2013 RCL FootballWeek 4 of RCL action is in the books, and it was a big scoring week with the big outputs from the Prime Time games, so a lot of teams have made big strides in climbing up the leader board.  If you still haven’t taken a gander yet, we’ve got the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Well it was a heart stopper indeed with the Heart Stoppers crushing the RCL ecosystem this week from the Hernandez Hit Men league, putting up 217.02 points in an epic week amongst elite weeks.  A team featuring Brees, Gonzo, Foster, is always going to have a chance to score it big, but it was the surprise big game from Nate Washington and the solid streaming move of the Colts D against the Jags that put the Stoppers over the top(pers).  Despite the huge week, the Stoppers move to 2-2 and only 7th place, with scott’s Team the only undefeated squad left in the Hit Men league.  Everyone put a bounty on scott!  Congrats again Heart Stoppers for becoming an RCL legend!

Razzball Writers League – Wooooooo!  It feels good being on top!  And not like that… Or maybe definitely like that!  While I was the third highest scoring team this week, I move to 4-0 and I’m challenging several of the RCL elites.  With a strong core of Adrian Peterson and Jordan Cameron, I still had a great week with my Pack attack (Rodgers, Nelson AND James Jones) all on bye and with a Ryan Broyles goose egg.  Murph’s Team led us in scoring this week aided by the big game from Alson Jeffery.  In a big duel for us Razzball Writers, I look to take down Loudon’s Team who was an early season powerhouse in a colossal 4-0 v. 3-1 throw down.  You’re mine Loudon!

JB’s Random Commenter League –  Whewwww-eeee!  I got smoked.  Despite a solid 140.38-point week, marc’s Team had one of the RCL’s biggest week 4’s with the big games in Prime Time from Drew Brees and Tony Gonzalez.  Plus, the ultimate insult to injury was he still stuck with Greg Jennings in his flex for one of the RCL’s earliest lucky plays.  Jennings hadn’t done anything!  With that smack down I move to 2-2, while the real story is the great start for The Green Bastards who move to 4-0 and leads the league in points.  Bastard!  He’ll have to take down marc’s Team and his ridiculous Greg Jennings luck to move to 5-0.

Rancho Rajneesh – With 181.04 points, Philadelphia Collins brought home the Rancho Bacon led by the Chargers combo of P Riv and A Gate, and a nice strong day from AP and DT.  So many abbreviations!  ReadOptionForDummies continues their very strong run at RCL glory with yet another win, and puts their 4-0 to the test against Your Mom!

Murphatron’s RCL – RollsBroyce topped the loyal Murphatrons this week, led by former and current Saints RBs Reggie Bush and Darren Sproles to move to 3-1 and the most points in the league.  They’ll face the Cuddly Penguins, who by a mere point has the second most points in the league but somehow can’t buy wins at 1-3.  The 4-0 Doughrollers will try to move to 5-0 and take down Murph.  Reprah-zent us well, Murph!

The Shituation Room – A big week from One Potato Two who almost got it to three potatoes with Tony Gonzalez and Peyton Manning going off.  Team 2002 all-stars!  Who says football is a young man’s game?  The 3-1 Potatoes move to first in the league and will have to Smoke A Bowe to move to 4-1.

Razzball Rebels – Man, the members of the Rebels league are surely getting their poon’s jabbed, as Poon Jab moves to 4-0 and sole possession of the top spot.  Beating The White Broncos by only 4 points, the Poon topped the league in scoring this week as well.  They’ll look to keep their L’s at 0 with a tough matchup against the strong 3-1 Purple People Eaters.

Pabst & Razz – I think the people in the real Big D wished their real-life NFL team was as good as the RCL Big D, as they moved to 3-1 with the highest scoring Pabst score this week.  Also moving into first place, they’ll square off against Acid Rap in a great Breaking Bad showdown.

A League of RCL Thrones – In one of the best weeks on our fourth Sunday, CreanNCrimson’s Team put up a whopping 194.88 points led by Gonzo and Cruz.  By a mere two points, team B R O K E N narrowly grips the top spot at 3-1 with Crimson right there also at 3-1.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Wheeden – The Brewtown Merkins moved to 3-1 with a nice 181.88-point week, led by Peyton and Bush to the most points in the league and the top spot through a quarter of the season.  They’ll look to go to 4-1 against Jason Pierre Palsy who is a paltry 1-3.  Looking like a win there for Brewtown.

RCLBBWSVU – Top honors goes to the Bearded Hoes who locked down a victory  led by Victor Cruz and Alson Jeffery to move to 3-1 and 3rd in the league.  The Defenestrators leads the acronym league with a 3-1 record, and will look to stay at only one loss against The Facial Network in week 5.

