh. Running backs ranked 40 thru 80 is money time for the fantasy managers looking to employ the RB Zero, RB Hero, or Wide Net approach to the position. If you can hit on a player or two from this group, they can improve your fantasy fortunes. Knowledge is the key. Not all third-string running backs are created equal. Good fantasy managers will know which backups are high-upside youngsters and which backups are aging veterans in the din of their NFL career. I recommend readers pay less attention to the rank of the players in this group, and more to their story, as the rankings from this group can be capricious. Pick out a dozen or so that you like, and make a point to get some of them.

B_Don brings back JB Barry to fill in and get you ready for your championship week. We discuss the week 17 and dynasty rankings of some young WRs. From the return of A.J. Brown to Amon-Ra St. Brown to the Alabama WRs, and where they fall among dynasty WRs.

With week 17 upon us, how are the guys approaching some of the week 16 performers at RB like Rex Burkhead, Chase Edmonds, Rashaad Penny, and Razzball’s second son, Dare Ogunbowale. At the end of the show, we talk about some of the potential weather and what games we may be on the look out for before we give you our “A**hole of the Week!”

It is the final week of the regular season. Did your letter from Hogwarts arrive? Did a painted blue key mysteriously appear on your coffee table? I am trying to ask if you’ve made the playoffs. Well, I hope so and I hope this weekly column has assisted you along the way. With the playoffs just a week away, it is time to make secure decisions for your team. Handcuff those running backs and look past a single week outlook. The playoff semifinals and finals matchups should carry a great deal of weight with your waiver decisions, especially if you’ve already secured a bye.

I thought this was supposed to be the Van Jefferson and OdB fan club meetup? No? Did we get an NFT of the Steamer? Hey Donkey Teeth, why didn’t you invest in that? These kind of intros are SEO nightmares. On the one hand, Google thinks “Van Jefferson NFT” is super cool but on the other hand…Steamers. We better get into the MNF coverage before this post gets NSFW, but really, nothing could be more on-screen violence than what the 49ers did to the Rams last night.

Ah yes. Week 7. It’s so easy to look over this slate of games and think: “huh. This seems like a boring week”. This might be partially influenced by watching superstars Teddy Bridgewater and Case Keenum face off in an extremely boring game in Cleveland. And listen, you’re probably right. The favorites might just sweep the board and we may experience the most lopsided and dull day in NFL history. But how many times have you really seen that EVER happen? That’s right, it’s always any given Sunday, baby.

You could tell the Halloween spirit was in the air in our first Thursday Night Football game in October. We saw the Seattle Seahawks come out in their neon green uniforms, looking like a bunch of aliens to set the tone. Then, right on the opening kickoff, Tutu Atwell took the kick and made it about 10 yards before the ghost of Cortez Kennedy blindsided him causing him to hit the ground and fumble out of bounds with no other players around him. Before the game was over, both quarterbacks had bandages on their hands after having to mummy wrap their respective finger injuries. You knew something spooky was going on when we saw Geno Smith out there with his first real game action since 2017. We are definitely in the Halloween season!

Another new day is upon us, folks. Another beautiful weekend of NFL football, another week of eating chicken wings and slamming brews while enjoying a real sport instead of some European nonsense like smelling gross cheese and discussing feelings. Or whatever those degenerates do over there. Could we be more blessed? Well, yeah. Your players could be healthy and your teams could be playing well but instead, here we are!

So let’s get into the latest injury news and updates for Week 4!

Two weeks down, a whole bunch more to go folks! So don’t worry about being too overreactive when… Wait how many players are injured? This is just like week 2 last year? This is what happens when you shorten the preseason? Well, that changes things.

Maybe it is overreaction time, eh?

Here’s your weekly round-up of all those poor souls we’ve lost; all the hurting ankles, knees, toes, and groins (heh) you could ever ask for. Buckle up because this is a big one.

B_Don and Donkey Teeth are back to discuss the happenings from week 2 and look forward into week 3, AND BEYOND. We start with some Justin Fields talk as he takes the starting job for DA BEARS.

The guys take a look at some of the more confusing time shares in fantasy football. What to do with messy RB situations like Dallas, LA Rams, and Baltimore. We also look into the WR groups for the Rams, Ravens, Vikings, 49ers, and Broncos. The guys also spend about 20 minutes discussing Tyler Lockett and the consistency of WRs week to week. Ryder die this week!