My Wife Frowns Upon This – Another/Possibly the same Big D squad took top honors this week in the frowny league, stepping up to 3-1 and making asses out of the Ass Hats.  4-0 squads Sex Panther By Odeon and One I’d Willy face opponents with a total 2-6 record, so they’re both in good position to move to 5-0 and stay atop the RCL leader board.

Monday Morning QB’s – Stick’m sure stuck’it to the QB’s league, leading the league in scoring and moving to third place in the league despite a 2-2 record.  With only one other team above .500, the 4-0 kitchen stinks continues their strong season with another win.

Cracklin’ Brats RCL – By a mere point-and-a-half, Let’s Get Some Percy was able to take the highest scoring honors in week 4 from Planet 10, with Percy moving to 2-2 despite a strong lead in overall points.  The 4-0 Hot Sauce will be trying to keep things spicy against Go Pack to stay atop the league standings.

Bobby Boucher’s Water Bottle – A huge week from Dougie Fresh’s Team, putting up 192.24 points against Rassele Wulsons and beating them by over 100 points.  Despite a huge advantage in points and some seriously big weeks, Dougie Fresh is stuck at second with a 3-1 record, while the undefeated Cowtown Russellers will look to keep their record blemish-free against Steel City Taliban.

The Podcast Kingdom – One of the rare 190+ point games this season, Kickalicious Suh broke out of a horrible 0-3 start to lead the kingdom in scoring.  The Giants could take a page out of your playbook!  With Gonzo and Cruz taking over, the bounce back from Arian Foster has Suh looking like the comeback player of the year.  Hats off to my boys Will and the Pirates moving to to 3-1 and still atop the league!  Go Pirates!

Nick’s Bad JB Impersonation – Straight Outta Omaha was straight outta a fantasy wet dream with a huge 200.22-point week led by Brees Gonzo and Foster for an elite Razzball showing.  In one of the RCL’s most lopsided leagues, 5 teams sit atop the league at 3-1 with Omaha in third.

Any Given Sunday – Geez, did we get hacked or something?!  Yet another Big D squad, and yet another top scoring week.  Just like Suh in the Podcast Kingdom, Big D came back in grand fashion after an 0-3 start led by Gonzo and the Foster return to prominence.  Sexy Suzy Kolber II clasps onto a 4-0 record and will look for a 5-0 start against the Horse Collars in week 5.

Booty Hunters Unlimited – In the RCL’s second-biggest week in week 4, Purple Jesus nearly walked on water with a 209.98-point week, led by the big games from his first three picks in Foster Sproles and Graham.  Despite that strong core, Sproles and Foster started a little slow and Jesus is only 2-2.  The Street Sweepers move to 4-0 and should walk into another win going against the league’s worst Pughnitive Damages who sit at 0-4.

Take On Jaywrong – Go JayWrong!  His HandSchaub is just so smooth, so tender, so giving off rewards.  Led by Sproles and Gates, JayWrong moves to  great 4-0 start.

The Razzbro League – The Barded Meat Muffins (I’m still scared to even type it!) move to 4-0 and take top scoring honors this week from the ‘bros.  They face a tough test from the Belligerent Beavers who sit at 3-1 in an epic early season fight to the death.

Razzball Experts League – Another strong showing from the Rushmore Beekeepers who move to 4-0 after narrowly edging out C.D.  Carter who had a solid week as well.  Let by Brown, Welker and Graham, Rushmore should waltz into a 5-0 record against an 0-4 J. Becraft–FFOasis.

The Shadynastys – Big week from Gtoxitis who not only topped the nastys in points this week, but the league as well at 4-0.  They didn’t waste any time by beating Wasting Time pretty handily led by Dez and Charles.  The tox will look to go to 5-0 against the very tough 3-1 Shake N Bacon.

One More RCL – Da Dogz were the alpha dog’s this week, putting up 184.10 led by Sproles and Graham who vaulted him over Da Bears in a big Monday Night scoring binge.  The league is lead by a pair of undefeated squads – Kobayashi Maru and Devastation Squad Jr – who both look to go 5-0 against opponents with an average 1-3 record.

Take On Jaywrong 2 – In the most important league there is, no seriously, the best RCL league in the history of RCLs – Mr Fantasy Football took home the cheddah with big cheese games from Brees and Arian Foster.  Fish’s Official Team boasts the top spot with yet another win to move to 4-0, and league commish JayWrong and his Sisqo’s Other Hits got another W by thonging The Big Tebowski.  You guys rule Take On JayWrong 2!
